Progetto Ceuso
Ceuso is the land and its fruit, a story handed down through the ages. The vineyard is our winery.

After just three days, passing through Erice, near with young Sicilian “picciotti” (young men) the troops of Garibaldi clashed with the Bourbon army. The battle of Calatafimi: the first victory for The Thousand. And here is where Garibaldi uttered “We shall make Italy or we shall die”; here is where Italy was born.
Undefiled hills, clean agriculture, the bosom of the Elymian civilization that gave us the glorious Temple of Segesta (4th century B.C.) with its spectacular ancient theatre, still in use and amazingly well preserved.

Un grande siciliano!
Vini dʼItalia 2005
2009 Ceuso Ceuso Sicilia IGT - 90 pts.
A sanguine note of beef carpaccio is layered with flavors of cassis, grilled herb, fig cake, black licorice and dusty tannins. Taut and tight now, this sculpted red should benefit from air or short-term cellaring. Nero dʼAvola, Caber- net Sauvignon and Merlot. Best from 2017
through 2025. 833 cases made. -Alison Napjus
2010 Ceuso Ceuso Sicilia IGT - 88 pts.
“Dense and extracted, this features aromas of mature dark-skinned fruit, espresso and oak. The concentrated palate offers blackcurrant, cassis, roasted coffee bean and vanilla alongside bracing, astringent tannins. Drink after 2018.” -Kerin
OʼKeefe

The 2010 Fastaia wraps around the palate with juicy, expressive fruit. This Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot/Petit Verdot blend is soft, texured and beautifully balanced. Raspberry jam, spices, and sage linger on the full-bodied, intense finish.
