Each car will belong to the class corresponding to the fictive cylinder capacity thus obtained. Bumpers Bumpers can be removed, provided the weight of the car is in accordance with the minimum weight specified on its homologation form. Tyres Cars of period G2 may use slicks. The cutting of road tyres is forbidden. The use of any sort of device to warm tyres is forbidden. Furthermore the use of motorcycle tyres is forbidden. 3. CALENDAR OF COMPETITIONS There will be a maximum of 16 Competitions. If, at the outcome of this Championship, the number of Competitions that have taken place is lower than 6, the FIA may decline to award the title. 4. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE COMPETITIONS The length of the course shall be at least 3.5km. All Competitions shall have standing starts. During the Competition it is permitted to push-start cars at any point of the course, but only under the control of race officials. Practice There will be at least one timed practice. Heats If the distance of the course is between 3.5 km and 8km, there will be two timed heats. The classification will be determined by the addition of the times achieved in each heat. If the course is longer than 8km, it must be stated in the Supplementary Regulations how many heats will be taken into account for the results. 5. LICENCES Drivers and Competitors must possess the appropriate grade of current International Licence (Grade A, B, C, C/H, D, D/H, R or R/H). Drivers must possess a car driving licence. 6. CLASSIFICATION The provisional classification of the Championship must be posted by the organisers on the official notice board prior to the beginning of each Competition. In order to count for the classification of the Championship, the results of a Competition must include: a) A starting list, including class divisions. b) A general classification for Categories 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, with no class divisions or separation between standard and competition cars. c) Classifications, taken from the general classification, relating to each of the classes, including non-finishers and exclusions. A separate classification will be issued for each category and class. The points will be awarded as follows: Category points will be allocated to all finishers in Categories1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 as follows: 1st overall 8 points 2nd 6 points 3rd 5 points 4th 4 points 5th 3 points 6th 2 points 7th 1 point For all other finishers: 1 point. For classes with three or more starters: 1st 10 points 2nd 8 points 3rd 6 points 4th 5 points 5th 4 points 6th 3 points 7th 2 points 8th 1 point. For classes with fewer than three starters: 1st 5 points 2nd 4 points. A bonus point will be awarded to all «starter». For the Competitions that are exclusively historic and not combined with modern Competitions, bonus points will be awarded to each Driver considered either a «starter» or classified as follow: 2 points for each «starter», 3 points for each Driver classified. A «starter» is a Driver who has practised and started the race. To be classified a Driver must complete and cross the finish line of all the timed climbs counting for a Competition. Should there be a dead-heat in the classification of a Competition, the points scored by the Drivers concerned are calculated as follows: the average of the points normally awarded for the successive positions that the Drivers would have held had they not been placed equal. Example of a dead-heat between the two fastest Drivers: addition of the points normally awarded for first and second places, divided by two, i.e. (10 + 8) / 2 = 9 points for each Driver. 7. SCRUTINEERING AND PARC FERMÉ The presentation of a car for scrutineering will be deemed an implicit statement of conformity. There must be a minimum of three scrutineers for each Competition, in addition to the FIA eligibility delegate, who will be chief scrutineer. At the end of each heat, all cars having crossed the finish line shall be taken under the supervision of the officials of the Competition to a Parc Fermé where they shall remain until at least 30 minutes after the posting of the provisional results or until the stewards order their release. Any classified car which is unable to cross the line and/or to reach the Parc Fermé by its own means shall forthwith upon such disability occurring be placed under the sole and exclusive control of the track marshals and the scrutineers who shall at the first convenient moment remove the car to the Parc Fermé. Cars which have not been put in the Parc Fermé shall not be classified. The re-grouping area prior to the start may be considered as a Parc Fermé. For scrutineering: see Article 10.f of the «General Prescriptions applicable to all FIA Championships, Challenges, Trophies and Cups and to their qualifying Competitions other than those run on circuits». 8. FINAL CLASSIFICATION OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP Five separate classifications will be drawn up, one for each of these five categories and a trophy will be awarded for each of them. In order to be classified, a Driver must take part in at least five Competitions. At the maximum the two best results of each Driver in his ASN territory will be taken in account. The whole season will be divided into two half-seasons comprising the same number of Competitions actually run. However, should the total of these Competitions add up to an odd number, the first fraction of this total would include one more Competition than the second fraction. For each half-season, the number of results retained will correspond to the total number of Competititions minus one. The winner of the Championship will be the Driver having scored the largest number of points under the conditions fixed for this Championship. The FIA may decline to award the title in the case of insufficient performance. In case of a dead-heat: 1. The Driver of the car from an older period (according to Article 3 of Appendix K) will take precedence. If more than one car is used by a Driver, the car taken in consideration for the age criteria will be the car used to score the greater number of points (the Historic Motor Sport Commission Technical Working Group will decide any disputes concerning the age of the cars). 2. Should the dead-heat persist, a dead-heat will be declared between the Drivers concerned. 9. FIA HHC NATIONS CUP An «FIA HHC Nations Cup» will be organized within the framework of the last Competition counting towards the Championship (Coppa del Chianti Classico). Each participating ASN will nominate one Driver in each of the five categories, subject to entering at least three categories. The best three results of each ASN (using the same point system as applied for the Championship) will be retained for the final classification of the Nations Cup. The winner will be the nation team with the greatest number of points. Should more than one nation have scored the same number of points, the tie will be settled on the basis of the greatest number of 1st, then 2nd, then 3rd places (and so on) obtained. 3. VERANSTALTUNGSKALENDER Die maximale Zahl an Veranstaltungen beträgt 16.
