Cresce il successo internazionale
dell'Eroica, la cicloturistica d'epoca che

del Chianti, in provincia di Siena. Il
prestigioso giornale britannico "The
Independent" ha inserito infatti L'Eroica
tra le 50 gite in bicicletta, unica
italiana, consigliate ai propri lettori con

sottolinea
l'unicità
dell'Eroica che
prevede la
partecipazione

L'internazionalità dell'evento è un
elemento confermato dal numero di
iscrizioni
all'edizione
2010,
in
programma
domenica
3
ottobre,
edizione che sarà preceduta da
numerosi eventi collaterali sia sportivi
che di
approfondimento culturale
specialmente riferito al ciclismo eroico e
per questo immortale. Al termine del
primo periodo le iscrizioni sono giunte a
quota 1850 con una proiezione finale a
circa 3000 presenze. Gli stranieri già
iscritti sono oltre 450, con una proiezione
finale di circa 600 presenze, finora da:
Albania, Austria,
Belgio,
Brasile,
Canada, Danimarca, Finlandia, Francia,
Germania, Gran Bretagna, Irlanda, Italia,
Lussemburgo,
Norvegia,
Olanda,
Polonia, Repubblica Ceca, Romania,
Spagna, Svizzera, Ungheria, Usa.
Quattro i percorsi a disposizione; Km 38,
Km 75, km 135 e km 205, il traguardo
più ambìto e prestigioso.

has placed the Eroica among the 50 best bike rides
The international success of the Eroica,
the vintage cyclosportive that takes
place along
the beautiful white
gravel roads of Chianti, near Siena
continues to grow. The prestigious
British newspaper, The Independent, has
included the Eroica in its list of
the 50 best bike rides - and the only
Italian one - recommended to readers of
its
website:

46. The article highlights the unique
feature of the Eroica which only allows
the participation of vintage bicycles. The
number of entries already confirmed
for the 2010 edition, scheduled for
Sunday, 3 October is an indication of
the international success
of
the
event. This edition will be preceded by
numerous sporting and cultural events,
especially related to 'heroic' cycling and
therefore
immortal.
Already
1,850 entrants have registered and
approximately 3,000 participants are
expected on the day. About 600 foreign
cyclists are expected to participate with
over 450 already registered, from:
Albania, Austria, Belgium, Brazil,
Canada, Denmark, Finland, France,
Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy,
Luxembourg,
Netherlands,

possible: 38km, 75km, 135km
and 205km, the most prestigious.
