WHO BY BERARDII ARCHERY IS?
B
y Bernardini Archery was born in 1989 and owes its own
name to Gianni Bernardini. Great sportsman since
young, Bernardini approached archery in 1978, succeeding shortly in getting good results first with the Olympic bow and then with the Compound bow, that right in those
years in Italy was beginning to struck its first arrows on the competition fields. At the end of the 80’s Bernardini, that in that period used to shoot for the PSE, met Mario Marzaroli: the first products of the By Bernardini Archery were born from this match.
There was the conviction that the archery market could supply
good products, that actually in many cases could be improved and
perfectioned. From the first accessories as rests and releases, cams
and stabilizers, soon the range started to have Olympic bows and
complete compounds, up to the compound Genesis, the bow from
which everything has started and that, after almost twenty years
of successes, still accompanies with pride many archers on the shooting lines of the whole world.
In the meantime Gianni Bernardini, after winning competitions
and championships, gave his own experience as C.T. to different

CHI È LA BY BERARDII ARCHERY?
L
a By Bernardini Archery nacque nel 1989 e deve il proprio nome a Gianni Bernardini. Grande sportivo fin da
giovane, Bernardini si avvicinò al tiro con l’arco nel ’78,
riuscendo in breve ad ottenere ottimi risultati prima con
l’arco olimpico e poi con l’arco compound, che proprio in quegli
anni scoccava anche in Italia le sue prime frecce affacciandosi sui
campi di gara.
Alla fine degli anni ‘80 Bernardini, all’epoca tiratore per la PSE,
conobbe Mario Marzaroli: da questo connubio nacquero i primi
prodotti della By Bernardini Archery.
C’era la convinzione che il mercato arcieristico forniva ottimi prodotti ma in molti casi erano migliorabili e perfezionabili. Dai primi
accessori come mirini, rest e sganci, cam e stabilizzatori, la gamma
arrivò presto ad avere archi olimpici e compound completi, fino al
compound Genesis, l’arco da cui tutto è partito e che, dopo quasi
vent’anni di successi, ancora accompagna con orgoglio molti arcieri sulle linee di tiro di tutto il mondo.

S
ince its origin By Bernardini Archery pursuits a specific
mission: to give archers the best that research and technology can supply. From the beginning By Bernardini Archery chose to use the best aluminum leagues and a specific CC mechanical work process to get identical pieces with high
mechanical and performant features, with the purpose to allow
every archer to develop the maximum of their potentialities.
Every piece is produced from an anticorodal 6082 aluminum bar
and is worked in specialized centers through CC milling machines.
Then the milled risers are inspected one by one, polished, anodized
and manually assembled by competent employees.
Before being finally put on sale, the new products are personally
tested and submitted to the best
shooters for a more selective evaluation. Only at
the end, archers
can purchase a
safe, valid and
problem-free bow.

a By Bernardini Archery fin dalla sua origine porta avanti una missione precisa: fornire agli arcieri quanto di
meglio la ricerca e la tecnologia possa fornire. La scelta
iniziale della By Bernardini Archery fu la decisione di
utilizzare le migliori leghe di alluminio ed un preciso processo di
lavorazione meccanica CC per ottenere pezzi identici dalle elevate caratteristiche meccaniche e prestazionali al fine di permettere
ad ogni arciere di sviluppare il massimo delle proprie potenzialità.
Ogni pezzo viene prodotto partendo da una barra di alluminio anticorodal 6082. La lavorazione avviene in centri specializzati mediante frese CC.
I riser fresati vengono poi ispezionati singolarmente, lucidati, anodizzati e montati uno alla volta, manualmente, da competenti addetti.
Prima di essere finalmente in vendita a disposizione di tutti, i
nuovi prodotti vengono personalmente testati ed affidati ai migliori tiratori per una
valutazione più selettiva. Solo alla fine
l’arciere potrà acquistare un arco sicuro,

