Cost:
- For board, lodging and
program cost a 40
euros/pers will be
requested
- Insurance will not be
covered by the Program.

- We will refund 70% of the

There are no specific
academic requirements,

needs. You need to be able
to communicate in English
since this is the working
language in the program.
To start the program you
should be 18 years or older.
Who are we?
“The Small Schools” in
Denmark is a number of
school centres, with a
unique concept, taking care
of and educating children
and adults with special
needs.
The school centres
comprises of care homes
for children and teenagers,
who cannot live at home,
and a school, which offer a
basic school education
together with a number of
practical and creative skills
like cooking, art and music,
theater, nature life, travel.
We find it important to
provide our student with an
international and
humanitarian outlook. The
small schools also work
together at several events

like concerts, sports events,
building weekends and
theater competition.
The 3 Small Schools in
Juelsminde, Nakkeboelle
and Bogense are training
Development Instructors to
take actions, combining
studies about our world
today with volunteer
training, experiences and
actions in the school centre
- Make and implement
weekend program with the
children at one of the Care
homes.
- Take care of the network/
computers at the school
- Doing maintenance, taking
care of the outdoor areas,
Cleaning and cooking
- Organizing health
campaigns
Tasks
Some examples:
- Be assistant teacher in a
class with students who
need extra help.
- Working in the care home
as practical help and
mobilizing the students to
take responsibility and be
active in their leisure time.
- Teaching English or
German to a group of
children - Make program
with a student who needs
to have special attention
- Prepare and participate
the school trips.
- Teach the special subjects
like theater, painting, sport,
climbing, horse riding,
mechanic etc...
- Driving the school bus
and organizing trips outside
the school
- Make environmental
projects
- Doing garden farming etc.
When to apply:
the program starts twice a

The target group of our
program is the elderly
people with special needs
who need help, have
problem with their health,
with the physical condition
of their body, who can’t do
the everyday living
activities by themselves
(cooking, cleaning,
washing, shopping, etc.).
The volunteers can
help us to be able to give
help more elderly people,
they will participate in
visiting and helping in the
elderly people’s homes,
taking care of them, paying
attention, helping in the
assistants’ work (bring the
medicines, the food, they
can clean the house, cook
for them, pay the bills etc.),
furthermore the volunteers
help in the centre of
elderly.

This project takes place in
the youth information
offices of the organization
in Xylokastro and VochaVelo municipalities.
Through these offices we
want to show the
possibilities to the young
people of the region aged
between 16-30 Volunteer’s
activities. The activities
include working in the
information
offices. The volunteers
participate in the
presentations in the
schools,
promoting the activities of
the Information offices.
They will also help in the
preparation of the local
youngsters that participate
in EVS. The volunteers
will help to develop the
webpage of the
organization by filling up
with new information,
photos…etc.

actively in the building
and reconstruction of
traditional and modern
musical instruments,
creation of a
step-by-step guide with
photographs and text
concerning the building and
conservation of traditional
musical instruments.

Il Ministero dell’Istruzione,
dell’Università e della
Ricerca lancia il
“2012 Global Youth Video
Competition”.
Si tratta della seconda
edizione del concorso
riservato a giovani ideatori
di video originali.

Il riso fa buon sangue,
concorso letteraio
Edizioni Cinquemarzo e i
donatori di sangue Fratres
lanciano un concorso
letterario su tutto il
territorio nazionale: “Il riso
fa buon sangue”.

L’obiettivo primario è
veicolare, attraverso le
opere letterarie, il valore
della donazione del sangue
come concreto atto
d’amore rivolto verso il
prossimo, realizzato tramite
un gesto volontario. La
partecipazione al concorso
è aperta a tutti ed è
gratuita: si tratterà di
inviare degli inediti racconti
brevi, di trama ironica o
comica e comunque a
sfondo divertente, in lingua
italiana; la giuria, composta
da nomi illustri del
volontariato e dell’editoria,
decreterà tre racconti
vincitori, che saranno
premiati nell’ambito
dell’Assemblea nazionale
dei Gruppi donatori di
sangue Fratres che si terrà
nei giorni 25-26-27 maggio
2012. Inoltre i tre racconti
vincitori saranno pubblicati
e successivamente inseriti
negli spazi d’attesa delle
strutture sanitarie italiane
adibite alla raccolta del
sangue.

una storia sui diritti umani e
partecipare così al concorso
di scrittura. La storia può
essere scritta in qualsiasi
lingua e non può superare

Questa borsa di studio è
destinata a studenti con
disabilità che seguono un
corso di studio universitario
nel settore delle scienze
informatiche presso
un’università dell’Unione
Europea. La borsa di studio
intende aiutare ad
abbattere le barriere che
impediscono agli studenti
con disabilità di
frequentare i corsi di studio
informatici, incoraggiarli ad
eccellere e diventare
modelli e leader nella
creazione di nuove
tecnologie. I candidati
devono essere al loro anno
finale di un corso
universitario di tre anni
(laurea breve), o iscritti ad
un programma di Master o
PhD (o equivalente), nel
2012/2013, essere iscritti
presso un’Università
europea, essere cittadini,
residenti permanenti e
studenti internazionali con

Il progetto Vulcanus offre
borse di studio di circa 18
mila euro finanziate dal
Centro di cooperazione
industriale
Unione
Europea-Giappone e dalle
imprese che ospiteranno gli
studenti.
Tra
le
aziende
che
partecipano al progetto ci
sono la Fujitsu, Hitachi,
NTT, Ibm, Sanyo, Canon,
Toshiba e Mitsubishi.
Il progetto offre la
possibilità di trascorrere
otto mesi di stage di

formazione e lavoro
all'interno dei propri centri
di ricerca.
Obiettivi
- dare ai migliori studenti
universitari europei, la
possibilità di studiare la
gamma di tecnologie
utilizzate dalle aziende
leader giapponesi
- apprendere la lingua del
Sol Levante e acquisire la
capacità di interagire con il
Giappone nell'ambito delle
relazioni commerciali e
personali.
Il progetto prevede una
settimana di seminario,
quattro mesi di corso
intensivo di lingua
giapponese e otto mesi di
stage presso un'impresa
giapponese.
Data inizio progetto:
primi di settembre del 2012
per terminare a fine agosto
del 2013.
Requisiti
Possono candidarsi tutti gli
studenti provenienti dai
Paesi membri dell'Unione
Europa, iscritti a facoltà
tecniche o scientifiche, che
siano almeno al terzo anno
di studio del loro corso
universitario. Soprattutto
ingegneri e studenti di aree
come biotecnologie,
elettronica,
telecomunicazioni, fisica e
chimica.
I candidati verranno
selezionati sulla base del
loro percorso universitario,
le valutazioni dei loro
docenti, dalla conoscenza
(scritta e parlata) della
lingua inglese, dalle loro
motivazioni e anche dalla
capacità di adattarsi a
culture differenti.
Ogni anno sono circa 30 gli
studenti che vengono
selezionati, da tutto il
mondo, per il progetto
Vulcanus. Le candidature
vanno presentate entro il
20 gennaio 2012. Entro la
fine di febbraio verrà
definita la lista dei
selezionati.
