A Word from Father Sam
Many blessings and congratulations to our parishioners
celebrating the sacraments of confirmation today.
Confirmation is a continuation of our baptismal life and so
we pray that our young adults will continue to live their
Christian lives with great faith and be examples of faith
and charity to all their friends. Living our faith is a commitment that we renew every day Sometimes it is very difficult to take up the cross of faith but when we are open to
the presence of God and we invite God to strengthen and
lead us all is possible.
90th Anniversary
The date for Holy Rosary’s 90th Anniversary Celebration has
changed. It will now be held on November 16 & 17. The celebration will still take place at the Winnipeg Convention
Centre. Tickets for the event will be available soon.
Last Bulletin
Next Sunday, June 20, we will be printing our last bulletin
until September. Important announcements will be printed on
the reverse side of the mass intention sheet.

Silent Retreat with Spiritual Direction

Confessions
Starting on Sunday, September 8 confessions will be heard
on Sundays from 3:15pm-4:15pm. Until then, confessions
will continue to be on Saturdays but if you wish to attend
please call the office during the week to inform Father Sam
that you will be coming by.

Safeway parking
Some of our parishioners are having problems knowing where
to park on Sunday at in the Safeway parking lot. We, again,
have printed maps of the parking lot and you can find them
on the table under the bulletin board at the back of the church.

Qualche nostro parrocchiano ha problemi nel sapere dove
parcheggiare la macchina la Domenica nel parcheggio di
Safeway. Noi nuovamente abbiamo fatto delle mappe del
parcheggio le trovate nel tavolo sotto il tabbellone degli
annunci nel retro della chiesa.
Adult Education Centre
St. Ignatius Adult Education Centre New Program for Fall
2013: The St. Ignatius Adult Education Centre will be offering a six-week prayer program Wednesday afternoons in
October and November using the book Love; A Guide to
Prayer which is considered to be a classic in the Ignatian
prayer tradition and is based on the Spiritual Exercises of St.
Ignatius.
Parishioners of Holy Rosary Church
If you are a parishioner that receives offering envelopes,
please use these envelopes.
This is a major cost to Holy Rosary, so we would appreciate
your help in this matter.

La Parola di Padre Sam
Tante benedizioni e congratulazioni a tutti i parrocchiani che
celebrano il sacramento della cresima oggi. La cresima é una
continuazione della nostra vita battesimale perció preghiamo
che i nostri giovani adulti continuino a vivere la loro vita
Cristiana con grande fede e ad essere esempio di fede e caritá per tutti i loro amici. Vivere la nostra fede é un impegno
che rinnoviamo ogni giorno. A volte é tanto difficile a
portare la croce della fede, ma quando siamo aperti alla presenza di Dio e quando noi invitiamo Dio di darci forza e a
guidarci, tutto é possibile.
Flowers in Church
The tradition of bringing flowers to church for weddings,
funerals and special occasions has a long history in our tradition. These arrangements are beautiful and most styles are
appropriate to stay and beautify the church. Removing all the
flowers after a mass is not part of our tradition; I will suggest
which flower arrangements stay and which may be removed.
Thank you for adoring God’s house with beautiful flowers.
Fiori in Chiesa
La tradizione di portare fiori in chiesa per sposalizi, funerali
e occasioni speciali, ha una lunga storia nella nostra
tradizione. Queste composizioni sono belle e tanti stili sono
appropiati a rimanare in chiesa. Togliere tutti i fiori non é
parte della tradizione; io vi propongo quali composizioni
rimangono e quali possono essere rimosse. Grazie per
l’adornamento della casa dio Dio con bellissimi fiori.
Remember a Loved One
Our Tree of Life located on the back wall of the church has
plenty of leaves available for people to have their loved
ones; both alive and passed, engraved on a leaf. The beautiful dedication costs only $300 and makes a beautiful gift
or a wonderful way to honor a loved one.

12ESIMO DOMENICA DEL TEMPO ORDINARIO
Manitoba's Passion Play
Manitoba's Passion Play in LaRiviere, Man. The 14th year for
this annual production, with a live orchestra, continues to
bring the Gospel to life in a very special way. On site is an
outdoor Way of the Cross trail. Make it a summer pilgrimage
for your family or church community. If you don't want to
drive, call Rick Brown at Beaver Bus Lines for special chartered bus rates. Performances are July 6, 7 at 6:30 p.m. and
July 12, 13,14 at 7:30 p.m. Food concessions are available or
pack a picnic, and bring your lawn chair. Outdoor Mass
presided by Archbishop of St. Boniface Emeritus Emilius
Goulet is Sun., July 14 at 4 p.m. Priests are most welcome to
bring vestments and concelebrate. The performance will follow at 7:30 p.m. The organizers extend an offer of a free pass
to all priests interested in attending one of the performances.

Our Annual Feast Day
Our annual Feast Day mass will be celebrated on Sunday
August 18. Mass begins at 2:30pm Followed by the procession. There will only be two masses on that Sunday: 9am in
English and 2:30pm in English and Italian. The evening cultural show begins at 7pm at the Italian Centre. Food is sold
between 5pm and 7pm. Tell all your relatives and friends to
come and enjoy.
La Nostra Annuale Giornata Di Festa
La messa della nostra desta annuale, sará celebrata Domenica
18 Agosto. La messa inizia alle 2:30pm seguirá poi la processione. Ci saranno 2 messe questa Domenica: 9:00am in
Inglese e 2:30 in inglese e Italiano. La sera lo spettacolo culturale inizia alle 7:00pm al Centro Italiano. Venderemo il cibo
tra le 5:00pm e le 7:00pm. Ditelo a tutti i vostri parenti e
amici di venire a divertirsi.
Marriage Encounter weekend
The next Marriage Encounter weekend will be held on
November 22-24 in Winnipeg. In an attempt to make the
weekend available to as many married couples as possible, we
are wondering if an add can be placed in your parish bulletins
advertising the event. An appropriate advertisement might be:
A Weekend of Discovery... A lifetime of Love! The next
Marriage Encounter weekend will be held November 22-24 at
the CanadInns on Elizabeth Road in Winnipeg. The weekend