he research of By Bernardini Archery is directed, as it’s
always been, in two directions: to suppy the archers
with new and innovative products; to improve existing
items crossing new roads. Following these two principles, have been realized in our products those typical elements that
allow to immediately identify and recognize them as true By Bernardini Archery manufactured articles! It’s about functional elements, at times exclusive, often having a unique aesthetical charm.
It is enough to grasp one of our risers to realize that nothing is left
to the case. At first contact the hand grasps a minimalist grip, studied for limiting and annulling the interferences and the harmful
torsions between the archer’s hand and the bow itself. If the series
grip doesn’t perfectly match the person’s ergonomics, By Bernardini Archery has a complete range of grips, from the low to the medium ones, from the high to the ultra-high ones, from the flat to
the asymmetrical ones. Beside these grips purposely realized, there
are in catalog risers with a traditional

a ricerca della By Bernardini Archery si è rivolta e si rivolge in due direzioni: fornire agli arcieri prodotti nuovi
ed innovativi; migliorare quanto esistente percorrendo
nuove strade. Seguendo questi due principi, si sono realizzati alcuni elementi così tipici nei nostri prodotti e nei nostri riser da identificarli immediatamente, riconoscendone come dei veri
manufatti By Bernardini Archery! Si tratta di elementi funzionali, a
volte esclusivi, spesso dal fascino estetico unico.
È sufficiente impugnare uno dei nostri riser per accorgersi che
nulla è lasciato al caso. Al primo contatto la mano impugna una
grip minimalista, studiata per limitare ed annullare le interferenze
e le dannose torsioni tra la mano dell’arciere e l’arco stesso. Se tuttavia la grip di serie non dovesse sposarsi alla perfezione con
l’ergonomia della persona, la By Bernardini Archery ha a disposizione una gamma completa di grip, da quella bassa a quella media,
da quella alta a quella
ultra-alta, da quella
piatta a quella asimmetrica. Accanto a queste
grip appositamente studiante, sono in catalogo
sia riser con grip tradizionale (Luxor) sia riser
disegnati senza grip

hoever tries to regulate the setup of a By Bernardini riser can only be positively stricken and fascinated by the simple and efficient precharge and limbs
alignment system of our products. You won't be
forced anymore to unwind the bow every time you have to adjust
the tiller or regulate the power thanks to a system unique in the
world that allows to complete all these procedures in a simple way,
without counter-blocks or fixing grains, through an endless screw
(on the models ilo, Cobra and Mamba) or practical clicks (on the
models Luxor, Aladin and 20° St) operated by the comfortable key
in endowment.
The limbs’ alignment is as simple as well: through two steel nuts at
the pocket’s sides it’s possible to move along the horizontal axle
the whole pivot of the precharge. This way have been eliminated
those systems such as the eccentric precharge that, at the limbs’
alignment change, also modifies the charge level of the limb itself.

hiunque provi a regolare il setup di un riser By Bernardini non può che rimanere positivamente colpito ed affascinato dal semplice quanto efficiente sistema di precarica e di allineamento dei flettenti dei nostri prodotti.

sono stati eliminati i sistemi come le precariche eccentriche che,
alla modifica dell’allineamento dei flettenti, modificano anche il
grado di carico del flettente stesso.

he Olympic bow is the pursuit of every manufacturer’s
research, but By Bernardini Archery is not willing to be
satisfied with furnishing excellent Olympic risers only:
in fact, in its catalog there are also models that have been designed specifically for hunting, 3D and barebow. Barebow
shooters need a particularly stable riser that’s weighted down in
the lower part. Aware of these needs, By Bernardini Archery has
also transferred the winning features of its own Olympic risers also in models suitable for the barebow. ilo riser as Luxor, Aladin
and 20° St, have the possibility to introduce modular steel weights
in the lower part, this allows to regulate the weight at will without
spoiling the lightness of the aesthetical line.
Alignment of the limbs, comfortable precharges, modular weights,
standard attack of the limbs, integrated grip, length from 21" and
19", realization through CC: these are the characteristics typical
of an bow of high range that the By Bernardini Archery has decided to also use for its hunting models and 3D: the Cobra and the

’arco olimpico è il punto di approdo della ricerca di ogni
produttore, ma la By Bernardini Archery non si vuole
accontentare di fornire solo ottimi riser olimpici: nel suo
catalogo sono infatti presenti anche modelli appositamente disegnate per la caccia, il tiro 3D e il tiro con arco nudo.
Il tiratore di arco nudo ha bisogno di un riser particolarmente stabile ed appesantito nella parte inferiore. Conscia di queste necessità, la By Bernardini Archery ha riversato le caratteristiche vincenti
dei propri riser olimpici anche in modelli adatti all’arco nudo. Il
ilo, come il Luxor, l’Aladin ed il 20° St, hanno la possibilità di
introdurre pesi modulari in acciaio nella parte inferiore, così da
permettere di regolare il peso a piacere senza compromettere la
leggerezza della linea estetica.

