Wroclaw's Copernicus Airport is located on Strachowice (Wroclaw, ul. Skarzynskiego 36), 12km west of the
centre of town
Aeroporto: Bus No. 406 operates every 20 minutes everyday to/from the Central Railway/Coach Station.
You can get to the airport easily enough from town on the 406 bus (from ul. Dworcowa, 100m North of the
main train station). It takes 20 minutes and runs twice every hour, so leave a little time

Per raggiungere l'aeroporto (situato a circa 10 km dal centro ) c'è il bus 406, il cui capolinea è Ulica Dworcowa,
proprio di fronte la stazione ferroviaria PKP Wroclaw Glowny (centrale). In pratica uscendo dalla stazione,
girare a destra, attraversare la strada al semaforo dove c'è la Posta (Poczta) e si è in Ulica Dworcowa.

Posto descritto come da guida, carino,senza pretese e a suo modo romantico.Studenti e soprattutto giovani
affollano il ristorante,dove le razioni sono abbondanti e il servizio dei ragazzi veloce e molto informale ad un
prezzo buono. Ho fatto fatica a finire lo stinco, buonissimo, ordinato dopo un antipasto al lardo, una porzione
per famiglia. I camerieri sono giovanissimi e cosi' credo il cuoco ,intravvisti sbirciando dal mio tavolo in cucina.
Se si arriva dopo le 21 e' meglio prenotare poiche' ho visto parecchi tavoli con la scritta riservato.
Ottimo in tutto. Porzioni abbondantissime quindi evitate primo e secondo a meno che nn siate sfondati avrete
difficoltà. Nn nella zona supet turistica frequentato anche da gente del posto. Andate sicuri!!
Il ristorante si trova in una traversa della piazza del mercato, priva del viavai tipico del centro di Wroclaw.
L'ambiente è rustico ma decisamente accogliente: entrati con nostra figlia di 6 mesi, ci hanno trovato un posto
in una saletta per evitare il chiasso alla piccola e ci hanno immediatamente fornito un bel seggiolone.
E vai con i piatti: Pierogi fino allo sfinimento, con carne e crauti per me, formaggio per mia moglie... delizie,
delizie, delizie.
E arriva il secondo, che può tranquillamente essere preso come piatto unico perché giunge al tavolo composto di
default da insalatona e patate fritte. Si trattava di una maxi cotoletta di maiale con pancetta affumicata:
SUBLIME! Ero stracolmo ma l'ho finita perché sarebbe stato un enorme peccato abbandonarla in solitudine sul
piatto.
Quanto sopra era condito da acqua e birra per un prezzo totale di 80 PLN... 20 euretti circa!

Transport from airport to city
Bus 210 — operates between the airport and Gdansk, and makes a stop at the train station, 35-50 minutes away.
The fare is 3 zł if a ticket is bought from a news stand or Bilety shop, and 3,40 zł if the ticket is bought from the
driver. Note that although the ticket has a picture of a tram on it, it is also valid for the bus. Make sure to get on
in the right direction at the airport, because the bus goes into two directions from there. On the way to the
airport, the bus picks up on the other side of the road, near the front of the Scandic hotel (look for the signs that
have the 210 on them). From the tourist office in the tunnel, turn left, walk until you are outside and head right,
go up the stairs, turn right, and the bus shelters will be in front of you.
The centre of Gdansk is very compact and almost everything is accessible on foot, the trams seem to go around
the old town so none run through it. Trams and buses are cheap (3 zł/h) and frequent. Tickets can be bought
from the driver at trams. Locals are keen to help with directions but always ask several people and see if they
agree.

Tickets are based on travel time, so you need to estimate the duration of the journey or have a few
tickets extra to check when the previous expired. The tickets are stamped in machines on the buses.

There is a 24 hr ticket (9.10 zł) valid on all trams, buses during the day and on night buses.
•Use the commuter train (SKM) to quickly go to Sopot and Gdynia, ticket to Gdynia will cost 5 zł and
Sopot will cost 3.40 zł.
