Description
Description
Descripción
Erich Arch Bar is made of fully annealed electro polished stainless steel which is
affixed temporarily to the teeth with ligature wire. The installed device provides
temporary jaw immobilization.

Erich Arch Bar may be used for, but not limited to the types of intermaxillary
fixations listed below:
• Maxillofacial fractures requiring occlusal control
- Maxillo-mandibular fixation (MMF)
- Temporary occlusal orientation for placement of rigid internal fixation
• Extended elastic therapy
- Minor occlusal movements
- Guide and train mandibular motion (mandibular subcondylar fractures)
• Oncologic or trauma-related discontinuity defects requiring
occlusal control
• Alveolar fractures
- Dental stabilization
Erich Arch Bar Adaptation
Check model size preoperatively
Check intra-operatively on dental arch
Correct discrepancies in contour and dimension
Bend arch bar ends to the contour of the last tooth bilaterally
Section at fracture site if necessary
Fracture fragment mobilization may be required to properly place the
arch bar

Descrizione

- Dentale Stabilisierung
Anpassung der Bogenstangen nach Erich
• Vor der Operation die Modellgröße überprüfen
• Während der Operation den Zahnbogen überprüfen
• Abweichungen der Kontur und Größe anpassen
• Bogenenden an beiden Seiten an die Kontur des letzten Zahnes biegen
• Gegebenenfalls Schnitt an der Bruchstelle
