and collections for the world of
handicraft and Tuscany artistic
industry.
This ninth edition of Scenes of Innovation,
anticipates in its title, the project directions
of the competition.
As Ingredients, the path will include
technical materials of workings,
culture and local languages, main
elements for the definition of innovative
collections for handicraft and small and
medium-sized businesses in Tuscany.
These factors will be the starting point for
the definition of the project proposals in
which the topic of TRASVERSALITY TO
USE MATERIALS, TECHNIQUES AND
LOCAL IDENTITIES is INTERPRETED
CREATIVELY for the design of
new practicable ideas from the
productive realities involved.

PROJECT FACTORS
1) Consider the work force involved as ingredients through
complementarity and integration logics of the reference
fields
example: fabric + metal; wood + fabric
stone materials + metal + led or optical fibre
ceramics + fabric + led or optical fibre
materials of organic origin + fabric + metal
fabric + plastic materials + led etc…
2) Consider the work force involved also as single entities
according to the proposed topics and the productive typology.
3) Rediscovery of traditional materials together with
materials and consolidated advanced technologies (which
have ended the experimental cycle) according to product
typologies.
4) Aesthetics, search of the beautiful, naturalness and
use of chromatic congruent for the proposed typologies.
