RINGRAZIAMENTI
Un ringraziamento particolare al nostro Giudice dall’Inghilterra Mr. Tony
Brindley (Cabrindle) per la sua disponibilità e per condividere con noi la
sua conoscenza sulla razza.
Ringraziamo il Comune di Lesmo (MB) per aver ospitato e patrocinato
l’evento.

Grazie ai ragazzi del SBT Sporting Club Italia e non, che hanno donato il
loro tempo e lavoro fin dall’anno scorso per cercare di rendere indimenticabile questa giornata.

PROGRAMMA DELLA GIORNATA
Il programma della giornata si svolgerà nel seguente modo:
L’entrata dell’evento è dalle 8,30. Entro le 9,30 i cani dovranno essere
misurati per la competizione sportiva.
L’inizio dei giudizi sarà alle 10.00.
L’assistente di ring chiamerà i numeri corrispondenti alla classe “Puppy
maschi” per poi continuare con tutte le categorie dei maschi.
Nel frattempo nella zona esterna adiacente al ring dello show, è allestita
la parte dedicata allo sport, nella quale in mattinata dovranno recarsi
tutte le femmine iscritte alla competizione sportiva per partecipare alle
attività.
Terminati i giudizi dei maschi e i relativi spareggi nel ring dello show,
questi potranno passare alle attività sportive.
Alla fine delle attività e dei giudizi se l’orario lo permetterà ci riuniremo
per il seminario con il giudice, in caso contrario la convention sarà rimandata a cena, dove potrete ancora discutere di SBT.
Confidiamo sul vostro aiuto affinchè la giornata sia piacevole per tutti i
partecipanti.

Dettagli delle cucciolate allevate e stalloni di proprietà: 6 cucciolate allevate (da 6 femmine). Due stalloni di proprietà.
Esperienza espositiva: 30 anni, in modo approfondito, in tutta la Gran
Bretagna con 9 S.B.T. che vivevano in casa più qualcuno allevato in
comproprietà.
I migliori successi avuti sono stati con Ch. Caravella Queen e poi con
Cabrindle Bullet.
Assistente di Ring: molti anni per la Canine Societies Open Shows, alcuni come Best in Show.
Molti anni per Potteries S.B.T.C. e come Show Manager per 3
anni presso Potteries S.B.T.C.

REGOLAMENTO SHOW
(Campionato valido per il Campione Sociale dello SBT SCI)
Art. 1
Sono ammessi a partecipare tutti i cani di razza Staffordshire Bull Terrier
con regolare pedigree FCI o di altri paesi riconosciuti.
Art. 2
Sono obbligatorie l’iscrizione all’anagrafe canina e la regolarità del libretto sanitario del cane.
Art. 3
Il giudizio del giudice è insindacabile e non impugnabile.
Art. 4
E’ vietata l’iscrizione del cane in più classi.
Art. 5
Le classi sono:
Puppy (da 3 a 6 mesi)
Juniores (da 6 a 9 mesi)
Giovani (dai 9 ai18 mesi)
Intermedia (dai 15 ai 24)
Libera (dai 15 mesi in poi)
Veterani (dai 7 anni in poi)
Fuori concorso (in questa classe non verranno rilasciate né qualifiche né
classifiche)
Art. 6
Le qualifiche attribuite sono:
Eccellente, Molto Buono, Buono, Sufficiente, Molto promettente, Promettente, Squalificato.
In nessun caso verrà restituita la quota di iscrizione.
Art. 7
Gli espositori devono entrare nel proprio ring appena chiamati dal commissario di ring, attraverso il proprio numero consegnato la mattina
dell’evento all’ingresso ad ogni partecipante. I cani assenti al momento
della chiamata non avranno più la possibilità di essere giudicati e non
verrà rimborsata la quota di scrizione.
Art. 8
Non saranno giudicati e di conseguenza non rimborsati i cani che abbiano subito truccature, i cani monorchidi, criptorchidi (se non in classe
fuori concorso), i soggetti malati o debilitati, i cani di età diversa da quella
scritta sulla scheda d’iscrizione, le femmine in evidente stato di gravidanza o lattazione e in calore.
Art. 9
Tutti i cani dovranno avere guinzaglio e collare (o pettorina), se mordaci
di museruola.
E’ vietato far stazionare gli animali soli, all’interno di automobili, carrelli,
rimorchi...I proprietari devono garantire acqua e cibo ai propri animali e
sono obbligati a raccogliere le deiezioni, pena l’allontanamento immediato dall’esposizione. E’ vivamente consigliato l’uso del trasportino.
Art. 10
Le classi di partecipazione verranno chiamati tramite numero seguendo
l’ordine a catalogo, partendo dalla classe “Puppy maschi”. I numeri verranno chiamati non più di 3 volte, dopodichè verranno ritenuti assenti.
Art. 11
Tra i primi di ogni classe verrà indetto il miglior maschio e la miglior femmina, nelle categorie puppy, yuniores, giovani verrà assegnato il titolo
di “Best”, concorrono per il BOB e BOS i primi maschi e femmine delle
seguenti categorie: Giovani, Intermedia, Libera, Veterani.
Il giudice valuterà la miglior condizione fisica tramite la premiazione
come “Best Condition”
Art. 12
I premi assegnati e non ritirati il giorno stesso dell’evento verranno acquisiti dal SBT SCI per essere messi in palio alla prossima manifestazione.
Art. 13
Ingresso e ammissione al pubblico
L’entrata degli espositori è prevista dalle ore 8,30 alle ore 9,30 ore 10
inizio giudizi ring con i puppy maschi.
Entrata pubblico: dopo le 10.
Art. 14
Il comitato organizzatore declina ogni responsabilità per fatti causati a
persone e animali per tutta la durata dell’evento, relativi a furto, fuga,
malattia, morte, morsi afflitti dai cani ecc. I cani pericolosi non sono ammessi. Gli espositori sono i soli responsabili dei danni causati dai propri
cani. Ogni danno a cose e animali della struttura, saranno addebitati al
diretto responsabile.

