More Than 200 International Wines to be
Featured at Westchester Magazine’s
Wine & Food Festival
Zachys will Highlight Specialty World-Class Wines during
Grand Tasting Village on June 6
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (May 2015) – Westchester Magazine’s 5th Annual Wine & Food Festival
returns in just two weeks and will feature more than 200 exceptional wines. With worldrenowned wines, as well as gourmet food, craft beers, spirits and award-winning chefs, the
multi-day extravaganza runs Wednesday, June 3 through Saturday, June 6. The events will give
wine connoisseurs a taste of some of the most noted cabernets, merlots and more varieties
around the world.
Also, Zachys, a multi-generational business devoted to promoting the connection between great
food and high-quality wines and spirits, returns as a partner with the Wine & Food Festival.
“Some of the world’s best wines will be presented by experts during this year’s Wine & Food
Festival, which draws more than 5,000 people from across the New York Metro area,” said
Westchester Magazine Publisher Ralph Martinelli. “For this year’s festival, Andrew McMurray,
Vice President of Zachys, is bringing an amazing selection of truly fine wines. Our visitors will
have a unique opportunity to explore a variety of international wines, while pairing them with
some of the most delicious cuisine prepared by top chefs from throughout the Hudson Valley.”
Entirely new this year, the Grand Tasting Village will take place outdoors under a large tent at
Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla on Saturday, June 6 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be a
broad range of wines throughout the four-day event. However, rare and unique varieties will be
available exclusively at the Grand Tasting Village. Guests can revel in the best of Westchester’s
wine scene with nearly 50 different tasting tables.

impressive lineup of wines will include:
