1. Introduction
DEDICATED MICROS TYPE 285 CEILING / WALL MOUNT HOUSING
This range of ceiling / wall mount housings have been designed to provide elegant but cost
effective protection for indoor surveillance cameras. The housing is all steel construction with
replaceable glass window (polycarbonate to special order) powder coated and stoved. The cover is
hinged at the rear with a vandal proof 1/4 turn lock at the front. The base to ceiling fixings are only
accessible when the cover is open, which adds up to a high degree of vandal protection. 20mm
Dia. cable entry holes are provided at the rear and in the base. The camera platform offers a limited
degree of pan & tilt movement which enable the installer to adjust the camera viewing direction
after the housing has been fitted. A Ceiling Tile Option is available comprising the standard housing
mounted to a 3mm thick 600mm (2 foot) square alum alloy ceiling tile via a cable feed through
pivot, with a locking screw.This arrangement enables the housing to be rotated to point in any
desired direction. By the addition of a right angled bracket the housing can be converted to the Wall
Mount Option allowing the camera to be mounted at any position on a wall.

1. Introduction
CAISSON DEDICATED MICROS TYPE 285 A FIXATION MURALE / AU PLAFOND
Les caissons à fixation murale / au plafond de cette gamme ont été conçus pour offrir une
protection à la fois élégante et économique aux caméras de surveillance pour intérieur. Le caisson
est réalisé en acier avec vitre remplaçable en verre (polycarbonate sur commande spéciale) et
revêtement à base de poudre cuit au four. Le capot est articulé à l’arrière et comporte une serrure
1/4 de tour antivandalisme à l’avant. Les vis de fixation de la base au plafond ne sont accessibles
que si le capot est ouvert, ce qui lui confère un degré élevé de protection antivandalisme. Des trous
d’entrée de câble de 20 mm de diamètre sont pourvus à l’arrière et dans la base. La plateforme de
la caméra offre un degré limité de mouvement panoramique et d’inclinaison, ce qui permet à
l’installateur de régler le sens de prise de vue de la caméra après avoir monté le caisson. Une
option Dalle de plafond est disponible et comprend le caisson standard monté sur une dalle de
plafond en alliage d’aluminium de 3 mm d’épaisseur et de 600 mm et passage de câble pivotant,
avec vis de blocage. Cette configuration permet de faire pivoter le caisson pour l’orienter dans le
sens voulu. En ajoutant un support pour fixation à angle droit, le caisson peut être converti en
option Fixation murale permettant de monter la caméra à n’importe quelle position sur un mur.

1. Einleitung
DEDICATED MICROS TYPE 285 GEHÄUSE ZUR DECKEN-/WANDBEFESTIGUNG
Diese Gehäuse zur Decken- oder Wandbefestigung wurden als eleganter und dennoch
kostengünstiger Schutz für Überwachgungskameras in Gebäuden entwickelt. Das Gehäuse besteht
komplett aus pulverbeschichtetem und eingebranntem Stahl und ist mit austauschbaren
Glasfenstern versehen (auf Anfrage auch aus Polycarbonat). Die Abdeckung ist an der Rückseite
aufklappbar und an der Vorderseite mit einem vandalismusgeschützten Bajonettverschluss
versehen. Die Schrauben, mit denen die Bodenplatte an der Decke befestigt wird, sind nur bei
geöffneter Abeckung zugänglich, wodurch ein hohes Maß an Vandalismuschutz entsteht. Die
Rückseite und Bodenplatte enthalten für die Kabelzuführung Löcher mit 20 mm Durchmesser. Die
Kameraplattform bietet ein gewisses Maß an Schwenk- und Neigebewegung, sodass der
Installateur die Blickrichtung der Kamera nach Installation des Gehäuses einstellen kann. Darüber
hinaus ist eine Unterputzmontage möglich, bei der das Standardgehäuse mithilfe einer
Sicherungsschraube und eines Drehgelenk mit Kabeldurchführung auf einer 3 mm dicken
Deckenfliese (600 mm im Quadrat) aus Aluminiumlegierung montiert wird. Bei dieser
Installationsoption kann das Gehäuse in jede gewünschte Richtung gedreht werden. Durch die
Erweiterung um eine rechtwinklige Halterung kann das Gehäuse an der Wand befestigt werden,
sodass die Kamera an jeder beliebigen Stelle einer Wand nstalliert werden kann.

1. Introducción
CARCASA DE MONTAJE EN EL TECHO O EN LA PARED TYPE 285 DE
DEDICATED MICROS
Esta gama de carcasas para montaje en el techo o en la pared ha sido diseñada para proporcionar
una protección elegante, a la par que económica, para cámaras de vigilancia en interiores. La
carcasa está fabricada totalmente en acero con una ventanilla de cristal remplazable (de
policarbonato bajo pedido especial), con recubrimiento en polvo y esmaltada. La tapa tiene
bisagras en la parte trasera con bloqueo de 1/4 de vuelta a prueba de vándalos en la parte
delantera. Sólo se puede acceder a las piezas de fijación del techo cuando la tapa está abierta, lo
que aumenta el nivel de protección contra vandalismo. Los orificios de entrada de los cables de 20
mm de diámetro están colocados en la parte trasera y en la base. La plataforma de la cámara
ofrece un grado limitado de movimiento de la toma panorámica y la inclinación, lo que permite al
instalador ajustar la dirección de visión de la cámara tras instalar la carcasa. Existe la opción de
instalación en falso techo que incluye una carcasa estándar montada en un falso techo de aleación
de aluminio de 600 mm y 3 mm de grosor a través de un pivote por el que pasan los cables, con
un tornillo de retención. Esta disposición permite girar la carcasa para que apunte en la dirección
deseada Además del soporte en ángulo recto, la carcasa puede convertirse para poder montarla
en la pared, lo que permite colocar la cámara en cualquier posición sobre una pared.

ALLOGGIAMENTO CON MONTAGGIO A SOFFITTO/A PARETE DEDICATED
MICROS TYPE 285
Questa gamma di alloggiamenti a soffitto/parete sono stati progettati per offrire una protezione
elegante e conveniente per le telecamere di sorveglianza per interni. L’alloggiamento è interamente
realizzato in acciaio verniciato a polvere ed a forno, con finestrella in vetro sostituibile (in
policarbonato su richiesta). La copertura è fissata con cardini sul retro e con una chiusura
antivandalo a un quarto di giro sulla parte frontale. I supporti di fissaggio della base al soffitto sono
accessibili solo quando la copertura è aperta. Questa caratteristica offre una ulteriore protezione
antivandalo. Sul retro e sulla base sono posizionati fori per cavi del diametro di 20 mm. La
piattaforma della telecamera offre un’angolazione limitata per il movimento del gruppo panoramica
e inclinazione, che consente all’installatore di regolare la direzione della telecamera dopo
l’installazione dell’alloggiamento. È disponibile un’opzione di incasso a soffitto che comporta
l’installazione di un alloggiamento standard su un elemento in lega di alluminio di forma quadrata
(600 mm di lato e 3 mm di spessore), tramite un perno attraverso il quale vengono fatti scorrere i
cavi. Questa struttura consente di ruotare e posizionare l’alloggiamento nella posizione desiderata.
Aggiungendo un supporto ad angolo retto, è possibile montare l’alloggiamento in qualsiasi
posizione sulla parete (opzione di montaggio a parete).
