DANDELION, (Dente di Leone) simbolo di libertà e felicità. Chi di noi non ha mai raccolto da un prato il fiore
chiamato dente di leone e soffiato tra i suoi pistilli mentre esprimeva un desiderio? Il dente di leone, anche
conosciuto con il nome di soffione, è spesso utilizzato come icona ed emana una sensazione magica e
rilassante. Rappresenta l’amore, la fedeltà, la felicità ed il tempo e solitamente i pistilli, spesso rappresentati
come se fossero portati via da una folata di vento, indicano i desideri più o meno espressi. Come tutti i fiori
rappresenta da un lato l’attaccamento alla terra e ai propri vincoli e valori ma dall’altro lato la necessità di
volare via. Etereo e delicato, è allo stesso tempo robusto, perché cresce spesso nei luoghi più impervi ed
inaspettati, è stato scelto come soggetto protagonista dell’opera di Simone D’Auria (realizzata da BMA).
Solitario ma tenace vuole ergersi a simbolo della forza che guida gli animi degli eroi contemporanei, pronti a
sconfiggere il buio dei tempi di crisi, illuminando (letteralmente) il proprio futuro grazie alla forza interiore e
alla condivisione delle idee, che, come stami illuminati portati dal vento, sono pronte a volare e trovare
terreno fertile per accrescere la coscienza sociale comune.

DANDELION is a symbol of freedom and happiness. Who among us has never picked up the dandelion and
blown among its pistils while expressing a wish? Dandelion is often used as an icon of a magical and
relaxing feeling. It represents love, loyalty, happiness and time, usually its pistils, often represented as if
they were taken away by a gust of wind, indicate desires (more or less expressed). As all the flowers, it
represents on one hand the attachment to the land and to personal obligations and values, on the other hand
the need to fly away. Ethereal and delicate, at the same time it is sturdy, because it often grows in the most
inaccessible and unexpected places. For this reason it was chosen as the protagonist of the work of Simone
D'Auria (made by BMA). Lonely but firm, it wants to stand as a symbol of the strong force that drives the
minds of contemporary heroes, ready to defeat the dark times of crisis, illuminating (literally) their own future
through the inner strength and the sharing of ideas, which, as stamens enlightened brought by the wind, are
ready to fly away and find fertile ground for increasing social consciousness common.
