Abstract
GENERAL INFORMATION
XX
Abstract must be received no later than July 31, 2010,
11:59 p.m., CDT. Abstract submission will be via Internet,
following the instruction reported on the Society website at
www.sicch.it. (SEND AN ABSTRACT).
The Scientific Committee will select the abstracts and confirm
acceptance (oral or poster presentation) by e-mail, within
September 15th, 2010. The presentation of the scientific contribution will be subjected to the registration to the Meeting.
Oral presentations will have a maximum allocated time of 6
minutes, plus 3 minutes for discussion. The chairman will be
required to strictly adhere to these time limits.
Further information regarding audio communication, video
and poster presentations will be available on the Society website (www.sicch.it).
Video
The surgical video may not exceed 5 minutes, and be Windows® compatible.
All surgical videos must be submitted in .mpeg, or .mpg fileextension, on a CD/DVD disk.
To send a Video please follow the instruction reported on the
Society website at www.sicch.it. (SEND A VIDEO).
The Italian Contribution to
Cardiovascular Medicine and Surgery
During the Meeting, an update of the “Historical Videos
�����������
Opera” will be presented by Dr. R. Lorusso and by Dr. G. Actis
Dato.
The XXV National Meeting of the Italian Society for
Cardiac Surgery will be held in Rome at the Hotel
Rome Cavalieri, via A. Cadlolo n°101, from the 6th to
the 9th of November 2010.
Registration
The registration should be preferably made in advance
by sending the Organizing Secretariat the registration
form duly completed. The registration form can
be downloaded from the web site at www.sicch.it.
Registration fees can be found on the same website.
The term for pre-registration, which will be free of charge
for the Members of the Society in regular with their
annual membership fee, will be June 30th, 2010.

Hotel booking
Requests for Hotel accommodation must be made by
filling out the accommodation form available online at
www.sicch.it and returning it duly completed to the
Organizing Secretariat.
CME
The Italian Ministry of Health has included the Meeting
in the National Program for Continuous Medical
Education and will award credits. CME certification
will be released in compliance to the Ministry of Health
procedures.
