Application
PROTRONIC - A3000 open non-touch, opto-electronically controlled WC flush valve
DN 20 for concealed installation, with facility for externally controlling options such
as fitting settings and communication via ECC function controller. Split-second
adjustment for flushing duration.
Electronic module with additional input for sensors (buttons) to be provided by the
customer, maximum distance to the electronic module 5 m.
Control functions:
– Time-controlled hygiene flushing, optionally with fixed interval or after a certain
defined time after last usage
– Simultaneity suppression
Additional functions with ECC function controller (Ethernet):
– Safety switch-off
– Cleaning system shut-down

Warning!
• Operate the product only with safety extra low voltage (SELV). Do not earth the
components.
• The power supply (not included in the scope of delivery, see Accessories,
Chapter 17) must be set up outside of the wet area, in a separate room.
• Secure the electric connection with an earth leakage circuit breaker (RCD).
Failure to observe can mean risk of death or material damage, e. g. from electric
shock or fire.

The system line (not included in scope of delivery) for connecting the power supply
to the fittings must be installed in a conduit (to be supplied by customer) and looped
through.
Important!
Before installing, flush the pipes in compliance with DIN 1988.
10.2 Close the water volume regulators with a hollow hexagon wrench.

10.1 Remove the shell protection.
Caution!
While turning the union nuts (c), use an open-end spanner to hold the water volume
regulators (d) in place.
10.3 Remove the flush connector (e) and the existing seals.
10.4 Mount the fitting (f) with new seals.
10.5 Open the water volume regulator.
10.6 Check the water connections for leaks.
10.7 Mount the frame (g) horizontally.
10.8 If necessary, shorten the spacers (h) to fit between the front edge of the recessed
cabinet and the surface of the tiles.
10.9 Install the line connections between the electronic module, the solenoid valve unit
and the opto-sensor.

11. Function
11.1 Approach the sensor.
11.2 Remain in front of the WC flusher at least 5 s.
11.3 Walk away from the sensor and then press the release for handicapped users.

• Water flow stops automatically after a set flow duration.
Flow duration
The flow duration has been factory-set to 10 s. The flow duration can be altered in
steps of 0.1 seconds, from 1-6500 s.

Mode of operation using door contactor (optional):
The system pre-flushes for 1 s when the door is closed.
There is a lockup period of 5 min. between two pre-flushes.
When the door remains locked for more than one minute and neither the sensor nor
the release for handicapped users is actuated within this period, a forced flush is
carried out when the WC door is unlocked.

Forced flushing has been factory set to take place after 24 h of disuse.
Flow duration and forced flushing can be set via the system software.
12. Setting the Signal Range
The signal range can be adjusted with a free program available from Franke (FAR.
Order No. 4897 00 00).

Order No. 4897 00 00).
14. Maintenance and Servicing
Depending on the quality of the water, the local conditions and the rules and regulations applicable on site, the fitting must be maintained and serviced at regular
intervals.
Use suitable cleaning agents that are not harmful to the fittings in a proper manner
and rinse with water after use. High-pressure cleaners must not be used for
cleaning.
Remove the cover plate
To perform maintenance work it is necessary to remove the cover plate.
14.1 Remove the screws (a) from the cover plate.
14.2 Remove the cover plate (b).
14.3 Close the flow volume regulators (Instruction Step 10.2).
14.4 Trigger the valve.
15. Replacing the Plastic Hose
15.2 Press the ring in the arrow direction.
15.3 Pull out the plastic hose.
15.4 Apply a slight pressure to push the plastic hose inwards to the stop.

Application
Robinetterie de WC PROTRONIC - A3000 open à commande opto-électronique
sans contact DN 20, pour le montage mural, avec possibilité de commande externe,
comme le réglage du robinet et la communication via le contrôleur de fonctionnement ECC. Durée de rinçage réglable à la seconde près.
Module électronique avec une entrée supplémentaire pour des capteurs à fournir
par le client (BOUTON-POUSSOIR), distance maximale par rapport au module
électronique 5 m.
Fonctions de commande :
– Rinçages hygiéniques temporisés, avec au choix un intervalle fixe ou une
durée définie après le dernier actionnement

Avertissement !
• Ne faire fonctionner le produit qu’avec la basse tension de protection (SELV). Les
composants ne doivent pas être mis à la terre.
• L’alimentation en tension (non comprise dans la livraison, voir accessoires,
Chapitre 17) doit être placée en dehors de la zone humide dans un local séparé.
• Protéger le raccord électrique avec un interrupteur de protection contre les
courants de court-circuit.