B
y Bernardini Archery’s catalog is rich of solutions and
accessories that go beyond the usual recurve risers: Olympic magnetic rests, Compound drop-away rests, stabilizers and extenders, T.F.C. and v-bar, cable splitters,
target sights and hunting sights. Among the most interesting proposals there are the CS-01 cable splitter and the EX-01 extension.
Compound shooters know very well how the cable splitter is a critical element of the bow, especially when attritions that compromise the repeating of the execution are produced, so, right for this
reason, By Bernardini Archery produces an accessory of elevated
technology and great solidity. The cable splitter CS-01 works
through two wheels in synthetic material at zero attrition that
runs on the cable splitter, while the cables are on small wheels having different diameters in order to minimizie the usury of the cable itself. Moreover, the whole body is milled from an anticorodal
piece.
The most solicited part of the whole stabilizer is the extension, that
supports the whole weight and the vibrations. The necessity to
supply a rigid element, but also aesthetically winning, led to the
realization of a piece in solid aluminum. This extension will never get unstuck, as unfortunately it often happens with traditional ones.

l catalogo della By Bernardini Archery è ricco di soluzioni e
di accessori che vanno al di là dei soli riser da ricurvo: rest
magnetici per olimpico, rest a caduta per compound, stabilizzatori e prolunghe, T.F.C. e v-bar, scorricavi e mirini da
tiro e da caccia. Tra le più interessanti proposte si possono segnalare lo scorricavi a rotelle CS-01 e la prolunga EX-01.
Il tiratore compound sa bene quanto lo scorricavi sia un elemento
critico nell’insieme arco, soprattutto quando vengono generati attriti indesiderati che compromettono la ripetitività dell’esecuzione,
così, proprio per questo motivo, la By Bernardini Archery ha messo
in commercio un accessorio di elevata tecnologia e di grande solidità. Lo scorricavi CS-01 funziona mediante due ruote in materiale
sintetico a zero attriti che scorrono sopra il separa cavi, mentre i
cavi sono alloggiati su rotelline di diametri differenti per minimizzare l’usura degli stessi. Tutto il corpo, inoltre, è ricavato da un
blocchetto di anticorodal mediante procedimento CC.
La parte più sollecitata di tutto l’insieme stabilizzazione è la prolunga, che sorregge tutto il
peso e le vibrazioni. La necessità di fornire un elemento rigido, ma anche esteticamente accattivante, ha portato alla realizzazione di un
pezzo in solido alluminio.

-level agonist that wants the best to the barebow shooter, from the hunter to big draw length shooters, any
requirement can be satisfied with our risers, having in addition the
safety of a made in Italy product, with mechanical and materials
precision and handicraft control on every single piece.
Mamba is a 19” hunting riser, purposely designed to respect Fiarc
-Ifaa restrictions also with 70” limbs, non secondary aspect for
hunters having generous draw length. This riser has the practical
power regulation through an endless screw, a simple limbs’ alignment system. The riser is milled in aluminum anticorodal 6082
and is embellished with side grips made of fine wood. It is possible
to weight down he bow of 145 gr with steel weights. All in 1150
grs. only.
Cobra is a 21” hunting riser, purposely designed to respect Fiarc-Ifaa restrictions also with 68” limbs, in order
to get an extremely fast bow. This riser
has a practical power regulation
through an endless screw, a simple
limbs’ alignment system. The riser is
milled in aluminum anticorodal 6082
and is embellished with side grips made of fine wood. It is possible to weight
down he bow of 230 grs. with steel