SHOW RULES
(Competition valid for the SBT SCI champion)
Art. 1
Candidates are eligible by all purebred dogs Staffordshire Bull Terrier
with regular FCI pedigree or other countries recognized.
Art. 2
Enrollment in the canine registry and the regularity of the healt card of
the dog are obligatory.
Art. 3
The verdict of the judge is unquestionable and unappealable.
Art. 4
Registration of a dog in more than one class is forbidden.
Art. 5
classes are divided in:
Puppy (3 to 6 mounths)
Junior (6 to 9 months)
Youth (9 to 18 months )
Intermediate (15 to 24 mounths)
Open (from 15 months onwards)
Veterans (ages 7 years and older)
Out of competition (in this class will not be released neither qualifications
nor charts)
Art. 6
The qualifications awarded are:
Excellent, Very Good, Good, Sufficient, Very promising, Promising, Disqualified.
under no circumstances the registration fee will be refunded.
Art. 7
Exhibitors must enter his own ring just when they are called by the Commissioner of the ring, through its number delivered to each participant
in the morning of the event at the entrance. Dogs absent at the call will
not have the opportunity to be judged and their inscription fee will not be
refunded.
Art. 8
Will not be judged and therefore not reimbursed those dogs who have
suffered makeup, monorchid dogs, cryptorchid dogs (if not in class “out
of competition”), the sick or debilitated subjects, dogs older than that
written on the registration form, pregnant or lactating females and in heat.
Art. 9
All dogs must be on a leash and collar (or harness) and, if biting, muzzled.
it is severely forbidden to leave dogs alone in car, carts, trailers ...
Owners have to provide food and water to their animals and must collect
their excreta, under penalty of immediate removal from the exposure.
E ‘strongly recommended the use of the carrier.
Art. 10
The classes of participation will be called by number following the order
in the catalog, starting with the “Puppy males” class. Numbers will be
called no more than 3 times, then they will be considered absent.
Art. 11
Among the first of each class will be called the best male and best female, in the categories Puppy, Junior and Youth will be awarded the title of
“Best”, the first male and female of the categories Youth, Intermediate,
Open and Veterans will compete for the BOB and BOS.
The judge will consider the best physical condition through the award as
“Best Condition”
Art. 12
Prizes awarded and not collected in the same day of the event will be
acquired by SBT SCI and they be up for grabs at the next event.

Art. 14
The organizing committee declines any responsibility for any trouble
caused to people and animals for the entire duration of the event, relating to theft, escape, illness, death, bitten by dogs etc. Dangerous dogs
are not allowed. Exhibitors are solely responsible for the damages caused by their dogs. Any damage to property and animals of the structure,
will be charged to the person responsible.