Poser la ligne système (à fournir par le client) dans le tube vide (non compris dans la
livraison) et réaliser une boucle entre l’alimentation en tension et la robinetterie.

10.1 Retirer la protection gros œuvre.
10.2 Fermer les régulations du débit d’eau à l’aide d’une clé mâle coudée pour vis à six
pans creux.

Attention !
Lors du vissage des écrous-raccord (c) avec une clé à fourche, maintenir les régulateurs de débit d’eau (d) en position.
10.3 Retirer la pièce de rinçage(e) et les garnitures d’étanchéité en place.
10.4 Monter le robinet(f) avec de nouvelles garnitures d’étanchéité.
10.5 Ouvrir les régulations du débit d’eau.
10.6 Contrôler l’étanchéité des connexions hydrauliques.
10.7 Monter le cadre (g) à l’horizontale.
10.8 Si nécessaire, raccourcir les douilles d’écartement (h) à la bonne mesure - de l’arête
avant du boîtier à montage mural à l’arête avant du carreau de céramique.
10.9 Effectuer les raccordements de ligne entre le module électronique, le chapeau de
l’électrovanne et le capteur optique.

11. Fonctionnement
11.1 S’approcher du capteur.
11.2 Se tenir au moins 5 s devant l’WC.
• L’eau coule.
• L’écoulement d’eau s’arrête automatiquement en fonction de la durée d’écoulement réglée.

11.3 S’éloigner du capteur ou appuyer sur le déclenchement personnes handicapées.
Durée d’écoulement
La durée d’écoulement est réglée en usine sur 10 s. La durée d’écoulement est
réglable d’1 à 6500 sec, par incréments de 0,1 sec.
Fonctionnement avec le contact de porte (en option) :
Lorsque la porte est fermée, un pré-rinçage a lieu pendant 1 s.
Les pré-rinçages sont espacés d’une durée de verrouillage de 5 min.
Si la porte reste verrouillée pendant plus d’une minute et si, après cette durée, le
capteur ou le déclenchement personnes handicapées ne sont pas actionnés, un
rinçage automatique a lieu lors du déverrouillage de la porte des WC.

Un rinçage automatique après 24 h de non-utilisation est réglé en usine.
La durée d’écoulement et le rinçage automatique peuvent être réglés à l’aide du
logiciel du système.
12. Réglage de la portée
La portée peut être réglée avec le logiciel gratuit (N° de comm. FAR 4897 00 00).
13. Réglage du rinçage hygiénique
Le rinçage hygiénique peut être réglé avec le logiciel gratuit (N° de comm.
FAR 4897 00 00).
14. Maintenance et entretien
La robinetterie doit être contrôlée et entretenue régulièrement en fonction de la
qualité de l’eau, des conditions locales et des dispositions en vigueur sur place.
Utiliser des produits de nettoyage non corrosifs pour la robinetterie et conformément
à leur usage ; rincer ensuite la robinetterie à l’eau pour éliminer toute trace de
produit. Ne pas utiliser d’appareils de nettoyage à haute pression pour effectuer le
nettoyage.
Retrait de la plaque de recouvrement
Pour procéder à certains travaux de maintenance, il est nécessaire de retirer la
plaque de recouvrement.
14.1 Retirer les vis de la plaque de recouvrement (b).
14.2 Retirer la plaque de recouvrement (a).
14.3 Fermer les régulations du débit d'eau (Etape de travail 10.2).

14.4 Déclencher la robinetterie.

15. Remplacement du tuyau flexible
15.1 Retirer la plaque de recouvrement (voir chapitre 14.).
15.2 Enfoncer l’anneau dans le sens de la flèche.
15.3 Extraire le tuyau flexible.
15.4 Enfoncer le tuyau flexible jusqu’en butée en exerçant une légère pression.
15.5 Ouvrir les régulations du débit d’eau (Etape de travail 10.2).
15.6 Monter la plaque de recouvrement.

