The paper copies without authorization by an original signature for approval are not official documents of the Supplier Quality System. 1 Edition 1 Rev 0 Umbra Cuscinetti Quality Supplier Requirements Effective: 25/04/2014 Annex 3: Supplier Evaluation Page 2 1.0 Applicability This document defines the methodology for evaluating suppliers of Umbra Cuscinetti, in terms of product quality and meeting delivery dates. 1.1 Supplier Evaluation The supplier is monitored periodically Suppliers will be informed about their performance in relation to the compliance of parts sent and the service offered. Supplier evaluation is performed according to the following tables related to product quality and service offered: Tab. 1: Product quality Quality Reating CLASSE A 100 99,5 CLASSE AB 99,49 98,00 CLASSE B 97,9 97 CLASSE C < 97 CLASSE A 100 90 CLASSE AB 89,99 85,00 CLASSE B 84,99÷ 75 CLASSE C < 74 Tab. 2: Service Offered Delivery Performace Quality Rating: The % value of non-compliant parts compared to the total shipped of each item is determined. Delivery Performance (OTD): For every single incoming goods/service received or performed, the actual date of delivery or provision of the goods/service will be analysed (in accordance with contractual delivery requirements). Based on the difference (in working days) between this date and the delivery date agreed upon (by both parties), as confirmed previously, the following scores will be attributed: 2.OTD FACTOR -14 days ≤ (Delivery date –agreed upon date) ≤ -1 day (Delivery date –agreed upon date) < -14 days (Delivery date –agreed upon date) = 0 days Early delivery between 1 and 14 days Early delivery, 14 days in advance 100 0 On time delivery 100* Delivery delay of more than 5 days 0 +1 day ≤ (Delivery date –agreed upon date) ≤ +5 days Delivery delay between 1 and 5 days (Delivery date –agreed upon date) > +5 days On time 100 2 Umbra Cuscinetti Quality Supplier Requirements Annex 3: Supplier Evaluation Edition 1 Rev 0 Effective: 25/04/2014 Page 3 1.2 Corrective Actions For each supplier, depending on his periodic quality and service rating, a score and a related class will be assigned. For all suppliers of class B, or with ratings below this threshold value, improvement plans will be requested with the aim of determining the causes of problems and planning corrective actions to lie within the acceptable range of values. The improvement plans must be subjected to verification and approval by Supplier Quality Management of Umbra Cuscinetti S.p.a. If the supplier fails to communicate, within the set time, the planning of improvement activities and fails to provide guarantees for their implementation, he will be deleted from the list of qualified suppliers of Umbra Cuscinetti S.p.A. and production activities and/or products/services will be moved to other suppliers. It is the task of Umbra Cuscinetti S.p.A to plan audits with the supplier in order to check the progress of improvement activities agreed upon. 3