REGOLAMENTO GIORNATA SPORTIVA
PESO CANI CHE COMPETONO:
Il peso del cane sarà effettuato tramite bilancia digitale per cani oppure se questa non fosse disponibile il proprietario peserà il proprio peso
corporeo (B) e poi si peserà tenendo in braccio il proprio cane (A), la
differenza tra i pesi A e B determinerà il peso del cane.
Il proprietario / conduttore gestirà il cane. L’organizzazione registrerà il
peso sul modulo di registrazione, se il giudice sarà d’accordo sulla pesata sarà registrato quel peso.
Il peso misurato dovrà essere misurato in ogni evento.
MISURA ALTEZZA:
Quando un cane ha raggiunto l’età di 18 mesi riceverà le relative misurazioni finali.
Essendo la misurazione dei cani un’operazione di precisione e soggetta
a piccole variazioni che possono determinare una diversa classe di appartenenza, ogni cane dovrà essere misurato per tre volte nel torneo in
cui compete, la media delle tre altezze determinerà la misura del cane
nel torneo in cui partecipa.
Il cane dovrà essere misurato in tre eventi ufficiali (SBTSCI o affiliati)
per avere la sua altezza definitiva e sarà calcolata dalla media delle tre
misure certificate nei tre tornei al quale ha partecipato.
Come misurare il cane:
• Il conduttore pone il piede del cane correttamente angolato sul
pavimento o tavolo di misurazione.
• Saranno controllati i seguenti punti prima dell’inizio della
misurazione.
• Il gomito del cane è uguale alla parte inferiore del petto.
• Le gambe sono dritte e tutte quattro toccano a terra e il cane è
completamente a riposo sulle zampe con le dita al suolo.
• L’asta del cinometro si posa sul punto più alto del garrese e sarà
spinta delicatamente attraverso il pelo del cane.
• Infine sarà bloccato il cinometro sull’altezza corrispondente
Nota: è importante provare questa misurazione più volte, perché un cane
a suo agio è più semplice e preciso da misurare.
Se un cane non vuole essere misurato il conduttore metterà le braccia
sotto il torace del cane e manterrà il cane
LONG JUMP
Il cane deve saltare il più lontano possibile oltrepassando la struttura.
Ogni cane avrà a disposizione dodici minuti e tre tentativi per ogni misura.
Prima di iniziare la gara il conduttore avrà a disposizione un minuto per
scaldare il cane e fargli prendere confidenza con la struttura di salto.
La rincorsa massima consentita per il salto è pari a 5 metri ed è segnata
a terra in modo visibile.
Un salto è considerato valido solo se il cane non muove nessuna delle
aste poste sull’ostacolo, se il cane muove l’asta e questa ritorna nella
propria sede iniziale è considerato valido, ogni altro caso determinerà
l’annullamento del salto.
E’ considerato un tentativo ogni salto del cane verso la struttura di salto,
inclusi eventuali salti laterali.
In caso di salto valido il cane avrà nuovamente a disposizione nella distanza successiva 3 tentativi, in pratica il salto valida azzera i tentativi
nulli.
Il conduttore stabilisce da quale lunghezza il proprio cane inizierà a saltare, una volta impostata la distanza del salto, il conduttore potrà solo
incrementare la lunghezza del salto:
•
<= a 300 cm di lunghezza ogni incremento sarà di 10 cm o
progressivi superiori (cm 10-20-30 …etc)
•
>= a 300 cm di lunghezza sarà incrementato di 5 cm
(cm 5-10-15 ..etc.)o progressivi superioria
discrezione del conduttore.
Esempio : se il conduttore decide di far saltare il proprio cane 200 cm e
il salto è valido, la lunghezza successiva potrà essere di 210 cm o superiore, l’importante è che l’incremento sia di almeno 10 cm.
Esempio: un cane alto 38,4 cm che salta 300 cm.
300/38,4=7,81(livello blu) quindi: (7,81*8) / 2,5 = 24,99 punti

SPRINT 50 e 100 METRI
Il cane deve percorrere i 50 ed i 100 metri nel minor tempo possibile.
La misurazione del tempo deve essere effettuata elettronicamente, il
cane può partire massimo 1,5 metri prima della prima fotocellula posta
sulla linea di partenza. I tempi verranno misurati al centesimo di secondo.
Il cane potrà seguire l’esca della lure machine o essere chiamato dal
conduttore o da una persona da lui scelta, restando dietro la linea di
arrivo.
E’ vietato correre insieme al cane, lanciare oggetti da far seguire al cane
o qualsiasi altro comportamento non specificato nel suddetto regolamento.
I punti verranno assegnati secondo le seguenti tabella generica tarata su
un livello medio di performance. Inoltre per ogni classe verrà stilata una
classifica e le primi 5 posizioni riceveranno i seguenti punti:

A-FRAME
Il cane deve superare l’ostacolo il maggior numero di volte in un minuto.
Un passaggio sarà ritenuto valido ogni volta che le zampe anteriori del
cane toccheranno terra dopo aver passato il telaio.
Ogni cane avrà tre manche a disposizione e potrà riposare tra una manche e l’altra.
Durante l’esecuzione dell’esercizio è vietato spingere il cane con il corpo
per favorirne la discesa.
I punti assegnati vengono calcolati nel seguente modo:

BEST PERFORMANCE
Per ogni disciplina verrà stilata una classifica generale, in cui tutte le
classi saranno unificate, e verrà dichiarato vincitore di specialità chi, tra
tutti i cani partecipanti, avrà ottenuto la Best Performance.
La Best Performance verrà calcolata confrontando il risultato personale
con il livello oro della classe di appertenenza e chi si sarà discostato
maggiormente, se la differenza sarà in positivo, o in misura minore, se la
differenza sarà in negativo, avrà ottenuto la miglior prestazione assoluta.