Aplicación
AQUATIMER - A3000 open sin contacto, grifería para el enjuague del WC DN 20
con control optoelectrónico, de montaje en pared, con posibilidad de control externo,
así como de ajuste de griferías y comunicación por medio del controlador de
funciones ECC. Tiempo de enjuague ajustable al segundo.
Módulo electrónico con una entrada adicional para sensores (DETECTORES) a
disponer por el cliente, separación máxima respecto del módulo electrónico de 5m.
Funciones de control:
– Enjuage higiénico con control cronológico discrecional, bien a intervalos fijos o
bien después de transcurrido un tiempo definido desde su último accionamiento
– Supresión simultánea en red aislada

¡Aviso!
• Hacer funcionar el producto sólo con baja tensión de seguridad (SELV). Los
componentes no deben conectarse a tierra.
• Emplazar el suministro de tensión (no contenido en el volumen de suministro;
véase accesorios, Capítulo 17) fuera de la zona mojada en un recinto extra.
• Asegurar la conexión eléctrica con un interruptor protector de corriente
errónea (RCD).
En caso de no observación existe el riesgo de peligro mortal o de que se produzcan
daños materiales, por ejemplo, por causa de electrocución o fuego.

Han de tenderse y rectificarse las conducciones de sistema (no incluidas en el
volumen de suministro) en el tubo vacío (por parte del dueño de la obra) desde el
suministro de tensión hasta las griferías.
¡Importante!
Antes del montaje, las tuberías deben enjuagarse conforme a la norma DIN 1988.

10.1 Quitar el protector de la obra bruta.
10.2 Cerrar los reguladores de cantidad de agua con una llave de hexágono hembra.

¡Atención!
Al girar las tuercas de racor (c) con una llave abierta (de horquilla), mantener los
reguladores de cantidad de agua (d) en posición.
10.3 Retirar el elemento para el enjuague (e) y las juntas existentes.
10.4 Montar la grifería (f) con las juntas nuevas.
10.5 Abrir el regulador de cantidad de agua.
10.6 Verificar la estanqueidad de las conexiones de agua.
10.7 Montar el marco (g) horizontalmente.
10.8 Eventualmente se deben de recortar los tubos distanciados (h) a la cota – borde
delantero cisterna empotrada hasta el borde delantero de la baldosa.
10.9 Realizar las conexiones de conductores entre el módulo electrónico, el adaptador
de válvula magnética y el sensor óptico.

11. Función
• El agua fluye.
• El flujo de agua se para automáticamente según el tiempo de corriente ajustado.
Tiempo de corriente
El tiempo de corriente de agua viene preajustado de fábrica a 10 s. Se puede
modificar el tiempo de corriente a intervalos de 0,1segundos desde 1-6500 s.
Modo de funcionamiento con contacto de puerta (opcional):
Cuando se cierra la puerte se enjuaga previamente durante 1 s.
Entre dos enjuagues previos hay un tiempo de bloqueo de 5 min.
Si la puerta permanece bloqueada durante un minuto y después de ese tiempo no
se acciona el sensor o el inicio para discapacitados, se produce un auto enjuague
en el momento de desbloquearse la puerta del WC.

De fábrica se ajusta un auto enjuage después de transcurridas 24 h sin que haya
sido utilizado.
El tiempo de corriente y el auto enjuague se pueden ajustar por medio del software
del sistema.
12. Ajustar el alcance
El alcance se puede ajustar con el software gratuito
(FAR.-Núm.de-pedido 4897 00 00).
13. Ajustar el enjuague higiénico
El enjuague higiénico se puede ajustar con el software gratuito
(FAR.-Núm.de-pedido 4897 00 00).
14. Mantenimiento y limpieza
En función de la calidad del agua, las condiciones locales y las prescripciones
locales vigentes ha de comprobarse y hacerse el mantenimiento de la grifería a
intervalos regulares.
Los productos de limpieza apropiados y que no dañen la grifería deben utilizarse
correctamente y tienen que aclararse con agua tras su utilización. Para la limpieza
no se deben emplear limpiadores de alta presión.
Quitar la placa de cubierta
Para algunos trabajos de mantenimiento es necesario retirar la placa de cubierta.

15.2 Presionar el anillo conforme a la dirección de las flechas.

presión.

