Porto Rotondo, a hamlet of the municipality of Olbia, has approximately one thousand inhabitants. Its architecture reminds that of Venice thanks
to Luigi and Nicolò Donà dalle Rose, two Venetians who started to build it in 1964. No wonder that the main square is called Piazzetta San
Marco. The rest of the village was built around this original settlement.

Porto Rotondo, frazione del comune di Olbia, ha una popolazione residente di circa mille abitanti. La sua architettura ricorda
la struttura di Venezia, grazie ai veneziani Luigi e Nicolò Donà dalle Rose che nel 1964 ne avviarono la costruzione. La piazza
principale è stata denominata non a caso Piazzetta San Marco. Il resto del comprensorio si è aggregato attorno a questo nucleo
iniziale.
