L'Associazione Italiana Aquilonisti - AIA è stata creata con lo sco
po di favorire i contatti tra gli amanti degli AQUILONI, principianti o esperti,
e di stimolarne la pratica secondo uno spirito che escluda ogrii idea di competizione, di record o di dirnostrazione spett,acolare.
Per le persone residenti in Italia la quota associativa, fissata per il 1904 in
inteskatn
aIl'A1.ALire 20.000, può essere versata sul c/c postale 54357009:
Per le persone residenti all'estero, essa è di Lire 25.000, da pagare in bancono
te, vaglia internazionale o Eurochèque all'ordine AIA -0verseas membership is
25.000 It-Lira or 15 $US in banknotes, the cheapest way-. L'iscrizione si rinnova
il lo gennaio di ogni anno.
Le attività dell'Associazione Italiana Aquilonisti comprendono,
tra
l'altro:
- la pubblicazione quadrimestrale del bollettino CERVI VOLANTI, aperto a tutti i
soci desiderosi di porre domande, di rispondere ad altri soci, di descrivere le
loro creazioni, di commentare e/o annunciare avvenimenti che abbiano legame con
l'aquilonismo. Inoltre il Bollettino pubblicherà articoli storici, tecnici o
letterari e fornirà la documentazione pratica per la realizzazione di progetti
aquilonistici;
- l'invio di circolari per l'annuncio di comunicazioni urgenti;
- lo scambio di informazioni con le altre associazioni aquilonistiche del mondo;
- stimolare la consuetudine di incontri di volo 'sul campo' almeno una volta al
mese in vari posti d'Italia, a seconda della consistenza dei gruppi locali: per
gli aquilonisti osbitanti su Roma, il primo sabato del mese a Villa P a r n p h i l i ;
- partecipare a dei raduni 'en plein air' e organizzare il grande raduno annuale
forse unica occasione per incontrarsi tutti in questa lunga Italia.

Per riassumerti brevemente la a i a storia di 'giovane' aquilonista ti
dirò che, d a ragazzi, l'aquilone era il nostro divertimento. Nel maggio scorso, in occasione della
inaugurazione di una nuova Parrocchia nel nostro quartiere e, considerato che nella zona ci sono divrrs e classi elementari, e quindi molti bashini, ho pensato di istituire in collaborazione con il Diretto
r e Didattico, dei
corsi tendenti ad insegnare ai bambini (età media 10-13 anni) la costruzione degli
aquiloni fatti per intero con le loro sani (taglio della carta, preparazione dei bastoncini, ecc.).
L'iniziativa ha avuto successo pieno tant'è che iolti ragazzi si sono riuniti in gruppi per costruir e aquiloni "a sorpresan.
Visto pertanto l'interesse suscitato ho pensato bene, un pò anche per mio
divertimento personale, di allargare i1 campo dei modelli d a costruire. Siamo pertanto un pò tutti in
attesa del venticello primaverile c h e faccia alzare anche le nostre speranze.

Article ler : Le Cerf-Volant Club de Prance organise un concours de photo aérienne par cerf-volant
pendant la période comprise entre le ler janvier
1984 et le 31 décembre 1984.
Article 2 : Les concurrents devront adresser avant
le 31 décembre 1984 (cachet de l a poste faisant
foi) :
A - Au moins deux photos aériennes et au maximum
quatre au format impérativernent P8 x 24 cm. (noir
et blanc ou couleur ) . Sur une des photos devra
figurer la corde de retenue jusqu'h son point
dlattache au sol.
B
Une attestation déclarant sur l'honneur que les
photos ont étk prises par cerf-volant pendant la
durée du concours.
C
Un bref rapport : date, lieu, hauteur approximative de la prise de vue.
D - Une courte description du matériel enpioyé :
cerf-volant, marque et format de l'appareil et
une photo de l'appareil suspendu.
Article 3 : Toute photo réalisée avec u n objectif

viendront récompenser l'ensemble de tous les participants suivant leur mérite.

pour la promotion du cerf-volant. I1 reste entendu qu'en cas de publication dans l a presse les
auteurs conservent les droits de reproduetion.

