Ormai da tempo il vetro si è meritato un posto fisso nell’architettura quale elemento costruttivo e di design. Tuttavia, le balaustre in
vetro rappresentano ancora una sfida per qualunque progettista, architetto o esperto di statica, nonché per gli addetti alla costruzione e al
loro montaggio. Per rispondere a queste particolari esigenze, GM RAILING® offre oggi una soluzione completamente innovativa.
I moduli in vetro prefabbricati vengono inseriti nei profili di supporto, che dovranno essere montati in fase di costruzione e assicurati tra loro
per mezzo di viti a testa cilindrica o particolari distanziali, consentendo una tolleranza di bilanciamento della posizione verticale fino a +/- 2
cm di altezza del corrimano.
GM RAILING® è stato sviluppato appositamente per vetri stratificati composti da vetri float, ma può essere impiegato anche per vetri stratificati composti da vetri induriti. Grazie al serraggio nel binario portante, non è necessaria la foratura del vetro, ottenendo così un notevole
risparmio di oneri e costi in fase di pianificazione e montaggio. Non sono richieste, inoltre, autorizzazioni speciali né tanto meno particolari
test degli elementi costruttivi con riferimento ai singoli progetti: grazie al processo di sistematizzazione, possono essere ottenuti vantaggi in
ogni ambito.
GM RAILING® colpisce, inoltre, per le molteplici possibilità applicative: articolato in sette tipologie di base (Solo, Top, Side, Level, Massive,
Plan e Front), grazie alle numerose varianti e alle esecuzioni speciali, consente un impiego quasi universale: che si tratti di montaggio laterale
o applicazione a livello del pavimento, di fissaggio “trasparente” o sottoposto a forti sollecitazioni, GM RAILING® è la soluzione giusta.
Glas hat als Baustoff und Gestaltungsmittel in der Architektur längst einen Fixplatz. Ganzglasgeländer sind jedoch noch immer eine
Herausforderung für jeden Planer, Architekten oder Statiker — ganz zu schweigen von Konstruktion und Montage. GM RAILING® bietet für
diese besonderen Anforderungen eine völlig neue Lösung.
Die vorgefertigten Glasbau-Module werden in die am Bau zu montierenden Unterkonstruktionsprofile eingehängt und mit Zylinderschrauben
bzw. speziellen Abstandstücken miteinander verschraubt. Diese Verschraubung lässt einen Toleranzausgleich der vertikalen Stellung von bis
zu +/- 2 cm auf Holmhöhe zu.
GM RAILING® wurde speziell für VSG aus Float entwickelt. Es ist auch VSG aus TVG einsetzbar. Durch die Einspannung in die Tragschiene sind
keine Glasbohrungen notwendig. Dies reduziert Planungs-, Montageaufwand und Kosten. Sonderzulassung und projektbezogene Bauteilversuche sind nicht erforderlich. Durch die Systematisierung können in allen Bereichen Vorteile generiert werden.
GM RAILING® besticht darüber hinaus durch vielseitige Anwendungsmöglichkeiten. Basierend auf sieben Grundtypen — Solo, Top, Side,
Level, Massive, Plan und Front — lassen sich über zahlreiche Varianten und Spezialausführungen nahezu alle Anforderungen realisieren. Ob
seitliche Montage, fl ächenbündige oder seitentransparente Anbringung oder besonders starke Ausführung — GM RAILING® ist die richtige

Glass as a building material and means of design in architecture has long played a well-established role. Full glass railings are, however,
still a challenge for every planner, architect or structural engineer – not to mention construction and assembly. Glas Marte has developed a
completely new solution for this particular challenge.
With their prefabricated glass construction modules in connection with a substructure profile and a continuous handrail, the GM Railing
product range allows for a linear bearing without vertical support. The mounting base made of concrete, steeel or wood must be sufficiently
able to carry a load, and at the same time be adjusted to the glazing system. The prefabricated glass construction modules are hung in the
underconstruction profiles to be assembled on site, and are screwed together with cheese hed screws or particular spacers. This screwed
connection allows for a tolerance compensation of the vertical position of up to +/- 2 cm at rail level.
GM Railing was developed especially for laminated safety glass made of float glass. Laminated safety glass made of tempered glass may also
be used. Due to the fixation in the bearing rail, no glass boreholes are required. This reduces planning costs, assembly costs and expenses.
Special approvals and project-related component tests are not necessary. This systematization provides a wide range of customer benefits.
GM Railing further excels in its versatile applications. Based on five basic types – Top, Side, Level, Massive and Plan – nearly all requirements

GM RAILING® Plan è un principio di fissaggio che parla un linguaggio architettonico chiaro e univoco, colpisce per il livellamento delle superfici ed è raffinato in ogni dettaglio. All’occhio
risulta visibile solo il vetro.
Ciò che all’altezza del corrimano dà origine a una protezione
anticaduta in vetro, nel punto di contatto con il pavimento si
fonde a livello della superficie con la struttura. La superficie
vetrata esterna sovrasta la struttura del pavimento e del soffitto,
andando a finire solo nell’intersezione con il solaio sottostante.
I punti di attacco non sono visibili, non sono presenti elementi
sporgenti sulla facciata esterna in vetro e non risulta alternanza
di materiali. Poiché GM RAILING® Plan è frutto di uno speciale sviluppo, le indicazioni generali riportate sul prospetto per
questo prodotto sono impiegabili solo in forma modificata.

