M3Q Mathematical Methods in Quantum Mechanics
Fourth School & Workshop M3Q Mathematical Methods in Quantum Mechanics Bressanone (Italy) February 14-19, 2011 The meeting aims at presenting the state of the art in challenging open problems in Quantum Mechanics from the viewpoint of Mathematical Physics. It is mainly addressed to young people interested in working on the subject. Among the View of the inner Court of Bressanone Bishops' Palace topics covered: adiabatic and semiclassical methods, classical behaviour in quantum systems, effective equations for infinite particle systems, molecular quantum dynamics, nonlinear Schrödinger equations, quantum chaos, quantum chemistry, quantum systems with magnetic fields, quantum transport theory, scattering and spectral analysis for Schrödinger operators. Four short courses will be given in a series of lectures scheduled in the morning of each day. Invited talks and short contributed talks by participants will take place in the afternoon. Courses: Invited speakers: ► L. Ambrosio (SNS Pisa) Stability of flows and convergence of Wigner transforms ● B. Dubrovin (SISSA Trieste) ► V.
