arising from a deep
awareness and acceptance
of the present moment.
Equanimity is a conscious
state of instability in which
we find harmony between
the interior and exterior.
Neither a thought nor an
emotion, it is rather the
steady conscious
realization of reality's
transience.
The Art and Design create
dynamic ones useful to
improve the quality of
places and then the daily
lives of people.

stabilità mentale o
compostezza emozionale
derivante da una profonda
consapevolezza e
accettazione del momento
presente.
Equanimity è uno stato
cosciente della nostra
instabilità in cui troviamo
armonia tra l’interiore e
l’esterno.
Né un pensiero né un
emozione, è piuttosto la
realizzazione costante
consapevole della caducità
della realtà.
L’Arte e il Design creano
quelle dinamiche utili a
migliorare la qualità dei
luoghi e quindi della vita
quotidiana delle persone.
Equanimity project
• The project aims to
create conditions in
which the viewer has
the visual and sensory
perception of the
concept of equanimity.
The sculptures of Emilie
Cummings-Enneking
will be illuminated by a
light sculpture designed
by Pio Barone Lumaga,
in which the light
interacts with the
space, the sculptures
and the viewers.
• At the vernissage is
planned a dance
performance that will
amplify the sensory
interaction.

le condizioni in cui lo
spettatore abbia la
percezione visiva e
sensoriale del concetto
di Equanimity. Le
sculture di Emilie
Cummings-Enneking
saranno illuminate da
una scultura luminosa
concepita da
Pio Barone Lumaga, in
cui la luce interagirà con
lo spazio, le sculture e
gli spettatori.
• Al vernissage è prevista
una performance di
danza che accentuerà
l’interazione sensoriale.

Emilie Cummings Enneking
enchants with its
sculptures like a magic
flute. Everything is there,
suspended, found its
center of gravity despite
the apparent instability.
Her works create harmony
in the surrounding space
inevitably to involve the
viewer who watches her.
The lightness of his poetry
lies in the contrast
between weights,
volumes, materials, lights.
His bronzes are sometimes
touched by soft tufts of
cotton as a matter not so
much to protect the
subjects depicted. All his
work brings us back to
memories suspended in
time at which we like to
get together sometimes.

incanta con le sue sculture
come un flauto magico.
Tutto è lì, sospeso, trovato
il suo baricentro
nonostante l’apparente
instabilità. Le sue opere
creano un’armonia nello
spazio circostante fino a
coinvolgere
inevitabilmente lo
spettatore che la osserva.
La leggerezza della sua
poetica sta nella
contrapposizione di pesi,
di volumi, di materiali, di
luci. I suoi bronzi talvolta
sono sfiorati da morbidi
ciuffi di cotone come a
proteggerne non tanto la
materia quanto i soggetti
raffigurati. Tutta la sua
opera ci riporta a ricordi
sospesi nel tempo a cui ci
piace talvolta ritrovarci.
