As part o f the framewo rk o f the co mmitment o f the Kingdo m in the fight against climate change, the "LEP" is so cial ho using
pilo t pro ject to Po sitive Energy. This co nstructio n mo del is part o f a list o f co llabo rative pro jects to make the assets o f Cluster
EMC. It is part o f the co nstructio n pro cess co mplies with Energy Efficiency in the Co nstructio n Co de (CEEB) and acco rding to
the new Thermal Building Regulatio ns in Mo ro cco (RTCM). Lo cated in the heart o f the Scho o l o f Educatio n Mo hammed VI in
Building and Trades o f Public Wo rks OFPPT in the Settat regio n, the "LEP" (So cial Ho using fo r Po sitive Energy) is a pilo t
pro ject initiated by the Cluster EMC (Energy efficiency o f Building Materials), and in partnership with the Office o f Vo catio nal
Training fo r Emplo yment Pro mo tio n (OFPPT), EIS (Energy Investment Co mpany), GIZ DKTI (German Initiative fo r techno lo gy

Energy) is a pilo t pro ject initiated by the Cluster EMC (Energy efficiency o f Building Materials), and in partnership with the Office
o f Vo catio nal Training fo r Emplo yment Pro mo tio n (OFPPT), EIS (Energy Investment Co mpany), GIZ DKTI (German Initiative
fo r techno lo gy climate friendly) and all members and partners o f the Cluster. The "SARA" was part o f the inaugural to ur by His
Majesty King Mo hammed VI o f the largest training scho o l in the building trades and public wo rks in Africa. The Cluster EMC,
Owner o f this pro ject, brings to gether co mpanies, industrial and service pro viders, co nsultants, architects, develo pers, and
universities, wo rking fo r the pro mo tio n o f sustainable building in Mo ro cco . The cluster remains the first African chapter o f the
internatio nal netwo rk dedicated to the enviro nmental transitio n o f the building. To emphasize that the Cluster EMC is
suppo rted by the Ministry o f Industry, Trade, Investment and the Digital Eco no my. EMC cluster has set a task, impro ving the
co mpetitiveness o f the co nstructio n materials industry by pro viding inno vative so lutio ns in terms o f energy efficiency. Amo ng
the treaties strategic areas within the cluster co mmissio ns, include: - Optimizatio n o f energy co nsumptio n - the develo pment
o f inno vative energy efficiency so lutio ns - Pro mo ting the use o f energy-efficient so lutio ns - the mo bilizatio n and training o f
skills in the field o f energy efficiency "EMC cluster aims to establish a synergy between, o n o ne side the research and training
institutio ns and o ther industrialists and pro fessio nals creatio n chain will them in the act o f building. This co llabo rative pro ject
is the result o f this desire, "said Rachid Naanani, President o f Cluster EMC. The o bjective o f this pro ject was to succeed the
challenge to pro vide co mfo rt fo r all. So cial ho using po sitive energy "LEP" is a building who se central principle result o f the
po sitive balance between the energy pro duced and energy co nsumed. The go al is to reduce energy requirements, maintain
co mfo rtable temperatures, humidity co ntro l and pro mo te natural lighting. This is the "first so cial ho using po sitive energy in
Mo ro cco ." It is part o f the co nstructio n pro cess co mplies with Energy Efficiency in the Co nstructio n Co de (CEEB) and
acco rding to the new Thermal Building Regulatio ns in Mo ro cco (RTCM). The pro ject aims to be a bridge between training and
Mo ro ccan industry. The pro ject launched by His Majesty King Mo hammed VI January 27, 20 16 is certainly a unifying to o l in the
field o f sustainable co nstructio n in the Kingdo m. This implementatio n is intended in the sho rt term a case study to real and
replicable scale, but also in the lo ng term, a bridge between OFPPT the training scho o l and lo cal industry, bo th in terms o f
training and in terms practice.
De scrizio ne archit e t t o nica : Bio climatic architecture. This first Mo ro ccan experience in the so cial ho using segment
highlights a simple and ambitio us architecture. "Thro ugh this achievement, we wanted to ensure that the thermal and aco ustic
co mfo rt in ho using within the reach o f all Mo ro ccan citizens," said Ahmed Belamine, Pro ject Architect o f the first so cial
ho using po sitive energy in Mo ro cco "LEP "and President o f the Co mmissio n Sustainable Building Cluster EMC. Furthermo re,
this achievement sho wcases the Mo ro ccan industrial no ting the challenge o f achieving a rate o f integratio n o f lo cal materials
exceeding 9 5%. The pro ject meets the requirements o f the specificatio ns Mo ro ccan lo ads fo r so cial ho using. It extends o ver a
co vered area o f
6 4 m2 and a net area o f
55 m2, in acco rdance with the specificatio ns o f so cial ho using in Mo ro cco so ld
250 0 0 0 - DHS; It is a co nstructio n with o ptimized o rientatio n fo r bo th the thermal co mfo rt the pho to vo ltaic efficiency. Its
po sitio n pro vides thermal inertia ensuring o ccupant co mfo rt bo th during winter and summer. The o penings have been studied
fo r a renewal o f air in the ho me and pro viding hygienic co nditio ns and o ptimal health to the peo ple.

is a replicable case study, but also a bridge between training institutes in the business o f co nstructio n and lo cal industry, bo th
in terms o f training and in terms o f practice.
