Happy Father’ s Day to all the Fathers
FATHER’S DAY PRAYER
Bless, O Lord, my father!
Bless his long and active day.
Give him the strength to face the work
with serenity, to fulfill it with joy,
to conclude with satisfaction.
On his way back home let him find
peace and rest and in our affections
the best reward for his sacrifice.
Grant him, even for us,
a long life calmed with our affection.

Let us pray for the intentions of our Holy Father
during the month of June…..
General Intention: That a culture of dialogue, listening,
and mutual respect may prevail among peoples
Missionary Intention: That where secularization is
strongest, Christian communities may effectively promote a new evangelization.

PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS
ALL SAINTS REGIONAL
CATHOLIC SCHOOL
The foreign language Spanish students at ASR
have been very busy these last two semesters.
The students in the younger grades learned how
to count to forty in Spanish, and to use the numbers to solve simple math problems. They
learned about colors and shapes and created
some riddles using the vocabulary. The students
also learned the vocabulary associated with the
family and performed several dialogues. Our
older students learned how to conjugate several
verbs and use them in writing paragraphs. They
also went on a virtual shopping spree to Spain
and shopped at EL Corte Ingles. Their assignment was to outfit themselves from head to toe
and write brief descriptions of their purchases.
Also, students learned how to tell time using the
24 hr. clock. The students obtained a transportation schedule from a Hispanic country, and
learned the appropriate vocabulary to use when
traveling. By Gerri Galvani
