Nella celebrazione dei divini misteri ha notevole importanza la musica sacra; l’organo poi
è tenuto in grande onore nella Chiesa latina, esso infatti, accompagnando i canti e i momenti
liturgici, può aggiungere splendore alla celebrazione, favorire la preghiera dei fedeli e innalzare
la loro mente a Dio.
Dato lo stretto legame tra organo, musica e canto nelle azioni liturgiche e nei pii esercizi
del popolo cristiano, è particolarmente significativa la benedizione celebrata prima del suo
uso liturgico.

[I] Il Signore, che i Santi lodano senza fine, sia sempre con voi.
Tum Custos Terræ Sanctæ adstantes ad benedictionem accipiendam disponit his vel
similibus verbis:
Fratelli e sorelle, siamo qui riuniti per la benedizione del nuovo organo, che
renderà più lieta e solenne la celebrazione della divina liturgia. Anche l'arte
musicale a servizio del culto tende allo scopo primario di dar gloria a Dio e di
santificare gli uomini.
Il suono dell’organo nel contesto celebrativo, sostiene il canto unanime dei
fedeli, espressione di quel cantico nuovo che sarà veramente tale se all’accordo
degli strumenti e delle voci si unirà la santità della vita. Canteremo bene se
vivremo bene sulla via indicata dalla divina volontà, nell’armonia della carità
fraterna.
[D] Brüder und Schwestern, wir sind zusammengekommen, um diese neue Orgel zu segnen, die
die Feier der göttlichen Geheimnisse froh und feierlich gestalten soll. Die Kunst der geistlichen
Musik hat als erstes Ziel, Gott zu loben und die Menschen zu heiligen. Der Klang der Orgel
innerhalb des Gottesdienst unterstützt den einmütigen Gesang der Gläubigen, der Ausdruck
des neuen Liedes ist, das wir, wie die Schrift sagt, singen, wenn unsere Stimmen und unser
Leben im Einklang sind. Wir singen es gut, wenn wir nach der Tonart des göttlichen Willens
und in der Harmonie der brüderlichen Liebe leben.
[E] My dear brothers and sisters, we have come together to bless this new organ, installed
so that the celebration of the liturgy maybecome more beautiful and solemn. The purpose of
music in the liturgy is above all to give glory to God and to lead us to holiness. Thus the music
of the organ wonderfully expresses the new song that Scripture tells us to sing to the Lord. To
sing this new song is to live rightly, to follow God’s will eagerly and gladly, and, by loving
one another, to carry out the new commandment that Jesus gave us.

Sing gratefully to God from your hearts
Cantando a Dio di cuore e con gratitudine
Ihr seid von Gott geliebt, seid seine auserwählten Heiligen. Darum bekleidet
euch mit aufrichtigem Erbarmen, mit Güte, Demut, Milde, Geduld! Ertragt euch
gegenseitig und vergebt einander, wenn einer dem andern etwas vorzuwerfen
hat. Wie der Herr euch vergeben hat, so vergebt auch ihr! Vor allem aber liebt
einander, denn die Liebe ist das Band, das alles zusammenhält und vollkommen
macht. In eurem Herzen herrsche der Friede Christi; dazu seid ihr berufen als

Glieder des einen Leibes. Seid dankbar! Das Wort Christi wohne mit seinem

Singt Gott in eurem Herzen Psalmen, Hymnen und Lieder, wie sie der Geist
eingibt, denn ihr seid in Gottes Gnade. Alles, was ihr in Worten und Werken tut,
geschehe im Namen Jesu, des Herrn. Durch ihn dankt Gott, dem Vater!
[E] Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, heartfelt compassion, kindness,
humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if one
has a grievance against another; as the Lord has forgiven you, so must you also do. And over

[I] Rivestitevi, come eletti di Dio, santi e amati, di sentimenti li misericordia, di bontà, di umiltà,
di mansuetudine, di pazienza, sopportandovi a vicenda e perdonandovi scambievolmente, se
qualcuno abbia di che lamentarsi nei riguardi degli altri. Come il Signore vi ha perdonato, così
fate anche voi. Al di sopra di tutto poi vi sia la carità, che è il vincolo della perfezione. E la

Tum episcopus, manibus extensis, benedictionis orationem profert:
Sii benedetto, Signore Dio nostro,
bellezza antica e sempre nuova,
che governi il mondo con la tua sapienza
e con la tua bontà lo rivesti di splendida luce;
a te cantano i cori degli angeli,
sempre pronti ad ogni tuo cenno;
a te inneggiano gli astri del cielo,
nel ritmo costante del cosmo;
te santo proclama l’assemblea dei redenti,
e con il cuore, la voce, la vita
celebra la gloria del tuo nome.
Anche noi, tuo popolo,

Lauf des Kosmos. Dich, Heiliger, bekennt die Gemeinschaft der Erlösten, mit Herz, Stimme

and your goodness gives the world its variety and splendor. The choirs of angels join together
to offer their praise by obeying your commands. The galaxies sing your praises by the pattern
of their movement that follows your laws. The voices of the redeemed join in a chorus of praise
to your holiness as they sing to you in mind and heart. We your people, joyously gathered in
this church, wish to join our voices to the universal hymn of praise. So that our song may rise
more worthily to your majesty, we present this organ for your blessing: grant that its music
may lead us to express our prayer and praise in melodies that are pleasing to you. We ask this
through Christ our Lord.

Regina Cœli
Pierluigi Comparin studied first with his father and then at the Conservatories of
Vicenza, Verona and Venice, graduating in Organ and Organ Composition, Choral
Music and Choir Conducting and Prepolyphony. He has taken specialization courses
with the Maestros Innocenti, Langlais, Koopmann and Radulescu.
He has an intense concert activity in Italy and abroad as organ and harpsichord soloist
of the Baroque group I Musici della Serenissima. He has been the conductor, since
it was founded, of the Gruppo Corale Polifonico Isola Vicentina, (now I Polifonici
Vicentini) with whom he has received prestigious recognitions (seven first prizes) both
nationally and internationally: Riva del Garda, Arezzo, Stresa, Vittorio Veneto, Adria
and Quartiano. He has made many recordings of choral and organ music (Distributed
by Rainbow classic).
