My patient is carrying a quantity of the medicament
Copaxone® that corresponds to his/her normal daily
consumption (Section 73, German Medicines Act). It has to be
injected subcutaneously every day and is supplied in sterile
packed syringes. The solution consists of glatiramer acetate
(20 mg), mannitol (40 mg) and water. The ready-for-use
syringes are not pressurised, and there have not been any
problems with transporting them on flights in aircraft cabins
to date. The medication must be stored at between +2 and
+8 °C. Since temperatures below 0 °C must be avoided, it is
essential that my patient takes his/her medication into the
cabin.
Mon patient transporte la quantité de médicament Copaxone®
nécessaire à son utilisation normale personnelle (§ 73 AMG).
Ce médicament doit lui être injecté quotidiennement par voie
sous-cutanée et est livré sous forme de seringues sous
emballage stérile. La solution se compose d'acétate de
glatiramère (20 mg), de mannitol (40 mg) et d’eau. Les
seringues prêtes à l’emploi ne sont pas sous pression et,
jusqu’ici, aucun problème n’est survenu quant à leur transport
en cabine. Ce médicament doit être stocké à une température
située entre +2 et +8 °C. Comme il est essentiel d’éviter de
l’exposer à des températures en dessous de 0°C, il est
impératif que ce médicament voyage en cabine.
Glatiramer acetate can be stored or transported at room
temperature (15 °C to 25 °C) for up to 1 month without
harm.
Dès lors que le médicament a été conservé au frais de manière
continue depuis sa fabrication, la chaîne du froid peut être
interrompue une fois et pour une durée maximale de un mois.
Pendant cette période, les seringues prêtes à l'emploi peuvent
être conservées à température ambiante (15 - 25° C).

Il mio paziente porta con sè il medicinale Copaxone® nella
quantità corrispondente al suo normale fabbisogno quotidiano
(art. 73 della Legge tedesca sui medicinali). Questo medicinale
deve essere iniettato per via sottocutanea e viene fornito
all’interno di siringhe in confezione sterile. La soluzione
consiste di glatirameracetato (20 mg), mannitolo (40 mg) ed
acqua. Le siringhe pronte non sono pressurizzate e fino ad
oggi non ci sono mai stati problemi dovuti al loro trasporto in
cabina nel corso di viaggi aerei. Questo medicinale deve essere
conservato a temperature comprese tra +2 e +8 °C. Poichè è
necessario evitare di esporre il medicinale a temperature
inferiori a 0 °C, è assolutamente necessario trasportare il
medicinale in cabina.

Se il medicinale è stato conservato in frigorifero per un lungo
periodo, la refrigerazione dello stesso può essere interrotta per
un periodo massimo di un mese. Durante questo mese le
siringhe pronte devono essere conservate a temperatura
