-6.00p.m. Welcome Cocktail at Hotel Ancora
• Monday, february 20
-10.00 a.m. Exciting walk with snowshoes across an old larch forest trail from Rio Gere to Refuge
Mietres
-12.30 p.m. Lunch at Refuge Mietres where traditional dishes will be served
• Tuesday, february 21
-9.30 a.m. Meeting point in front of Hotel de La Poste in Cortina. Day Trip to Dobbiaco, “Door to
the Dolomites”
-Walk in Val Pusteria - Mahler’s house, where the great composer used to stay in order to concentrate
thanks to the pristine woods and mountains
-1.00 p.m. breakfast at the “cellar of the castle” Schloss Keller, cozy little restaurant in the heart of
the small town of Alta Pusteria. Return to Cortina at 5.00 p.m.
• Wednesday february 22
-9.00 a.m. optional sport activity with Kristian Ghedina, the most successful Italian downhill skier
in the history of World Cup
-4.30 p.m. Hotel Europa, headquarter of our Club
-Friendship Tea: exchange of ideas and experiences between the Italian and the foreign clubs
-7.30 p.m. Buffet-end meeting and Piano bar
• Thursday, february 23
-10.00 a.m. optional walk with snowshoes to the discovery of Antruiles Paradise in the Natural Park
of the Ampezzo Dolomites with Ranger Giordano Menardi
-7.30 p.m. Carnival Dinner at Crignes Restaurant with special appearance by Maxim, the famous
illusionist
-Dress code, costume and mask theme: “The Circus”
• Friday, february 24
- 10.00 a.m. optional, restoring meditation walk in the nature of the Dolomites with Yoga teacher,
Stefano Lorenzi
-7.30 p.m. Restaurant Meloncino “Al Camineto” for interclub Valle Umbra “The Melon Family
embraces the tradition of Valle Umbra in partnership with Cook Maria Luisa Scolastra”
Gala dinner with a stunning view of the Ampezzo Valley at the foot of the majestic group of Tofane
After the convivial there will be the chance to buy some typical products of Valle Umbra in order to
support the victims of the earthquake in Central Italy
• Saturday february 25
-6.00 p.m. Miramonti Majestic Grand Hotel meeting with the author, Aldo Cazzullo, at the book
festival “Una Montagna di Libri”, where Cazzullo will present his latest book “Le donne erediteranno
la terra” (“Women will inherit the Earth”)
-Following, in the enchanting atmosphere of the historical hotel Miramonti, the farewell dinner of
36th edition of the Week on the Snow with the participation of the Author
For those who want to experience the mountains between relaxation and wellness Faloria Mountain
Spa Resort provides facilitated packages for the use of its Wellness Cottage
