Dal Columbus Carbon Lab (CCL), nasce il nuovo Telaio Monoscocca GENIUS realizzato in Fibra di
Carbonio Toray H60 laminato 3K. GENIUS si distingue subito per il suo design: nulla è lasciato al caso.
La perfetta integrazione del telaio tra sistema meccanico ed elettronico Di2 o EPS ne migliora
notevolmente l’aerodinamica. Una volta in sella, IlTelaio GENIUS rivela doti eccezionali di guidabilità e
precisione, risultato del miglior compromesso tra rigidità, comfort e leggerezza (900 g Tg M).
Molte delle innovazioni presenti in questo telaio sono frutto dello studio e delle simulazioni al
computer di tutte le sollecitazioni a cui GENIUS è sottoposto in ogni condizione di utilizzo. Lo sterzo
differenziato da 1,5” – 1-1/8”, i posteriori orizzontali asimmetrici (DELTA Shape) con forcellini in
carbonio che si fondono in un unico elemento con la scatola del movimento centrale ed il tubo sella
(NANO MATERIAL MEGA SECTION) giocano un ruolo fondamentale nella distribuzione ottimale ed
omogenea di tutti gli sforzi originati durante la pedalata e fanno del telaio GENIUS l’ideale per corse
Gran Fondo e Pro Race.
GENIUS è disponibile in 6 taglie decisamente “corsaiole” frutto della lunga esperienza fatta di
collaborazioni con le case di maggior prestigio produttrici di cicli da corsa.
GENIUS FRAME
Created by Columbus Carbon Lab. (C.C.L.), the new GENIUS monocoque road-racing frame is
constructed from Toray H60 3K carbon-fibre laminate for optimum performance. GENIUS has
established an enviable reputation for its clean, smooth design. Aerodynamics are further improved
by internal cable routing for mechanical derailleurs and adapters for seamless integration with
Shimano Di2 and Campagnolo EPS electronic shifting systems. Once in the saddle, you’ll immediately
feel the benefits of the exceptionally accurate handling and precise tracking – GENIUS represents the
best compromise between stiffness, comfort and lightness (an astonishing 900 g. in size M).
The 1,5” – 1-1/8” tapered head tube (IS 45°), asymmetric carbon-fibre chainstays and monobloc
bottom bracket shell (BB86) all play a role in ensuring that all of your efforts are used to push the bike
forward – further and faster. GENIUS is ideal for pro-racing Gran Fondo events. Many of the
innovations in the GENIUS frame are the result of extensive studies and computer simulations of all
the stresses inherent in professional cycle racing.
GENIUS is available in six sizes, in unashamedly racing geometries – the fruit of many years experience
of collaboration with the most prestigious manufacturers of racing bikes.
