La conoscenza delle esigenze specifiche legate alla realizzazione dei pavimenti per l’industria chimica, farmaceutica e
cosmetica non si improvvisa.
Noi abbiamo maturato un know-how specialistico che si
fonda sul rispetto di indispensabili caratteristiche di prodotto
quali: massima igiene, facilità di pulizia e sanificazione, alta
resistenza chimica-fisica.
In questi settori, gli ambienti di lavoro possono avere funzioni
diverse (camera bianca, produzione, stoccaggio, ecc) ma
l’intera filiera deve poter contare su standard di sicurezza
costanti e conformi alle normative, in modo tale che ciò
che viene prodotto non venga mai a contatto con fonti
potenzialmente contaminati (polveri, batteri, sporco).
Per questo, in collaborazione con affermate industrie chimicofarmaceutiche e cosmetiche, abbiamo sviluppato soluzioni
che garantiscono le più elevate prestazioni in termini di
riduzione delle cariche batteriche, inattaccabilità dalle muffe,
dissipazione delle cariche elettrostatiche, impermeabilità,
resistenza sia alle aggressioni chimiche (acide e basiche) sia

of flooring for the chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics
industry cannot be improvised.
We have built up a specialized know-how based on the
compliance with essential product characteristics such as:
maximum hygiene, ease of cleaning and sanitization and
high chemical-physical resistance.
The functions of the work areas in these sectors may vary
(clean room, production and storage areas etc.) but the
entire production chain has to be sure of constant safety
standards which are compliant with the rules and regulations
so that the products never come into contact with potentially
contaminated sources (powders, bacteria, dirt).
For this reason, together with consolidated chemicalpharmaceutical and cosmetics industries we have developed
solutions which guarantee the highest performance with
regard to a reduction of the bacterial loads, mould resistance,
dissipation of electrostatic loads, water-tightness, resistance
against both chemical aggressions (acids and bases) and
shocks, abrasion and moving loads.
Our objective is to design resin coatings which maintain the
integrity and stability of the conditions so that all phases of
the production cycle, from the raw material to the range of

These departments are considered the nervous centre of
companies in this sector.
It is here where all the activities involving the greatest chemical
and physical stress are carried out. The structure of the
operational spaces may vary based on the type and nature of

Le clean rooms, in italiano camere bianche, sono stanze in
cui l’aria è molto pura, avendo un ridottissimo contenuto di
microparticelle di polvere in sospensione, addirittura inferiore
rispetto a una sala operatoria.

Clean rooms are rooms in which the air is very pure with
a content of suspended micro dust particles which is even
lower that that of an operating theatre. These extremely pure
rooms with a controlled atmosphere are used as chemical,
mechanical and electronic laboratories.

I laboratori svolgono un ruolo centrale nell’industria chimico,
farmaceutica e cosmetica. Spazi deputati alla ricerca,
all’analisi e al controllo, effettuano misurazioni accuratissime,
diverse a seconda della natura della materia da trattare.

La produzione degli imballi, lo stoccaggio e la movimentazione

sollecitazioni meccaniche (urti, transito veicolare, ecc) ma

The production of packaging materials and the storage and
handling of finished products within chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics companies must be carried out in areas in
which the flooring is safe and resistant not only to mechanical
stress (shocks, vehicle transit etc.) but also chemical stress (accidental breakages, detergents etc.).
We guarantee a perfect result on both new surfaces and over
existing flooring.
Anche nelle aziende chimiche, farmaceutiche e cosmetiche
ci sono aree aperte al pubblico o non direttamente collegate
alle attività di produzione e di laboratorio. Sono zone come

Case History. ACS Dobfar
La nostra attività con ACS Dobfar, tra le prime cinque aziende chimiche farmaceutiche nel mondo, inizia nel 2002 ed
ha interessato le tre principali sedi in Lombardia: Vimercate,
Albano S. Alessandro e Sesto Ulteriano.
Le pre-esistenti pavimentazioni erano in calcestruzzo, variamente trattate con verniciature e/o vecchie superfici in resina
a multistrato.
Our business relationship with ACS Dobfar which ranks
amongst the five most important chemical-pharmaceutical
companies in the world began in 2002 and involved the
three major locations in Lombardy, Italy: Vimercate, Albano
S. Alessandro and Sesto Ulteriano.
The existing flooring was in concrete. It had undergone
various treatments using paints and several layers of resin.
Più che un isolato caso di successo, il nostro intervento con
ACS Dobfar è diventata una fattiva collaborazione basata
su due precise richieste operative:
Rather than an isolated success story, the work we carried
out for ACS Dobfar has become an effective collaboration
based on two precise operational requirements:

