Il telaio Temerario è stato disegnato e progettato con l’obiettivo di
incrementare la reattività nella variazione di ritmo e la precisione di guida
alle alte velocità, rispetto ai telai convenzionali.
La ruota posteriore è connessa alla monoscocca principale tramite due
elementi scatolati asimmetrici, che saturano lo spazio disponibile tra ruota
e trasmissione massimizzando il momento d’inerzia di tutte le sezioni.

The Temerario frame is designed and engineered with the objective
of improving the response to the change in power rhythm in a sprint,
and the bike’s handling characteristics at the high speed, compared
to traditional frames.
The rear wheel is connected to the monocoque by two asymmetric
molded elements in order to fill the available space between wheel
and bottom bracket, maximizing the inertial moment of the crosssections.

Il telaio RAN è stato ideato ed ingegnerizzato per stupire l’atleta più
esigente. Il reparto di ricerca e sviluppo ha supportato la realizzazione del
telaio RAN con le migliori tecnologie costruttive disponibili affidandosi a
fornitori qualificati. Il risultato parla molto chiaro: 810 g di peso sulla taglia
M e 1.135 g per l’accoppiata telaio e forcella. In fase progettuale è stata
posta massima attenzione alle sezioni più sollecitate del telaio: sottosella,
movimento centrale, settore sterzo, per mantenere la massima rigidità e
ridurre la perdita di parallelismo degli assi di rotazione delle ruote.

The RAN frame has been developed and engineered to astonish the
most demanding athlete. The R&D department has used all the best
knowledge and the latest construction technology available, executed
by the best suppliers. The result is very clear: 810 g of weight for the
M size and 1.135 g for the frame and fork. The engineering process
has focused particular attention on the stressed sections: bottom
bracket, head tube and seat tube, in order to maintain high stiffness
and parallel alignment of the wheel axes.

L’evoluzione principale riguarda l’importazione delle tecnologie Mtb
quali i freni a disco e il movimento centrale press fit 92 mm così come la
larghezza del carro posteriore incrementato a 135 mm per utilizzare ruote
maggiorate che conferiscono stabilità alla guida in tutti i percorsi misti.
La tecnologia disk-brake viene impiegata al fine di rendere ottimale il
lavoro della frenata nelle condizioni di gara più estreme. Le competizioni
vengo disputate a ridosso della stagione invernale, periodo in cui viene

difficult courses and the worst conditions. The principal evolution
is imported from MTB technology, such as disk brakes, a 92 mm
press fit bottom bracket, and 135 mm rear hub spacing, which
allow superior stability and performance in many ways. The disk
brake technology is used to maximize the effectiveness of braking
under the worst conditions. Cyclocross competitions are held during
the colder season, a period in which bad climatic conditions are
amplified, resulting in muddy and difficult terrains.

The main monocoque and the rear triangle are custom with MRC
MR60 carbon fiber, manufactured by the top international supplier
Mitsubishi Rayon Co. LTD. The fiber is rated MR60, with a load
strength of 30 tons.
The most important features of that carbon fiber are represented
by a contained weight and an excellent torsion torque. These main
qualities allow to obtain a 1100 g total weight on the M size as well a
huge stiffness on every surface.
