CRESCE L’AFFETTO DEGLI EQUIPAGGI STRANIERI, CHE SARANNO BEN 21 AL VIA
TANTI NOMI IMPORTANTI ALL’EVENTO E LOTTA APERTA PER LA VITTORIA.
GREZZANA (VR) 28.10.2016 – È online l’elenco iscritti del 14° Revival Rally Club Valpantena. La
manifestazione di regolarità sport organizzata dal Rally Club Valpantena, classico appuntamento di fine
stagione, inizierà già giovedì 3 novembre con le verifiche sportiva/tecniche e la oramai immancabile
festa di apertura.
Tra i tanti equipaggi che anche quest’anno parteciperanno all’evento, vanno segnalate le numerose
presenze di piloti di ieri e di oggi che porteranno in gara autentici gioielli. “Lucky”-“Rudy”, binomio
leggendario del rallysmo italiano, saranno al via con l’oramai conosciuta Ferrari 308 GTB in livrea Olio Fiat
davanti ad un debuttante al Revival Valpantena, “Tony” che con Marco Verdelli porterà a Verona la Lancia
Rally 037 nella livrea “Goldie Italia” che lo ha visto correre e vincere negli anni d’oro della specialità.
Torneranno al Valpantena anche “Pedro” che con Roberta Antonelli guiderà una stupenda Lancia Delta
S4 ex ufficiale, così come lo spettacolare Franco Ceccato, assieme a Giuseppe Borgo, con la strepitosa
Fiat 131 “Quattro Rombi Corse”.
Come di consueto grandi protagoniste saranno le auto. Il numero 1 è stato assegnato ad un vero
capolavoro, l’Audio Quattro Sport S1 dell’equipaggio tedesco formato da Walter Mayer e Reinhold
Riemensperger. Questo esemplare della mostruosa quattro per quattro di Ingolstadt proviene direttamente
dal Museo Audi e porta con sé un pezzo di storia dell’epoca dei Gruppi B, ai quali il 14° Revival Rally Club
Valpantena dedica quest’anno un tributo. Saranno 13 le vetture di questo particolare periodo storico,
dove, oltre alle Delta S4 e alle Lancia Rally 037, sarà rappresentato anche il marchio Opel, con le Ascona
400 e quello Peugeot, grazie alla partecipazione di Kedward-Wiseman, con una rara e stupenda 205 T16.
Spicca l’elevata presenza di partecipanti stranieri, ben 21, provenienti da Regno Unito, Austria, Germania
e Repubblica Ceca. Un accenno speciale va a Petr e Martin Uhrik, che torneranno anche quest’anno con la
loro ŠKODA 1000 MB e partiranno con l’ultimo numero in 1 Divisione. Questa volta però, si tratta di un
esemplare da corsa nella livrea originale dell’epoca ŠKODA Motorsport, una piccola perla quasi introvabile in
Italia.
Occhio ovviamente ai tanti nomi che possono giocarsi la vittoria assoluta. Si parte da Andrea Giacoppo
e Daniela Tecioiu Grillone (Autobianchi A112 Abarth), freschi vincitori del Trofeo Tre Regioni, per poi
proseguire con Senna-Zaffani (Volkswagen Golf GTI), Mozzi-Biacca (Opel Kadett GTE) Lanier-D’Herin
(Lanca Fulvia HF), Coghi-Coghi (Opel Ascona 400) e Argenti-Amorosa (Porsche 911 T) tutti equipaggi che
si sono già messi in luce in questo appuntamento. Ovviamente ricco il parterre di outsiders illustri tra cui
Biasco-Biasco (Lancia Fulvia Sport 1.3), Ceriani-Ceriani (Lancia Fulvia Coupè), Salvetti-Spozio (Alfa
Romeo Junior GT), Pocobelli-Pocobelli (Porsche 911 S) e i tanti altri veronesi (ottanta equipaggi totali) che,
nella gara di casa per eccellenza, potrebbero giocare il jolly che vale una stagione.

THE FOREIGN CREWS ARE 21, AND MANY BIG NAMES WILL ATTEND THE EVENT.
VERY UNCERTAIN THE FIGHT FOR THE VICTORY.
GREZZANA (VR) 28/10/2016 - It is online the entry list of the 14 th Revival Rally Club Valpantena. The sport
regularity event organized by the Rally Club Valpantena will be the classic end of season and will start
already Thursday, November 3rd with scrutineerings and the traditional opening party.
Among the many crews that this year will attend the event, lots of italian famous drivers of Golden Age of
rallying. "Lucky"-”Rudy", the legendary duo of Italian rallying, will be at the start with the now famous Ferrari
308 GTB in livery Olio Fiat. "Tony" with Marco Verdelli will debut at Valpantena with a stunning beauty, the
Lancia Rally 037 in "Goldie Italia" livery. Will return at Valpantena also "Pedro" who with Roberta Antonelli will
drive a beautiful Lancia Delta S4 ex works, as well as the spectacular Franco Ceccato, together with
Giuseppe Borgo, with the amazing Fiat 131 "Quattro Rombi Corse".
As usual great protagonists will be the cars. The number 1 has been assigned to a real masterpiece, the
Audio Quattro Sport S1 driven by German crew formed by Walter Mayer and Reinhold Riemensperger. This
“monstre” car comes directly from Ingolstadt Audi Museum and carries a piece of Group B history, to which
the 14th Revival Rally Revival Club Valpantena is dedicating this year's tribute. 13 will be the cars of this
particular historical period: Delta S4, Lancia Rally 037, Opel Ascona 400 and the rare Peugeot 205 T16
driven by english gentleman crew Kedward-Wiseman.
Stands out the high presence of foreign participants, 21, from the UK, Austria, Germany and the Czech
Republic. A special mention goes to Petr and Martin Uhrik, who will be back this year with their ŠKODA 1000
MB and start with the last number in Division 1. This time, however, their car is a racing model in the original
ŠKODA Motorsport old livery, a small gem almost impossible to find in Italy.
Obviously eye to the many names that can fight for the overall victory. The most favourite are Andrea
Giacoppo and Daniela Tecioiu Grillone (Autobianchi A112 Abarth), fresh winners of the Trophy Three
Regions. The list continues with Senna-Zaffani (Volkswagen Golf GTI), Mozzi-Biacca (Opel Kadett GTE)
Lanier-D'Herin (Lanca Fulvia HF), Coghi-Coghi (Opel Ascona 400) and Argenti-Amorosa (Porsche 911 T) all
crews that have already scored great results in this appointment. Of course must be considered the rich
parterre of distinguished outsiders including Biasco-Biasco (Lancia Fulvia Sport 1.3), Ceriani-Ceriani (Lancia
Fulvia Coupe), Salvetti-Spozio (Alfa Romeo GT Junior), Pocobelli-Pocobelli (Porsche 911 S) and the many
other Verona's drivers (eighty total crews) that, in the home race for excellence, could play an important wild
card that to end the season in the best way possible.
