Con la fine del periodo di transizione,
la Somalia è entrata ora in una nuova
fase di rinnovamento.

Sheikh Mohamud è impegnato nella
ricostruzione di un Paese che è stato
dilaniato dalla guerra e dall’anarchia
per oltre vent’anni.
Discuteremo degli sviluppi delle
questioni politiche, della sicurezza
e della giustizia nella nuova
Somalia ma anche delle questioni
legate allo State building, al
federalismo
e
alla
nuova
costituzione, così come al dramma
della violenza sessuale nelle aree
ancora coinvolte dalla guerra.
Le loro priorità sono chiare e
comprendono aspetti chiave come la
sicurezza, la giustizia e la gestione
delle finanze pubbliche.
Il convegno discuterà del modo in cui
l’Italia ed il Regno Unito possono
sostenere il governo
Tutto ciò anche alla luce della
prossima Conferenza di Londra
sulla Somalia che si terrà il 7
maggio.
