AL Anno scolastico: 2008/2009 In relazione alla programmazione curricolare sono stati conseguiti i seguenti obiettivi in termini di: CONOSCENZE: • • Conoscenza della lingua straniera, della sua grammatica e della sua organizzazione sintattica e lessicale. Conoscenza di movimenti letterari, autori e testi più significativi della letteratura inglese, dal PreRomanticismo all’epoca moderna. COMPETENZE: • • Competenza nell’uso della lingua straniera dal punto di vista della comprensione e produzione orale e scritta (vedi le quattro abilità linguistiche fondamentali). Sviluppo di una competenza letteraria tale da consentire di leggere un testo, comprenderlo e saper usare le procedure di analisi stilistica e di inserirlo nel suo contesto storico, sociale e letterario. CAPACITÀ: • Capacità di analisi, sintesi, argomentazione, rielaborazione personale e di effettuare collegamenti intra- e interdisciplinari ACQUISIZIONE DEGLI OBIETTIVI La conoscenza, competenza e capacità sono state sviluppate in misure diverse dagli alunni della classe che si presenta pertanto divisa nelle seguenti fasce: • • Studenti che hanno sviluppato abilità espositive abbastanza sicure che consentono loro di orientarsi tra gli argomenti, sapendo elaborare le conoscenze e facendo collegamenti tra autori e periodi Studenti che hanno sviluppato abilità espositive sufficienti o appena sufficienti e che hanno assimilato i contenuti della disciplina in modo prevalentemente lineare e mnemonico 2 • Studenti con una limitata competenza linguistica che hanno saputo colmare parte delle loro lacune solo nell’ultima parte dell’anno scolastico e che quindi possiedono una preparazione piuttosto superficiale ed approssimativa o in alcuni casi molto lacunosa. 1. Si è seguito poi uno sviluppo cronologico e cercando al tempo stesso di collegarsi alla realtà letteraria italiana. Lo studio degli autori è stato affrontato dando spazio, dopo una breve introduzione generale, all’analisi dei testi e all’esperienza diretta delle modalità espressive tipiche di ciascun poeta o scrittore, avendo la consapevolezza del fatto che gli studenti, dati gli inevitabili limiti del mezzo linguistico di cui dispongono, hanno potuto avvicinare ed apprezzare solo alcuni aspetti del complesso mondo creativo di ciascun autore. Nel processo di lettura ed apprezzamento dei testi si sono via via indagati gli avvenimenti più importanti della biografia dello scrittore, per passare da questi ai lineamenti essenziali degli avvenimenti culturali, sociali e storici ad essi legati o sottesi. Ove opportuno sono stati fatti confronti tra autori diversi e le tecniche espressive adoperate. TIPO DI ATTIVITA’ Al fine di ottimizzare il tempo a disposizione sono stati privilegiati prevalentemente la lezione frontale, la discussione, il lavoro individuale e di coppia. Sono stati assegnati esercizi per casa per facilitare l'apprendimento dei nuovi contenuti. MATERIALI E STRUMENTI DIDATTICI Oltre al libro di testo, il programma è stato arricchito con materiali tratti da varie fonti, cartacee e non. E’ stata effettuata una visita alla mostra “Turner e l’Italia” in relazione al Romanticismo. E' sempre stato consentito l'uso dei dizionarii monolingue e bilingue intesi come strumento attivo di arricchimento lessicale. L’attività di approfondimento è stata attuata tramite lezione frontali e organizzando specifiche attività per gruppi di studenti o per singoli studenti.
