Descripción de aparatos
No coloque el cargador de pilas :
• en lugares donde exista una incidencia de rayos
solares directa. En caso contrario podría sobrecalentarse el cargador de pilas y dañarse de
forma irreparable.
• en proximidades de fuentes de calor. Forman
parte por ej. hornos, ventiladores y aparatos similares tales como aperturas de ventilación y
demás aparatos eléctricos. En caso contrario el
cargador de pilas podría dañarse de forma irreparable.
• en entornos húmedos o cerca del agua. En caso
contrario podría penetrar humedad dentro del
cargador de pilas. Existe riesgo de una descarga eléctrica e incluso un incendio!

• Cargue exclusivamente pilas recargables de los
tipos „Ni-Cd“ y „Ni-MH“. No cargue nunca
acumuladores de otro tipo o pilas que no sean
recargables. Estas no son aptas para recargar.
Las pilas que no son recargables pueden sobrecalentarse e incluso explotar. Se podría dañar
el cargador de pilas y las pilas recargables insertadas de modo irreparable. ¡Existe peligro de
lesiones!

• Si se encuentra el cable de red defectuoso,
encomiende a su comercial de asistencia técnica
que lo sustituya con el fin de evitar riesgos.
• El cargador de pilas no contiene piezas que
puedan ser mantenidas por el usuario. Si se
abre la carcasa del cargador de pilas, se extinguirá la garantía! Si necesita una reparación,
póngase en contacto con el centro de servicio
de nuestra marca más próximo.
• ¡Por los daños derivados por la apertura del
carcasa, intentos de reparación por personal
especialista no calificado o por el uso indebido
del cargador de pilas, no nos responsaiblizamos
y perderá el derecho a la garantía!
• Sobretodo en pilas recargables viejas se puede
producir un derrame del ácido de las pilas. Por
consiguiente deberá retirar todas las pilas si no
va a usar el cargador de pilas durante un tiempo prolongado. Así protege el cargador de pilas contra el derrame de ácido de las pilas.
• No permita utilizar el aparato a personas (incluidos los niños) cuyas facultades físicas, sensoriales o mentales, así como su falta de conocimientos o de experiencia, les impida hacer un uso
seguro del mismo si no están bajo vigilancia
por una persona encargada de su seguridad o
hayan sido instruidos como utilizar el aparato
correctamente
• Los niños deben estar bajo vigilancia para
asegurarse de que no juegan con el aparato.
¡Peligro de descarga eléctrica!
No coloque el cargador de pilas:
• cerca del agua como p. ej. bañeras o piscinas.
Si penetra agua en el cargador de pilas, se puede dañar el aparato de forma irreparable.
• Antes de limpiar el cargador de pilas, deberá
extraer el cable de red de la base de enchufe.
De esta forma evitará una descarga eléctrica. Si
a pesar de prestar mucha atención, penetrase
agua/humedad en el cargador de pilas, extraiga de la base de enchufe la clavija de red de
inmediato.
El aparato sólo es apropiado para su uso en
espacios interiores.
¡Peligro de lesiones!
• Guarde las pilas recargables siempre fuera del
alcance de los niños! Ya que por lo contrario
existe riesgo de que los niños pueden tragarse
pilas recargables! ¡Existe peligro de muerte
debido a los componentes integrantes de las
pilas recargables!
• No deje nunca el cargador de pilas recargables
desatendido durante la carga de las pilas
recargables.
• Las pilas recargables se pueden calentar durante la carga. ¡No toque nunca pilas recargables
calientes! ¡Por lo contrario existe riesgo de quemaduras! Extraiga por consiguiente después de
la carga primero el cable de red del cargador
de pilas de la base de enchufe. Deje que se enfríe a continuación las pilas, antes de retirarlas
del cargador de pilas.
Manipulación de las pilas recargables
• No utilice pilas dañadas (corrosionadas).
• Si se derraman las pilas evite el contacto con los
ojos. Ello produce irritaciones de la piel.
• Si se ha derramado una pila recargable en el
cargador de pilas, limpielo primero con un paño
seco. Lleve puesta gafas de protección!