Was als Absturz sichernde Verglasung beim Handlauf beginnt,
verschmilzt im Berührungspunkt des Fußbodens flächenbündig mit der Konstruktion. Die äußere Glasfläche überragt den
Fußbodenaufbau und die Deckenkonstruktion und endet erst
am Schnittpunkt mit der darunter liegenden Decke. Die Befestigung selbst ist nicht sichtbar, es gibt kein abstehendes Bauteil
auf der Glasaußenseite und keinen Materialwechsel. Das Produkt GM RAILING® Plan ist eine spezielle Entwicklung. Generelle Prospektangaben sind bei diesem Produkt teilweise nur in

The mounting principle GM Railing Plan is a railing connection
carrying a clear and unambiguous architectural message. It is
impressive due to its levelness with the adjacent areas and its
sophisticated features. Only glass is visible – there are no compromises.
What starts as a glazing, providing protection against falls at
the handrail, merges with the construction flush and its adjacent
areas, the point of contact being the floor. The external glass
surface projects above the floor construction and the ceiling
construction, and only ends at the intersection with the ceiling
below. The mounting itself is not visible, there is no protruding
component on the outside of the glass, and no change in material. The GM Railing Plan product is a special developmentl.

An integrally molded flange serves as a supporting surface for
a false floor should it be required. With its 20 to 24 mm wide
internal metal edging, we have created a clear-cut ending that
is particularly important for wet cleaning and popular among
customers. Similar to all other designs, the railing is fitted using
a specially fabricated profile. The pocket and suspended profiles
are perfectly matched and vouch for fast and simple assembly.

La vetrata anticaduta sporge da una scanalatura nel pavimento,
grazie a un particolare profilo d’armatura, da montarsi prima del
rivestimento in calcestruzzo. L’“anima interiore” della struttura
viene inserita solo dopo la rimozione del profilo d’armatura.
Nella serie U, al termine del processo d’indurimento, il profilo
viene rimosso dal cemento e smaltito. Questo processo conferisce una chiara geometria per l’incastro del vetro.

Aus einer Nut im Boden ragt die absturzsichernde Verglasung.
Dies wird durch ein spezielles Schalungsprofil erreicht, welches
vor dem Betonieren zu montieren ist. Das konstruktive „Innenleben“ wird erst nach dem Entfernen des Schalungsprofi eingebracht. Bei der Baureihe U wird nach dem Aushärtevorgang das
Profi l aus dem Beton entfernt und entsorgt. Dieser Ablauf gibt
für die Glasmontage eine klare Geometrie vor.
Level U
The GM Railing Level range has been designed for applications
where the mounting unit for the glass railing has been recessed
in the floor area (concrete or steel). Only the respective floor
and the protruding glass itself are visible.
The glazing that provides a protection against falls protrudes
from a groove in the floor. This is achieved by a particular casing profile which must be assembled before concreting. The
constructive “inside” will inly be fitted after the casing profile
has been removed.
With the U range, the profile is removed from the concrete after
curing and is disposed of. This procedure provides clear geometry for the assembly of the glass.

La vetrata anticaduta affiora da una sottile fessura nel pavimento, grazie a un particolare profilo d’armatura, da montarsi prima del rivestimento in calcestruzzo. La “vita interiore”
della struttura è protetta da un ulteriore profilo di protezione
dell’armatura, rimosso solo dopo la levigatura meccanica della
superficie a vista. In questa serie, il profilo rimane nel cemento
anche al termine del processo d’indurimento, così che il punto
di contatto vetro/rivestimento del pavimento risulti il più ridotto
possibile.
Baureihe LEVEL A
Aus einem schmalen Schlitz im Boden ragt die absturzsichernde Verglasung. Dies wird durch ein spezielles Schalungsprofil
erreicht, welches vor dem Betonieren zu montieren ist. Das
konstruktive „Innenleben“ ist durch ein zusätzliches Schalungsabdeckprofil geschützt und wird meist erst nach dem mechanischen Abschleifen der Sichtbodenfläche entfernt. Bei der
Baureihe A verbleibt das Profil nach dem Aushärtevorgang im
Beton. Dadurch ist der Berührungspunkt Glas/Bodenbelag sehr
schmal ausgeführt.
Level A
The glazing that provides a protection against falls protrudes
from a narrow slit in the floor. This is achieved by a particular
casing profile which must be assembled before concreting. The
constructive”inside” is protected by an extra casing cover profile, and will usually be removed only after mechanical abrasion
of the exposed floor area.
With the A range, the profile will remain in the concrete after
curing. Therefore the contact point of glass/floor covering has
a very slim design.
