The association active since 2001 in Giubiasco and from November 22nd 2003 officially established in accordance with article 60
and seq.CCS. The projects carried out so far are in the region of Matam
(Senegal) are: aqueduct, agroforestry project, primary school
project, kindergarten, training center for young women and single
mothers, construction of an infirmary, construction of a maternity
ward and sponsorships of 38 secondary and high school students.

Preface
Tenderness. Fragility. Pride. Sweetness. Elegance. Seventy images, seventy impressions, seventy emotions. But always love that animals know how to give us. These photos are mainly this: a delicate dedication to our friends
who have accompanied us for a long time; watching attentively. Looking at old age and debility as an opportunity to find another
beauty, deeper, one that does not end in aesthetic, but that finds
his being in the relationship and history of each. These dogs, these comrades, remind us that time, the days, the months, the years
that we have shared have an extraordinary force.
In every image emerges the individuality of every dog, unique,
just as the experience of having a dog that walks by our side.

Part of the proceeds of the sale of these books will go to help fund
the mill project at Diamel that will begin in February 2015.

L’Associazione attiva a Giubiasco dal 2001 quale gruppo di lavoro e
dal 22 novembre 2003 costituita ufficialmente ai sensi degli art. 60 e
segg. CCS, con sede a Giubiasco.
I progetti fino ad ora eseguiti nella regione di Matam (Senegal)
sono: acquedotto, progetto agroforestale, progetto scuola primaria
scuola dell’infanzia, centro di formazione per giovani donne e ragazze madri, costruzione infermeria, costruzione maternità e padrinati per 38 allievi scuola secondaria e liceo.

“Tenerezza. Fragilità. Fierezza. Dolcezza. Eleganza.
Settanta immagini, settanta impressioni, settanta emozioni.
Sempre e comunque l’amore buono che gli animali sanno trasmetterci.
Queste fotografie sono soprattutto questo: un delicato omaggio agli amici che a lungo ci hanno accompagnato; un sguardo
fine e attento…
Un rivedere la vecchiaia e le sue debilitazioni come un’opportunità per cercare un’altra bellezza, più profonda, quella che non
si esaurisce in un canone estetico, ma trova il suo essere nel
legame e nella storia di ognuno. Questi cani, questi compagni,
ci ricordano che il tempo, i giorni, i mesi, gli anni che abbiamo
condiviso hanno una forza straordinaria.
In ogni scatto emerge l’individualità del soggetto, reso unico,

Parte del ricavato della vendita dei libri andrà a finanziare