Indicación:
Preste atención de insertar las pilas recargables
conforme a su polaridad en los compartimentos de
los compartimentos de carga. Por lo contrario no se
podrán cargar las pilas recargables.
• Compruebe durante la puesta en servicio el
volumen de suministro si está integro y en su
caso si presenta daños visibles.
• Coloque el cargador de pilas sobre una base plana recta, antideslizante y resistente a ralladuras.
• Inserte las pilas recargables dentro de los
compartimentos de carga.
• Presione la pila de tipo bloque de 9 V dentro
del compartimento de carga hasta escuchar
como encaja.
Aviso:
Este aparato está provisto de pies de goma antideslizantes. Como las superficies de los muebles están
hechas con distintos materiales y son tratadas con
productos de conservación muy diferentes, no se
puede excluir totalmente que algunos de estos
materiales contengan ingredientes que ataquen y
reblandezcan los pies de goma. Dado el caso,
coloque una base antideslizante debajo de los
pies del aparato.
Se pueden recargar 1–6 baterías individualmente:
• 4 x Tipo C o Tipo D en los compartimentos de
carga 1 hasta 4,
o bien
• 4 x Tipo AA o Tipo AAA en los compartimentos
de carga 1 hasta 4, y adicionalmente 2 x tipo
baterías de 9 voltios en los compartimentos de
carga 5 y 6.
• El proceso de cargas se inicia. El cargador de
baterías recargables dispone de un LED respectivamente para cada compartimento en el compartimento de carga. Los LEDs de los compartimentos de carga respectivos muestran el estado
de carga de cada una de las baterías.
• En los primeros 5 segundos el cargador de
baterías realiza un ensayo rápido de capacidad:
- El LED del compartimento de carga se ilumina
verde:
Capacidad superior al 90 %.
- El LED del compartimento de carga parpadea
verde:
Capacidad entre 80 % - 90 %.
- Los LED del compartimento de carga brillan en
rojo:
Capacidad entre 70 % - 80 %.
- Los LED del compartimento de carga parpadean en rojo:
Capacidad por debajo del 70 %.
• Compare los datos técnicos con las de su
proveedor de suministro eléctrico. Si concuerda
conecte el cable de red a una base de enchufe.
Los LEDs se iluminan una vez rojo y verde.
Ahora está listo para el funcionamiento el
cargador de pilas recargables.
Carga de pilas recargables
¡Peligro!
Cargue exclusivamente pilas recargables de los tipos „Ni-Cd“ y „Ni-MH“. No cargue nunca acumuladores de otro tipo o pilas que no sean recargables. Estas no son aptas para recargar.
Por lo contrario se podría dañar el cargador de pilas y las pilas recargables insertadas de modo irreparable. ¡Existe riesgo de incendio así como de explosión!

Indicación:
¡Advertencia!
Las pilas recargables se pueden calentar durante la
carga. ¡No toque nunca pilas recargables calientes!
¡Existe peligro de quemaduras!
Si el LED del compartimento de carga no parpadea
más de 5 segundos en rojo, el acumulador no está
insertado correctamente en el compartimento de
carga o bien está defectuoso.
• Extraiga el cable de red del cargador de pilas
de la base de enchufe y deje que se enfríen las
pilas recargables.
A continuación podrá retirar las pilas cargadas del
cargador de pilas.
Si se ha comprobado la capacidad de la batería,
comienza el proceso de carga.
Las indicaciones diferentes tienen el significado
siguiente:
- El LED parpadea con un ciclo de 1 segundo en
rojo y verde (No es apto para acumuladores
monobloc de 9V):
Los acumuladores son cargados y descargados
en alternancia.. (Función Refresh: Acumuladores
viejos o almacenados durante mucho tiempo,
son refrescados.)

Cálculo del tiempo de carga de promedio
Dependiendo del tipo, antigüedad y estado de carga
restante de la batería, el proceso de carga tiene un
tiempo de duración diferente. Los tiempos de carga
de promedio pueden calcularse con la ayuda de la
formula indicada a continuación.
Tenga en cuenta que los tiempos calculados son
sólo valores orientativos.
El LED parpadea con un ciclo de 1/2 segundo
en rojo y verde (no es compatible para acumuladores de 9V):
Si no se han de reavivar los acumuladores debido a almacenamientos prolongados o bien por
antigüedad (Función Refresh), se produce el proceso siguiente: Los acumuladores son descargados para reducir el efecto Memory.