non bloccare la produzione (abbiamo lavorato spesso
durante le feste natalizie e ad Agosto).
mantenere l’uniformità (abbiamo utilizzato in questi anni
lo stesso colore verde RAL 6027).
I problemi da risolvere e le soluzioni applicate hanno coinvolto
una varietà di ambienti ciascuno con peculiari caratteristiche
e necessità: dai reparti produzione ai magazzini, dalle zone
di essicazione ai locali pesatura, etc.
Per la sede di Vimercate, ad esempio, nel locale di
essiccamento, magazzino e locale Sie (superficie totale circa
650 mq), nel tempo record di 5 giorni abbiamo steso un
rivestimento ideale per un traffico medio-elevato e con buone
caratteristiche meccaniche ed estetiche.
Successivamente sotto le cappe a flusso laminare verticale
nei magazzini materie prime e prodotti finiti è stato fatto
un lavoro di riempimento e sistemazione nelle zone delle
bilance, con un rivestimento impermeabile ad alta resistenza
meccanica e chimica, recuperando pendenze e planarità su
pavimentazioni vecchie e fessurate.
Nelle altre due sedi di Albano S. Alessandro e Sesto
Ulteriano sono state ristrutturate superfici problematiche (più di
900 mq) con sistemi di rivestimento autolivellanti, in grado di
sopportare forti sollecitazioni fisiche e chimiche, e fornire un
gradevole impatto visivo.
Sono stati utilizzati sia sistemi ecologici a base d’acqua che
tradizionali, scelti secondo specifiche performance.
Dove necessario abbiamo provveduto a preparare il fondo
con operazioni di molatura e pallinatura sigillando le crepe,
con tecniche collaudate ma non tradizionali.
Con ACS Dobfar il nostro è un work in progress che ci
permette di risolvere problemi sempre nuovi e aggiornare le
nostre competenze.

The problems faced and the solutions applied involved
different areas, each having its own particular characteristics
and requirements: from the production departments to the
warehouses, the drying rooms to the weighing rooms etc.
At the location in Vimercate, for example, in the drying room,
warehouse and Sie room (total surface area 650 square
meters), in the record time of 5 days we laid a coating
suitable for a medium-high transit level with good mechanical
characteristics which is pleasing to the eye.
Subsequently, below the vertical laminar flow hoods in the
warehouses for raw materials and finished products, and
in the weighing areas, a waterproof coating with a high
mechanical and chemical resistance was applied over the
old, cracked flooring to achieve a perfectly flat surface.
In the other two locations in Albano S. Alessandro and Sesto
Ulteriano, self-levelling coating was applied over problematic
surfaces (covering over 900 square meters), which can
withstand heavy physical and chemical stress and is pleasing
to the eye.
Both ecological water-based systems and traditional
systems were used depending on the specific performance
requirements.
Where necessary we prepared the base by grinding and
shot-peening the existing flooring to seal the cracks, using
approved but not traditional methods.
We have an ongoing working relationship with ACS Dobfar
which allows us to solve any new problems which occur and
constantly improve our know-how.

Italia suggests two solutions of perimetrical gauges:
SguscioPlast - Elastoplastico realizzato direttamente con
formulati in pasta nelle varie misure, con un raggio di 2,3,5
cm e successivamente riverniciabile con la stessa tonalità del
pavimento.
SguscioPlast - realized with paste formulas available in
different sizes, radius diameter 2,3,5 cm that can be then
painted with the same colour of the floor.
Sguscio System - Speciali sgusci prefabbricati in
vetroresina con zoccolatura ad altezza variabile in grado di
coprire disomogeneità di pareti e fornire resistenza ai colpi
generati da trans pallet e dai carrelli, il raggio è disponibile
solo da 2 cm. Colore in tinta col pavimento.

plastic reinforced by incorporated fiberglass with wainscot at
a variable height able to cover fissures, holes on walls and to
resist to strokes caused by trolleys and transpallets. Available
