Mathematical Methods in Quantum Mechanics
Third School & Workshop M3Q Mathematical Methods in Quantum Mechanics Bressanone (Italy) February 16-21, 2009 The meeting aims at presenting the state of the art in some challenging open problems in Quantum Mechanics from the viewpoint of Mathematical Physics. It is mainly addressed to young people interested in working on the subject. C. Negulescu (2007) Among the topics covered: quantum systems with magnetic fields, quantum transport theory, decoherence and entanglement, classical behaviour in quantum systems, scattering and spectral analysis for Schrödinger operators, quantum chaos, adiabatic and semiclassical methods, non linear Schrödinger equation. Three short courses will be given in a series of lectures scheduled in the morning of each day. Invited talks will take place in the afternoon, followed by short contributed talks by participants.
