Callum Ilott - KF3
In lotta per il titolo
Da quando il suo kart mette le ruote in pista, si dimostra il più
veloce di tutti: 1° dalle qualifiche alla prefinale (compresa).
In finale è 3° a causa di due piccoli errori che, altrimenti, gli
avrebbero regalato la vittoria: chi ha vinto lo ha fatto con merito,
ma l’esile inglese, in finale, ha sofferto più di altri il gran caldo
e la pista gommata. A una gara dalla fine è comunque 2° in
classifica generale e in lotta per il titolo.
Lance Stroll - KF3
Sarebbe stato da top 5
In ogni gara in cui si presenta è sempre fra i protagonisti e potrebbe essere da top 5 alla fine
del weekend, se in finale qualche problema elettrico non lo avesse penalizzato, facendolo
chiudere al 12° posto. Eppure in prefinale (A) aveva fatto bene con il 6° posto alla bandiera a
scacchi. Per raccogliere un risultato vincente, appuntamento a Zuera il 5 agosto prossimo.
Dan Ticktum - KF3
Fra i primi c’è sempre
Riesce a qualificarsi alle finali nonostante una
manche sfortunata; in prefinale, poi, sorprende
tutti facendo segnare il 2° miglior giro in pista e
chiudendo al 7° posto. Si conferma in finale dove
chiude con un buon 13° posto che certifica i suoi
progressi costanti gara dopo gara.
Jinya Yamakawa - KF3
Poche gare, ma buone…
Fa della grande costanza la sua forza: 8° nelle qualifiche,
6° assoluto nelle manche, 4° nella sua prefinale (B), 8° in
finale e conseguente 8° posto anche nella classifica punti a
una gara dalla fine del campionato. Gli manca solo l’acuto
vincente per fare un ulteriore passo in avanti, ma il piede
pesante c’è.
Corre raramente in gare di livello Internazionale,
ma lo fa con grande qualità: sempre fra i primi nelle
manche (8°, 6°, 6°), “paga” un incidente in una di
queste. Poco male, perché nelle sua prefinale (A)
il giapponese chiude 11°, qualificandosi così alla
finale. Qui un contatto al via lo costringe al ritiro,
ma il bilancio del weekend è più che positivo.
Thiago Vivacqua – KF2
Contatti fatali
32° nelle qualifiche, nelle manche è spesso costretto a
inseguire da fondo griglia: ci riesce in tre manche su
cinque (8°, 9° e 11°), ma nelle altre due alcuni contatti lo
penalizzano, escludendolo dalla finale. Se si fosse qualificato
sarebbe stato da 15°-20° posto in finale.

Callum Ilott - KF3
In the battle for the title
As soon as his kart sets tire on the track, it proves the fastest:
1st from qualifyings to prefinal (included). In the final Ilott is
3rd due to two small errors, otherwise he would have taken the
victory: the winner deserved his success, but the English driver
in the final struggled more than others with the heat and the
rubbery track. A race from the end, he is in any case 2nd in the
general standings and battling for the title.
Lance Stroll - KF3
He could have been in the top 5
He was one of the pacesetters in every race and could have been in the top 5 at the end of the
weekend, if he hadn’t been penalized by electrical issues in the final, where he closed 12th.
He in fact had done a nice prefinal (A), placing 6th at the checkered. The chance to collect a
winning result will be in Zuera, on August 5th.
Dan Ticktum - KF3
He’s always with the best
He manages to qualify for the finals despite an
unlucky heat; then in the prefinal he surprises
everyone , scoring the 2nd best lap and closing
7th. He confirms his worth in the final too, closing
in a nice 13th spot that certifies his constant
progress, race after race.
Jinya Yamakawa - KF3
Few, but good races…
He makes steadiness his strength: 8th in the qualifyings, 6th
overall in the heats, 4th in his prefinal (B), 8th in the final
and consequently 8th also in the points count with one race
left to go in the championship. All he needs is the high note
of victory to take a step forward, but he’s got all the foot
action it takes.
He rarely participates in international-level
competitions, but when he does he always puts in
quality racing: always up front through the heats
(8th, 6th, 6th), he “pays” for an accident in one
race. No problem, because in his prefinal (A) the
Japanese driver closes 11th, thus qualifying for the
final. Here a contact forces him to withdraw, but
overall his weekend is more than positive.
Thiago Vivacqua – KF2
Fatal contacts
32nd in the qualifyings, in the heats he is often forced to
chase from the rear of the field: he makes it in 3 out of 5
heats (8th, 9th and 11th), but in the other two he is penalized
by contacts that exclude him from the final. Had he qualified,
he could have placed 15th-20th in the main race.
