Sono stati affrontati, inoltre, i seguenti argomenti:
«Where does pizza come from?» (fotocopia)
«Covent Garden Market» (lettura)
Si sono affrontati poi i seguenti argomenti: le origini della pizza, i vari tagli delle verdure. Parte del programma è
stata dedicata alla traduzione e al riassunto di brevi letture, oltre che alla composizione di semplici testi in lingua e
a esercizi di comprensione del testo. È stato poi svolto il ripasso di Present continuous, Past simple, Past
continuous, Present perfect, Passive form, Imperative, Modals (must, can, could, should, may, might), pronome
interrogativo Who, give and ask for advice, il futuro (will, be going to, present continuous), comparatives and
superlatives, subject and object questions. Alcuni studenti hanno svolto un approfondimento sulla cultura culinaria
molisana.
2 lezioni sono state inoltre dedicate alla letteratura, in copresenza con la prof.ssa Simone, sui seguenti argomenti:
«The Rime of the Ancient Mariner», by Samuel Taylor Coleridge (soprattutto versi 51-74 della parte I)
«The Raven», by Edgar Allan Poe (soprattutto versi 43-48, 67-72, 103-108).
