Embryological Bases of Surgery “EMBRYOLOGICAL BASES OF SURGERY” is a LIVE SURGERY AND MULTIMEDIAL INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP for physicians who desire to improve their knowledge on the embryology and on the surgical anatomy of the pelvis and of the aortic space in order to apply them at their daily surgical activity. The program is divided into three sessions, each of them includes: INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP EMBRYOLOGICAL BASES OF SURGERY Hot Topic Lectures: on the embryologic development of the female pelvis and the sub mesocolic and supramesocolic space, correlated to the emerging issues in gynecology oncology surgery (sentinel node, limphatics mapping, HIPEC) Live Surgery commented by a panel of experts. During the sessions, 4 live surgical operations will be performed for the surgical staging of gynecologic malignancies. Crossfire debate in slow motion: A panel of skilled surgeons will analyze in slow motion the best times of surgical movies. Teaching materials (movies of operation on DVD) will be distributed to anyone who requires it.
