POLITECNICO DI TORINO Collegio di Ingegneria Chimica e dei Materiali Master of Sciences: Textile Engineering In addition to the delivery of your Thesis to the Coordinator of the College of Chemical and Materials Engineering (or his delegate), it is required that the candidate delivers, according to the calendar that will be indicated, a summary of his thesis to each of the commissioners. This summary must be delivered in printed form, and should not exceed 2 pages, printed sided on 1 sheet of A4 format. The candidate can download the WORD file with the "template" of the summary, customized as the CdS requests, modifying it by entering the information of your paper (title, supervisor, ...) and print it. It is responsibility of the candidate to replace the highlighted fields with the indicated information. The summary of the Thesis must have the following structure: • A paragraph to illustrate the general context in which the work of the candidate is placed, and the aim of the Thesis; • One or more paragraphs in which you describe the methods (experimental and modeling) used by candidate to achieve the objectives; • One or more paragraphs to describe, in short, the results achieved. The candidates are asked to use the Times New Roman font, with a size not less than 10 pt (preferably 11 or 12 pt). While preparing the summary, the candidate is invited to enter figures to facilitate the understanding of what it is explained in the text. Each figure should be numbered (starting from 1 and increasing numbers), it must have a caption (below the figure itself), and for each figure there must be a reference in the text. Similarly, there can be inserted tables: each table should be numbered (starting from 1 and increasing numbers), it must have a caption (above the table), and for each table there must be a reference in the text. It is the responsibility of the candidate to verify that the figures (and tables) used are legible.
