BACKUP & RESTORE SYSTEM IMAGE

The entire software installation, starting on blank hard disk, is a long and complicate operation so in
customer support activity it’s much faster and more reliable to use image restore procedure. For this
purpose the factory suggest to use Clonezilla freeware utility which is available on internet or to be
request to factory.
BOOT BM-33T pc by CLONEZILLA
Get a USB key (512Mb or more), format it as FAT32 by your pc or notebook. Copy all files from Sidem
server path:
Ass_Tecnica/Service/SOFTWARE_PRODOTTI_MEDICALI/BM33T/CLONEZILLA
into the root of usb key. Go to folder /utils/win32 and launch makeboot.bat, this will make usb key
bootable. Take off the key fom your pc, label it as “BM33T BOOT” and keep it for support use.
Get another USB key (no less than 2GB), format it as FAT32, copy on ist root the appropriate image file
of software (see “Revisione hardware e software BM33T” registered on Quality System) available at
Sidem server path:
Ass_Tecnica/Service/SOFTWARE_PRODOTTI_MEDICALI/BM33T/IMAGE
Label it as “BM33T IMAGE rel. X.XX” and keep it for support use. To this key you’ll backup image of a
working BM33T system and from the same key you’ll restore image to a blank or crashed BM33T
system.

Before switch on the system, connect keyboard and mouse (PS2 is suggested) to BM33T and remove the
green hardware key from usb port. Insert the usb key labeled as “BM33T BOOT” than switch on the
system and press F2 and DEL while it’s booting in order to enter BIOS SETUP. Go to the “boot device
priority” and set the USB key as first than save and exit, the system will reboot and Clone zilla main
menu will appear on the screen.

will read your key showing some text strings in sequence on the screen, if the next window doesn’t
appear press ENTER again

Select 0 to power off, after shutdown disconnect yor image key and your boot key, reconnect the green
hardware key of BM33T.
Switch on the system by pressing power on key directly to the pc (button to right looking the panel
connections from front door of BM33T) and press F2 and DEL while it’s booting in order to enter BIOS
SETUP. Go to the “boot device priority” and set the hard disk as first than save and exit, the system will
reboot and BM33T application interface will come up.
To regulary switch off the system, use the main switch (green light) to the rear of the system and wait
for complete shutdown
REMEMBER!