Uso
PROTRONIC - A3000 open senza contatto, rubinetteria di risciacquo comandata
optoelettronicamente per scatola murale ad incasso, con possibilità di comando
esterno, così come impostazione della rubinetteria e comunicazione tramite
controllore di funzionamento ECC. Durata di risciacquo con precisione di impostazione al secondo.
Modulo elettronico con ulteriore ingresso per sensori da predisporre sul luogo
(PULSANTE), massima distanza dal modulo elettronico 5m.
Funzioni di comando:
– Risciacqui igienici a regolazione temporizzata, a scelta, ad intervalli fissi oppure
secondo un tempo definito dopo l’ultimo azionamento
– Soppresione della contemporaneità

Fra l’alimentazione di tensione e la rubinetteria, inserire il cavo di sistema (non
compreso nella fornitura) in un tubo corrugato (da predisporre sul posto, da parte
dell’utente) e passarlo da un raccordo all’altro.
Importante!
Prima dell’esecuzione del montaggio, spurgare le tubazioni conformemente alla
norma DIN 1988.

10.1 Rimuovere la protezione per costruzione grezza.
10.2 Chiudere le regolazioni della portata d’acqua con l’ausilio di una brugola.

Attenzione!
Quando si serrano i controdadi (c), mantenere in posizione le regolazioni della
portata d’acqua (d) con l’ausilio di una chiave fissa.
10.3 Rimuovere l’elemento di cacciata (e) e le guarnizioni presenti.
10.4 Montare la rubinetteria (f) con le nuove guarnizioni.
10.5 Aprire le regolazioni di portata d’acqua.
10.6 Verificare la tenuta dei raccordi con l’acqua.
10.7 Montare orizzontalmente il telaio (g).
10.8 Se necessario, accorciare i manicotti distanziatori (h) alla quota finale misurata dallo
spigolo anteriore della scatola ad incasso alla superficie anteriore delle piastrelle.
10.9 Connettere i collegamenti dei cavi tra il modulo elettronico, il cappelletto di valvola
elettromagnetica e il sensore ottico.

11. Funzionamento
• L’acqua scorre.
• L’erogazione d’acqua si arresta automaticamente al termine della durata di flusso
impostata.
Durata di flusso
La durata di flusso è preimpostata in fabbrica a 10 s. La durata di flusso è
impostabile a passi di 0,1 secondi da 1 a 6500 s.
Modalitá di funzione con contatto porta (opzionale):
quando la porta viene chiusa, ha luogo un risciacquo per la durata di un secondo.
Fra un risciacquo e l'altro c'é una durata di interdizione di 5 minuti.
Se la porta è chiusa per più di un minuto e dopo questo lasso di tempo non viene
attivato il sensore o il pulsante di azionamento per disabili, verrà eseguito un
risciacquo forzato all'apertura della porta del WC.

Nell'impostazione di fabbrica è definito un risciacquo forzato dopo 24 ore di inutilizzo.
La durata di flusso e il risciacquo forzato possono essere impostati tramite il
software di sistema.
12. Impostazione della portata
La portata può essere impostata con il software gratuito ( N. d'ordine FAR
4897 00 00).
13. Impostazione dello sciacquo igienico
Lo sciacquo igienico può essere impostato con il software gratuito ( N. d'ordine FAR
4897 00 00).
14. Manutenzione e cura
Controllare ed eseguire la manutenzione della rubinetteria ad intervalli regolari, in
funzione della qualità dell’acqua, delle condizioni locali e delle prescrizioni vigenti sul
posto.
Utilizzare detergenti appropriati, che non corrodono la rubinetteria, e risciacquare
con acqua dopo l’uso. Non utilizzare pulitori ad alta pressione per la pulizia.
Rimuovere la piastra di copertura
Per alcuni interventi di manutenzione è necessario rimuovere la piastra di copertura.

Belangrijke aanwijzingen
• Montage, inbedrijfstelling en onderhoud mogen alleen door de vakman volgens
de meegeleverde instructies en volgens de wettelijke voorschriften en erkende
regels van de techniek worden uitgevoerd.
• De technische voorwaarden voor aansluiting van de plaatselijke water- en
energiemaatschappijen moeten in acht worden genomen.
• Wijzigingen zijn voorbehouden.

