Musicians attending Musica 2000 could be hosted
at Agriturismo Il Rigo (Farmhouse Bed and
Breakfast-S.Quirico d’’Orcia), a peaceful oasis
between the Sienese hills, not far from Montalcino
(the Brunello wine land) Pienza, (the
Renaissance Town designed by Rossellino) and
Bagno Vignoni (Ancient Roman Thermal pool).
The lessons and recording sessions will be held in
the home rooms, which will be free also for
rehearsals during the day. At Il Rigo there are
three pianos available for rehearsals and a
baby-grand piano in the main drawing room.
Recording Sessions will be done also in the
Concert Spaces.

The cultural association Amici di Musica negli
Horti, Ema Records Music Label and Il Rigo
Farmhouse B&B - S. Quirico d’’Orcia (SI),
offer to musicians and chamber esembles the
chance of a meeting in the wonderful Valdorcia (
Siena, Tuscany,Italy), where they can study a
contemporary chamber music repertoire under
the guidance of international artists such as
Adam Simmon(Australia), Kamran Khacheh
(Iran), Alessandro Magini, Stefano Parrino,
Maurizio Pagliarini, Alessandra Garosi (Italy).
Ensembles can study and perform, beside pieces
from thei own repertoire, a piece that a
remarkable international will write especially for
them. Some of the best performances and
compositions will be recorded professionally and
will be included in the CD "Green Notes" edited
by EmaRecords and distributed on international
channels. Ema Records will also give a
certificate of the recording to every partecipant.