SPORT RULES IN ENGLISH
HEIGHT AND WEIGHT
Weight:
Weight of the dog will be measured by using a digital scale or, if it’s not
available, by weighing at first the owner/handler(A), the weighing at the
same time the owner/handler and the dog(B), the difference between B
and A will determinate the weight of the dog.
Only the owner/handler can handle the dog.
When the jury agreed the weight of the dog, it will be recorded on the
registration form.
The dog must be weighted at every event he participates.
Height:
When the dog completes 18 month he reaches his final height. Since the
measurement of the height is an operation that require a lot of precision
and it’s subject to small variations that may determine a different class,
each dog will be measured three times during the event, the average of
the three measurements will determine the official height of the dog for
that event.
To acquire his final official height, the dog has to get his measurement
in three official event (SBTSCI or affiliate). The average of this three
measurement will determine the official height of the dog for every future
event.
The dog must be measured in three official events (SBTSCI or affiliated)
to have its final height and is calculated from the average of the three
certified measures in three events to which he participated.
How to measure your dog:
•
The operator places the dog correctly angled foot on the floor or
table of measurement.
•
Check the following points before the start of the measurement.
•
The dog’s elbow is equal to the lower part of the chest.
•
The legs are straight and all four touch on the ground and the dog
is completely at rest on the legs with fingers on the ground.
•
The auction of cinometro sits on the highest point of the withers
and will boost gently through the hair of the dog.
•

Note: it is important to try this measurement several times, because a
dog at home is easier and more accurate to measure.
If a dog does not want to be measured the operator will lead his arms
under the dog’s chest and keep the dog locked from the elbow.
DISCIPLINE
LONG JUMP
The dog must jump as far as possible beyond the structure. Every dog
will have twelve minutes and three attempts for each measure.
Before to start the race the conductor will have one minute to warm up
the dog and let him become familiar with the structure. The maximum
run-up before jumping is 5 meters and is marked on the ground in a
visible way.
A jump is considered valid only if the dog does not move any of the auctions posed on the obstacle, if the dog moves an rod and this returns
to its initial site the jump is considered valid, all other cases result in the
cancellation of the jump.
It is considered an attempt any leap of the dog across the structure of
the jump, including any side jumps.
If the dog performs a valid jump he will have again three attempts for
the next measure.
every conductor decides from which lenght his dog will start to jump,
once the distance of the jump is set, the handler may only increase the
length of the jump:
• <= 300 cm in length each increment will be 10 cm or progressive
higher (10-20-30 cm etc ...)
• > = 300 cm in length will be increased by 5 cm (cm 5-10-15 ..etc.)
Or progressive higher at the discretion of the conductor.
Example: if the handler decides to make his dog start jumping 200 cm ,
the next will be the length of 210 cm or more, the important thing is that
the increase is at least 10 cm.
The points are calculated as follows:
(ratio jump / height) X (points level) / 2 = score.
Example: a dog 38,4 cm tall jumps 300 cm.
300/38,4=7,81(blu level) so: (7,81*8) / 2,5 = 24,99 points
50 AND 100MT SPRINT
The dog has to travel 50 to 100 meters in the shortest possible time.
The time measurement must be carried out electronically, the dog can
go up to 1.5 meters before the first photocell placed on the starting line.
The times will be measured to the hundredth of a second.
The dog can follow the bait of lure machines or be called by the tenant or
a person of his choice, who has to stay behind the finish line.
It is forbidden to run with the dog, throw objects to be followed by the dog
or any other behavior not specified in the regulation.
Points will be awarded according to the following table calibrated on an
average level of performance. Moreover, for each class there will be a

A-FRAME
The dog must overcome the obstacle as many times as he can in a minute.
A pass will be valid whenever the front legs of the dog will touch the
ground after crossing the frame.
Every dog will have three rounds available and he can rest between one
attempt and the other.
While performing the exercise is forbidden to pull the dog with the body
to facilitate his descent.
The points are calculated as follows: steps + points level = score
BEST PERFORMANCE
For each discipline there will be a classification general, where all classes will be unified, and it will be declared the winner of specialties who,
among all dogs participating, receives the Best Performance.
The Best Performance will be calculated by comparing the result of a
dog with the gold level of his class and who will diverge more from it, if
the difference is positive, or to a lesser extent, if the difference is negative, will have achieved the best performance.