al tiratore di arco nudo, dall’arciere cacciatore al tiratore con grandi allunghi, qualsiasi richiesta può essere soddisfatta
con i nostri riser, avendo in più la sicurezza di un prodotto dal designe italiano, della precisione meccanica e dei materiali e del controllo artigianale su ogni singolo pezzo.
Il Mamba è un riser da cacca da 19”, disegnato appositamente per
rispettare le restrizioni Fiarc-Ifaa anche con flettenti da 70, aspetto
non secondario per gli arcieri cacciatori dagli allunghi generosi.
Questo riser adotta la pratica regolazione della potenza mediante
vite senza fine, un semplice allineamento dei flettenti. Il riser è fresato in alluminio anticorodal 6082 ed è impreziosito con guancette
in legno pregiato. È possibile appesantire l’arco di 145 gr con pesi in acciaio. Il tutto in soli 1150 gr.
Il Cobra è un riser da caccia da 21”,

he most known and sold By Bernardini Archery product
is probably the ilo riser, designed and realized to offer
the best both to the Olympic and to the barebow shooters. The 23" version has a practical power regulation
through an endless screw, and it shares with Mamba and Cobra
the simple limbs alignment system. The riser is made of aluminum
anticorodal 6082. It is possible to assemble each of the six grips in
catalog, from the flat metal one to the super high one. For barebow shooters it is possible to improve the bow’s stability with some
optional steel weights up to 170 grs. The riser’s weight is 1150 grs.
The 25” version keeps all the same features, it can be weighted
down 225 grs and it weighs, bare, 1300gr.
From ilo’s fine line derives Luxor, the first 27” Olympic and barebow riser ever realized in the world. It shares with the ilo the
limbs alignment system but the
power’s regulation is done through a
screw with no counter-block. It is possible to weight down the riser (that
weighs 1290 grs) with 225 grs steel
weights. The greater length, essential
to offer a fluid bow while in traction

the model. The grip has been designed

l prodotto più conosciuto e venduto della By Bernardini Archery è probabilmente il ilo, il riser disegnato e realizzato
per offrire il meglio sia ai tiratori olimpici che ai tiratori arconudo. La versione da 23” possiede una pratica regolazione
della potenza mediante vite senza fine e condivide con il Mamba ed
il Cobra il semplice allineamento dei flettenti. Il riser è realizzato
in alluminio anticorodal 6082. E’ possibile montare ognuna delle
sei grip in catalogo, da quella piatta in metallo a quella super alta.
Per chi tira arco nudo è possibile migliorare la stabilità dell’arco
con dei pesi opzionali in acciaio per un massimo di 170 gr. Peso
riser: 1150 gr. La versione da 25” mantiene tutte le stesse caratteristiche, può essere appesantito di 225 gr e pesa, nudo 1300gr.
Dalla pregevole linea del ilo deriva il Luxor, il primo riser per

he best item of By Bernardini Archery is Aladin riser, a
superb mix of new technological solutions, the most advanced item that we have designed. The limbs are connected to the riser through milled pockets that guarantee a perfect alignment of the limbs themselves. The power’s regulation is done through the same system of the Luxor, with screw
without counter-block and clicks system. The particular design of
the window allows to vertically adjust the position of the clicker
and the sight, in order to centralize the masses and to offer the
best to suit the bow to anyone’s style. As on ilo it is possible to
assemble each of the six grips in catalog. The inferior part can be
weighted down with three different types of invisible weights not
to spoil the line, while the bare Bow weighs 1330 grs. The riser is
supplied with magnetic rest.
20°ST riser derives from Aladin and
has been realized to celebrate the
20th By Bernardini Archery anniversary. It has the same precharge
system as Aladin, a similar line,
weight system and the exclusive clicks

l fiore all’occhiello della By Bernardini Archery è il riser Aladin, un concentrato di soluzioni tecnologiche
all’avanguardia, quanto di più avanzato è stato da noi progettato. I flettenti sono collegati al riser mediante dei pocket
fresati che garantiscono un perfetto allineamento dei flettenti stessi. La regolazione della potenza avviene mediante lo stesso sistema
del Luxor, con vite senza contro blocco e sistema a scatti. Il particolare disegno della finestra permette di regolare la posizione del
clicker e del mirino in verticale, per centralizzare le masse ed offrire quanto di meglio sia in circolazione per adattare l’arco al proprio stile. Come sul ilo è possibile montare le sei grip in catalogo.
La parte inferiore è appesantibile con tre diversi tipi di pesi a
scomparsa, per non pregiudicare la linea, mentre l’arco nudo pesa
