Hardware Engineer (REF 1602_ENGR_HwE)
Position: Full-time
Location: Bologna (Italy)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Hardware Project Leader, he/she will:
Design mixed signals electronic boards following the development from the board specifications to the
prototype testing activities
Interface with external partners (designers and/or manufacturing personnel)
Interface with the internal “Mechanical” and “Manufacturing and Service” teams
Follow the products life cycle from the release to the end-of-life (obsolescence, corrective actions,
improvements, upgrades, etc)
Write technical documentation (i.e. functional test protocol, assembly instructions of electronic
boards, etc.)
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Master Degree in Electronic engineering
2-plus years experience
Experience in designing of mixed signals electronic boards
Knowledge of EMC concepts
Knowledge of risk analysis management
Capability to work autonomously in a collaborative, multidisciplinary and goal-oriented environment
Availability to travel world-wide
Good English knowledge (written and spoken)
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
The following requirements would be a plus:
Experience in designing of RF and/or FPGA electronic boards
Programming microcontrollers (e.g. ARM) and in RTOS
Knowledge of at least one of the following programming language: Assembly, C, C++, LabVIEW
Knowledge of CE, CE-IVD, CSA-UL certifications process
Knowledge of one or more of the following standards: IEC 61326-1, IEC61326-2-6, IEC 61010-1, UL
61010-1, ISO 14971, IEC 60812 and ISO 13485
