From 15 to 18 February 2017, Kiev will be once again the
capital of Design thanks to the exhibition INTERIOR MEBEL
INTERIOR MEBEL has become a focal point for the design, furniture, lighting and
décor community: 4 exhibition days to show the market’s trends, the innovative
projects and the latest products to a more and more qualified and demanding
audience. About 13 000 visitors – among which 22% represented by distributors and showrooms and 25% by interior designers and architects – attended
the event and had the opportunity to appreciate the contemporary furniture and
design projects exhibited at the trend area, such as NEST by NOTT Design of
the architect Sergey Gotvyansky, the winner of ‘Interior of the Year’ 2015. This
area hosted the winners and finalists of the 2nd and 3rd tours of ‘Interior of the
Year’ contest as well as masterclasses held by the winners. Among the events
of the wide programme, the product design exposition by the Ukrainian Design
Union and ‘Design Lithuania’ project represented by Lithuanian Design Forum
and featuring the best of Lithuanian product design. The strong presence of lea-
ding Italian and International brands is synonymous of quality and creativeness
which are very well appreciated in Ukraine. The tradition of creating its own design project, the so-called ‘Auditorium’ will be taken over by the famous Ukrainian
architect Oleg Volosovsky at INTERIOR MEBEL Kiev 2017. Next year the trendsetter cluster and meeting point for architects, designers and clients will offer
an interesting program of conferences, master-classes and workshops, among
them the master-class of a Dutch designer from Eindhoven school of Design and
presentation of Artspace’s contest international jury’s member. The full program

The interior design platform INTERDEMA, a comprehensive virtual showcase
