SPECIAL NOTICE: T h e new Federal tax law effective April 1 provides that t h e tax on concert tickets shall
be increased from 10 t o 20 per cent. Accordingly, the prices of M a y Festival tickets will continue until t h a t
date as follows: season tickets, $8.80, $7.70, and $6.60; individual concert t i c k e t s , $2.75, $2.20, $1.65,
and $1.10.
Beginning April 1, t h e prices, including the increased Federal tax, will b e : season tickets, $9.60, $8.40,
and $7.20; individual concert tickets, $3.00, $2.40, $1.80, and $1.20. Checks should be made payable to
the University Musical Society and mailed to Charles A. Sink, President, Burton Memorial Tower, Ann Arbor,
Michigan.