L'Uomo era felice come non era rnai stato; uri senso di onnipotenza lo pervadeva, teneva saldamente il filo tra le mani e
le vibrazioni di quest,'ultimonella quiete del Paradiso Terres

s i c a , oltre quella degli uccelli, che fosse mai stata udita.
L ' U o m o aveva i n v e n t a t o l.'aquilone!
Presto egli prese a costruire oggetti piìl perfetti, sostenuti
da stecchette che ricavava dai piìl teneri e flessibili ramo-

scelli, strutture portanti per le foglie piG leggere e resistenti che andava scegliendo una ad una, I'rampando" da ramo in ramo, da albero in albero, in mezzo al fitto dei boschi.
L'Uomo prese ad avvolgere il filo intorno a bastoncelli corti e regolari con i quali
in modo ordinato dava cavo e io ritirava, a suo piacere e secondo le esigenze del ven
to. Il gioco lo aveva preso così intimamente che non si occupava più di altro che del
la costruzione e del "lancio" di nuovi e perfetti aquiloni.
Dio dall'alto dei cieli osservava incredulo e curioso l'Uomo che aveva a disposiz.ione
tutto il Creato e che trascorreva il proprio tempo a riempire i cie1.i con i suoi aggeg
gi volanti da lui medesimo inventati! Lo prese un senso di stizza e volle di.stcrglier
lo da quel "sogno" con un altro con esso competitivo e, per certi versi, ancora più
esclusivo.
Un giorno l'uomo, destandosi dal suo sonno, trovò, accanto a sè una D o n n a dalla pelle
bianca e morbida, dai lunghi capelli di seta, dalla voce dolce e suadente, dagli occhi neri e profondi nei cui abissi egli non tardò a perdersi, dimenticando tiitto quan
to lo aveva finora interessato.
Ora l'Uomo, in compagnia della Donna, riscopriva tutto ciò che lo circondava. I fiori
diventavano preziosi bouquets profumati da offrire all'arnata o corone e collane colorate con cui intrecciare i capelli ed ornare l'esile collo.
Le scene del Creato, le erbe, i tramonti, il mare, i monti, le infinite campagne erano
quadri indimenticabili da contemplare insieme a lungo; il canto degli uccelli melodiosi concerti da ascoltare, rapiti, in silenzio.
La presenza della Donna risvegliava nell'uorno un desiderio di sensazioni nuove e scodell'nquilone
nosciute e ricacciava nel subconscio l'idea di libertà che l'ii-ìvenzioi~e
aveva simboleggiato. I due interrompevano la l-oro estasi solo per gustare a sazietà e
con ingordigia i frutti maturi, tutti a loro disposizione tranne uno severamente proibito.
Poi, come tutti sanno, vi fu l'incidente dell'Albero del Bene e del Male che dimostrò
come sia l'Uomo che la Donna o tutti e due insieme non si contentassero di godere di
una felicità e di uri'idea di libertà cii cui non fossero artefici.
L'Uomo e la Donna furono cacciati in malo modo dal Paradiso Terrestre e finirono sulla nostra terra dove si trovarono a superare, con strenui sforzi,le innumerevoli difficoltà cui andarono incontro. I loro volti conobbero l'angoscia e la tristezza, i lo
ro corpi la vergogna, la fatica ed il dolore, ma conobbero anche la gioia del loro amore ed i suoi frutti.
L'Uomo e la Donna presero ad allevare ed educare i propri figli: l'Uomo si trovò a co
struire giochi raffiguranti le cose che lo circondavano: cavallini, carrettini, barchette, bamboline, utensili domestici in miniatura. Infine ricordò il suo ineffabile
trastullo, l'aquilone, non richiamante nessuno degli oggetti comuni della vita dome-

come la fenice, il falco, l'aquila, il pavone, la rondine, il
pappagallo, il pipistrello, la grù; insetti noti e di-ffusi come

l'ape, il grillo, la cavalletta o seinplici, astratte ed eterne forme geometriche.
I Giapponesi, oltre che di pesci VOI-antie di uccelli, popolavano i cieli di facce
buffe e feroci, di servi fedeli, guerrieri o re degli inferi. In E~iropaapparvero l'ar
co inglese, la pera francese, la losanga, il pipistrel1.0, il quadrato russo, il drago
cecoslovacco e quello tedesco, l'uccello scozzese.
Dio fu curioso allora di vedere come la Donna avesse reagito nei confronti delllUomo
aquilonista e , volgendo lo sguardo alla Storia, ne vide in tutte le epoche, vcstite
nelle foggie più disparate, a fianco degli nomini o treplde vicino ai fanciulli, sui
prati, in aperta campagna, sui colli o in riva al mare.
Poi il suo occhio attento, andando in giì~e in sÙ per il Tempo, si fermò a contemplare una scena singolare, ambientata ne1l.a Firenze del Rinascimento: l'atelier di Leonar
do da Vinci, il più geniale artista del suo tempo. I1 pittore di fronte alla tela,p+
sta nella giusta luce, vicino alle antpie vetrate, a ritrarre con tocchi lievi, ma sicu
