PXA-H510 består av två enheter: kontrollenheten

1 CAUTION:
Do not install the control unit near the air-bag of the
front passenger's seat.
• Confirm the installation location will be safe.
• Determine the mounting position on the dashboard. The area should be large enough to
center the unit and reasonably flat.

1 PRECAUCION:
No instale la unidad de control cerca del airbag del

poder montar la unidad en el centro.

des Beifahrersitz-Airbags.

sicher ist.
• Bestimmen Sie die Montageposition auf dem Armaturenbrett. Der Bereich muss groß genug sein, um
das Gerät mittig zu installieren und er sollte flach sein.

• Confermate che il luogo di installazione sia sicuro.
• Determinate la posizione di installazione nel
cruscotto. L’area deve essere sufficientemente ampia per alloggiare l’unità senza problemi
e relativamente piana.
1 FÖRSIKTIGT:
Installera inte grundenheten när airbagen på den
främre passagerarplatsen.
• Kontrollera att installationsplatsen är säker.
• Bestäm monteringsläget på instrumentbrädan.
Platsen bör vara tillräckligt stor för huvudenheten och vara relativt plan.
Installation using Velcro tape
1. Without separating the two pieces of Velcro
tape, peel off the paper backing on one side
and place on the back of the control unit.
2. Make sure the location selected is free from
moisture or dirt. Peel off the backing paper from
the other side of the Velcro tape on the control
unit.
3. Place the control unit on the mounting location
and press the unit firmly to mount securely.
Installation avec la bande Velcro
1. Sans séparer les deux morceaux de la bande
Velcro, enlever la pellicule de protection d'un
côté et coller la bande au dos de l'unité de
commande.
2. S'assurer que l'endroit où la bande doit être
collée est propre et sec. Décoller la pellicule sur
l'autre face de la bande Velcro sur l'unité de
commande.

Instalación utilizando la cinta Velcro
1. Sin separar los dos trozos de cinta Velcro, pele

Installation mit Hilfe von Velcro-Klebeband

Installazione usando del nastro Velcro
1. Senza separare i due pezzi di nastro Velcro,

Installation med kardborrband
1. Vänta med att ta isär de två kardborrbanden,
dra av skyddspapperet på ena sidan av bandet
och klistra fast bandet på kontrollenheten.
2. Se till att monteringsplatsen är ren och inte är
våt eller fuktig. Ta loss skyddspapperet från
den andra sidan av kardborrbandet som nu
sitter på kontrollenheten.
3. Tryck fast kontrollenheten ordentligt på
monteringsplatsen.
Surface mounting using bracket mount
1. After determining the mounting location, install
the bracket mount with screws (M2.9 x 20).
2. Press the control unit into the bracket mount
and lock securely.
Montage en saillie avec le cadre

Montering på en plan yta med skruvfästet
1. Bestäm monteringsplatsen och skruva fast

Installation using flush mount and bracket
mount
1. Cut an opening at the desired mounting location, to match the outer dimensions of the
bracket mount.
2. Press the bracket mount into the flush mount kit
until it locks into place.
3. Insert the control unit into the mounting assembly until it also locks into place.
4. Insert this control unit, bracket mount and flush
mount kit assembly into the opening made in
step 1 and securely lock them into place.

Einbau in das Armaturenbrett und Installation

Installation med det platta fästet och hållaren
1. Gör en öppning vid monteringsplatsen så att

2 Velcro Fastener Mounting
If you didn't use the Velcro fastener supplied to
mount the Control Unit, you can use it to mount
the Base Unit.
Attach to the vehicle (such as under the dashboard).
3 Using the Mounting Screws (Supplied)
The Base Unit can be mounted under the seat
using the mounting screws.

NOTE:
When using the PXA-H510 with a non-Ai-NET
head unit, +12V is required on this line e to turn on
the equalizer. If your head unit does not have a
remote-on or power-antenna turn-on wire, an SPST
switch must be connected between an ignition
source and this terminal. The PXA-H510 can then
be turned on using this switch.
The PXA-H510 can be used with any head unit.
However, only an Alpine Ai-NET compatible head
unit will be able to take full advantage of all the
features and functions of this processor.
REMARQUE:
Lorsque le PXA-H510 est utilisé avec une unité

Vérifier si ce point est une vraie terre en
contrôlant la continuité entre ce point et la
borne négative (–) de la batterie du véhicule.
Pour obtenir les meilleurs résultats et une
protection contre le bruit induit par la voiture,
mettre à la terre tous les appareils audio (au
même point de terre).
REMARQUE:
Fixer le conducteur de mise à la terre de
l’appareil à un point métallique dénudé sur le
châssis de la voiture en utilisant une vis à
métaux.

Conecte este cable a un punto del chasis del
automóvil que ofrezca una buena conexión a
tierra.
Verifique que en este punto efectivamente
haya conexión a tierra; para ello, determine si
hay continuidad entre el punto seleccionado y
el terminal negativo (–) de la batería del vehículo. Para mejores resultados e inmunidad
contra ruido inducido por el vehículo, haga la
conexión a tierra de todos los componentes de
audio al mismo punto del chasis.
NOTA:
Fije el cable de tierra de la unidad a una parte
metálica despejada del chasis del automóvil
usando un tornillo para metales.

Fuse
When replacing the fuse(s), the replacement fuse must be of the same
amperage as shown on the fuse holder. If the fuse(s) blows more than once,
carefully check all electrical connections for shorted circuitry. Also have your
vehicle's voltage regulator checked. Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself; return it to your Alpine dealer or nearest Alpine Service Station for
servicing.
Temperature
In order to ensure proper performance, be sure the temperature in your
vehicle is above 14˚F (–10˚C) and below 140˚F (60˚C) before turning your
unit on. Good air circulation is essential to prevent internal heat build-up in
the unit.
Fusible
