This Consulate General will issue visas only to applicants residing in the above territory. - C - HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION BY MAIL OR BE REPRESENTED BY SOMEONE: THIS OFFICE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REQUEST A MANDATORY PERSONAL APPEARANCE OF THE APPLICANT AT ANY TIME DURING THE VISA’S PROCESS. This Office takes no responsibility for loss or damage of your passport or documents. If you decide to apply by mail, or be represented, in order to avoid delays of the visa’s process or refusal of your application, you must submit your application according to the general information integrated by the following procedures: 1. Signatures on the application and on affidavit forms must be notarized. 2. Supporting documents must be submitted in original and photocopy (submission of only original or only photocopies will cause the refusal of the entire application package). 3. Passport and original documents will be returned exclusively by prepaid and preaddressed ‘Express Mail’ envelo pes by the U.S. Postal Service. We reserve the right to disregard any other form of postage or carrier. PLEASE BE INFORMED THAT TO PROCESS YOUR APPLICATION IT MAY TAKE 30 DAYS, DEPENDING ON THE TIME OF THE YEAR DURING WHICH YOU APPLY. - D - COST OF THE VISA: Payable by money order only to the Italian Consulate. Visa fee may vary every 3 months according to the fluctuation of the exchange rate.
