COMPITI PRINCIPALI: Lo scopo di questa posizione è quello di svolgere tutte le mansioni di idraulico,
quali installare, riparare e modificare tubature per la fornitura di acqua, tubature per il trattamento di
acque di rifiuto, tubi del gas e di gasolio ed altri tubazioni e sistemi simili. Installa, modifica e ripara in
modo autonomo una serie di sistemi di approvvigionamento e di trattamento di servizi quali acque di
rifiuto, acqua potabile, distribuzione di gasolio e gas, servizi igienici, vasche, sistemi di prevenzione
reflusso, sistemi antincendio a sprinkler. Pianifica e verifica la necessaria pendenza e livellatura di
tubature per assicurare il flusso corretto, lo scarico e condizioni operative sanitarie che prevengano il
vuoto di reflusso o condizioni di bolla d’aria. Pianifica e svolge il lavoro partendo dal progetto iniziale
fino al completamento, interpretando e mettendo in pratica disegni tecnici, speficiche tecniche, schizzi ed
altri regolamenti/codici relativi all’idraulica. Localizza e collega tubi principali, predispone sistemi di
tubature collegate, posiziona e opera delle aperture, fissa delle sospensioni per ottenere la pendenza e
livellamento desiderati e installa valvole e pozzetti come necessario per assicurare l’operatività di vari
sistemi. Testa e localizza malfunzionamenti nelle varie tubature, compresi i sistemi di prevenzione riflussi
etc. Soggetto a reperibilità dopo le normali ore di lavoro, i fine settimana e le festività per intervenire in
caso di situazioni di emergenza. Per ulteriori informazioni, una copia del mansionario è a disposizione

MAJOR DUTIES: The purpose of this position is to perform the full range of journey level plumbing
duties such as installing, repairing and modifying water supply, sewage disposal, gas distribution, oil lines
and similar utility systems and equipment. Independently installs, modifies, repairs and maintains a
variety of new and existing utility, supply and disposal systems and equipment such as sewage, water, oil
and gas distribution systems, and water closets, tubs, backflow prevention devices/assemblies, fire sprinler
systems and showers. Plans and ensures the proper slant, slope, fall or level of installations to provide for
proper flow, drainage and sanitary operating conditions and to prevent backflow vacuum or air lock
conditions. Plans and accomplishes work from initial layout to final assembly which involves interpreting
and applying building plans, specifications, blueprints, sketches and other plumbing guides/codes, and
using shop mathematics. Locates and taps main lines, sets up system routes, places and cuts route
openings, places hangers for proper level and slope, and determines and installs valves, traps and unions
as needed for proper operation of a variety of systems and equipment. Determines tools, parts, equipment
and supplies needed, including proper types, sizes and materials. Troubleshoots/tests various plumbing
systems and equipment including backflow prevention devices such as reduced pressure principle devices,
double check devices, atmospheric vacuum breakers and other cross connection devices. Subject to
perform standby duties on after normal duty hours, weekends and holidays to respond to emergency

QUALIFICHE RICHIESTE: 49 mesi di esperienza lavorativa specifica. E' richiesta la patente di guida
tipo “B”.
QUALIFICATIONS: 49 months of experience in line of work. Applicants must possess a valid Italian
driving license type “B”.
È richiesta una conoscenza basilare della lingua inglese. I candidati saranno soggetti a prova.
A basic knowledge of the English language is required, subject to testing.
