Il PMBOK® Guide 6th Edition è in arrivo
Il Project Management Institute (PMI) ha esposto per un breve periodo la bozza della prima parte del
PMBOK 6th edition. A breve sarà sottomesso a revisione l’intero PMBOK, la cui pubblicazione definitiva è
prevista per l’inizio del 2017. Questa prima parte riguarda solo lo standard del project management. Lo
standard è molto più allineato alla Linea Guida ISO 21500 sul project management.
Le principali modifiche rispetto alla 5th edition sono:


Il numero di processi passa da 47 a 49.
Due aree di conoscenza cambiano nome:
o Project Time Management => Project Schedule Management.
o Project Human Resource Management => Project Resource Management.
Sono stati aggiunti tre nuovi processi e ne è stato eliminato uno di quelli esistenti.
Aggiunti:
1. Manage Project Knowledge (in Project Integration Management).
2. Control Resource (in Project Resource Management)
3. Implement Risk Responses (in Project Risk Management).
Eliminato
1. Close Procurement. Confluisce in Control Procurement e Close Project or Phase.
In definitiva, i 49 processi saranno così distribuiti:
