Unique pieces where the key-word is eco-design
Jewels and objects in wood and natural materials,
ecological creations made as unique pieces or
in exclusive collections.
Wood is central in my studies, professional experience and art research, from art studies to work
experience as wood art restorer.
I travel around Europe, North and South America, moved by curiosity for ethnic art, anthropology and
native people culture. They are an inspiration, for their use of materials, for the essential forms in their art
but also as examples of life and society, for the relationship they express with nature.
My wood jewelry project synthesizes and express techniques skills, art and
design research but also the look for a more simple way of life, according
with earth rhythms.
My work starts with the selecting and seasoning process of local woods, on
the Appennines between Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany. I mostly work non-commercial wood, that

usually is not possible to find on the market, or sometimes exotic essences I look for from other business
or craftsman. I personally make also most of all dyeing and finishing products, I use work waste for
compost, garden or fireplace.
The ecological principle is not only in the choosing of material, but lives along the whole creative
process, completely handmade, and in everyday choices, inside and outside the studio.
I work also recycled wood and other materials: my rings Reskateboard
are made of old skateboards; for the collection Porcupine I made
pendants with porcupine quills; or the wool in my wood Papillon
packaging comes from sheeps I breed, the same of the fire brand I use
to sign my jewels.
Design meets handicraft and ecosustaintability. Project
and techniques merge in a complete self production
process, from raw material to project, from prototype to
final making.
The result? Unique pieces for definition and ecological
in their essence.