Toepassing
PROTRONIC - A3000 open contactloos, opto-elektronisch bestuurde WC-spoelarmatuur DN 20 voor inbouw, externe besturing zoals armatuurinstelling en communicatie via ECC-functiecontroller mogelijk. Spoeltijd op de seconde precies instelbaar.
Elektronicamodule met extra ingang voor sensoren (TASTER) (door de klant te
voorzien), maximale afstand met elektronicamodule 5 m.
Besturingsfuncties:
– Tijdgestuurde hygiënische spoelingen, naar keuze met vast interval of na een
gedefinieerde tijd na de laatste activering
– Gelijktijdigheidsonderdrukking
Extra functies met ECC-functiecontroller (ethernet):

11. Werking
11.1 Sensor naderen.
11.2 Ten minste 5 s voor het WC-spoeler blijven staan.
11.3 Weggaan van de sensor of op de activering voor gehandicapten drukken.

Stromingstijd
De stromingstijd is af fabriek ingesteld op 10 s. De stromingstijd kan in stappen van
0,1 seconde tussen 1-6500 s worden gewijzigd.

• De waterstroom stopt automatisch na de ingestelde stromingstijd.
Werkwijze met deurcontact (optioneel):
Als de deur wordt gesloten, wordt er 1 s voorgespoeld.
Tussen twee voorspoelingen ligt een blokkeertijd van 5 min.
Als de deur langer dan een minuut vergrendeld blijft en hierna de sensor of de
activering voor gehandicapten niet wordt geactiveerd, vindt er bij de ontgrendeling
van de WC-deur een gedwongen spoeling plaats.

Af fabriek is een gedwongen spoeling ingesteld na 24 h waarin de armatuur niet is
gebruikt.
Stromingstijd en gedwongen dwoeling kunnen via de systeemsoftware worden
ingesteld.
12. Actieradius instellen
De actieradius kan met de gratis software (FAR.-bestelnr. 4897 00 00) worden
ingesteld.
13. Hygiënische spoeling instellen
De hygiënische spoeling kan met de gratis software (FAR.-bestelnr. 4897 00 00)
worden ingesteld.
14. Onderhoud en verzorging
Afhankelijk van de waterkwaliteit, de plaatselijke omstandigheden en de plaatselijke
voorschriften de armatuur regelmatig controleren en onderhouden.
Er dienen reinigingsmiddelen te worden gebruikt die geschikt zijn voor de armatuur
en deze niet aantasten. Na gebruik met water afspoelen. Er mogen geen
hogedrukreinigers voor de reiniging worden gebruikt.
Afdekplaat verwijderen
Voor een paar onderhoudswerkzaamheden moet de afdekplaat worden verwijderd.

PROTRONIC - A3000 open bezdotykowa, optyczno-elektronicznie sterowana bateria
do spłukiwania WC DN 20 do montażu naściennego i z możliwością zewnętrznego
sterowania, np. ustawianie baterii i komunikacji poprzez sterownik z funkcją korekty
błędów. Możliwość ustawienia czasu spłukiwania z sekundową dokładnością.
Moduł elektroniczny z dodatkowym wejściem na czujniki zapewnione przez
zleceniodawcę (czujniki), maksymalna odległość do modułu elektronicznego 5 m.

Czas przepływu jest wstępnie ustawiony przez producenta na 10 s. Czas przepływu
można zmieniać co 0,1sekundy w przedziale 1 6500 s.

Funkcjonowanie z zestykiem drzwiowym (opcjonalnie):
Gdy drzwi zostaną zamknięte, następuje wstępne spłukiwanie przez 1 s.
Pomiędzy wstępnym spłukiwaniem następuje czas blokady wynoszący 5 min.
W przypadku, gdy drzwi zostaną zablokowane na dłużej niż jedna minuta i po tym czasie
nie zostanie uruchomiony czujnik lub wywołanie dla osób niepełnosprawnych, wówczas

14. Konserwacja i pielęgnacja

jakości wody, miejscowych warunków oraz lokalnych regulacji i przepisów.
Używać odpowiedniego, bezpiecznego dla armatury środka czyszczącego, stosując go
zgodnie z zaleceniami i wypłukując wodą po użyciu. Nie wolno czyścić urządzenia myjką