El LED se ilumina rojo de modo permanente:
Los acumuladores son cargados con corriente
de carga máxima.

El LED se ilumina verde de modo permanente:
Las baterías están plenamente cargadas y el
cargador de pilas conmuta al estado de carga
de mantenimiento.

Control de carga automática/
carga de mantenimiento
El cargador de pilas controla el tiempo de carga
para las pilas recargables del tipo Ni-Cd y Ni-MH
por separado. Este control está basado en el procedimiento –Δ U („menos Delta U“).
Con Delta Δ se define en las matemáticas las
diferencias.
„Menos Delta U“ significa en este caso un
diferencia de tensión negativa.
Esta detección de final de carga aprovecha los
efectos siguientes:
Si se carga una pila recargable (acumulador) con
corriente constante, su tensión va aumentando progresivamente. Si está la pila recargable llena, su
tensión alcanza un máximo y produce una caída
en caso de que continúe el flujo de corriente ligeramente. Esta ligera caída de tensión es detectada
por la electrónica de carga y el proceso de carga
concluye.

Otras anomalías de funcionamiento
El cargador de pilas conmuta automáticamente a
„carga de mantenimiento“. Esto quiere decir que
las baterías ya no se cargan con corriente continua,
sino con breves impulsos de corriente. De este modo,
se impide la descarga automática y las baterías se
mantienen en un estado de carga completa.
Contacte con su comercial de asistencia técnica
cercano en caso de que:
• no se solucionen las anomalías de función según
lo descrito
• o bien si durante el funcionamiento del cargador de pilas muestra otras anomalías de función.
Control del temporizador
El cargador de baterías dispone además de un
control de temporizador que cambia transcurridas
15 horas automáticamente al estado de carga de
mantenimiento. Esta es una función de protección
adicional contra sobrecarga en caso de que la
detección de final de carga no reaccione correctamente debido a una posible batería defectuosas.
Limpieza
¡Peligro!
Antes de cada limpieza extraiga la clavija de red.
¡Existe riesgo de recibir una descarga eléctrica! ¡Al
realizar la limpieza tenga cuidado de que no penetre humedad en la carcasa del aparato!
Solucionar anomalías de función
¡Atención!
No utilice productos de limpieza agresivos o abrasivos, ya que podrían dañar la superficie de la carcasa.
El cargador de pilas no reacciona
• Compruebe si se ha insertado el cable de red
correctamente en la base de enchufe.
• Compruebe si la base de enchufe tiene tensión.
Conecte simplemente para la prueba cualquier
otro aparato en esta base de enchufe.
Limpie la carcasa del cargado de pilas sólo con un
paño seco. En caso de suciedades persistentes utilice un paño ligeramente húmedo.
De ningún modo deberá limpiar el interior de los
compartimentos de carga en húmedo. Utilice en
cambio para su limpieza un pincel blando limpio.
Las pilas recargables insertadas no se cargan
• Compruebe si las pilas recargables han sido
insertadas conforme a su polaridad.
• Compruebe si ha insertado para la carga pilas
apropiadas en el cargador de pilas recargables. Para la carga son aptas exclusivamente
pilas recargables con capacidad de carga de
Ni-Cd y Ni-MH de los tipos AAA/AA/C/D y
bloque de 9 V.
• Extraiga el cable de red de la base de enchufe
y deje que se enfríe el aparato, ya que es
posible que se haya disparado el control de
temperatura. El control de temperatura vigila
para que el proceso de carga se interrumpa
tan pronto como una batería alcanza una
temperatura demasiado elevada.
Evacuación
En ningún caso deberá tirar el aparato
a la basura doméstica. Este producto
está sometido a la directiva europea
2002/96/EC.
Elimine el aparato a través de una empresa de
evacuación de basuras autorizada o por medio del
centro de evacuación de basuras municipal.
Tenga en cuenta las normativas actuales en vigor.
En caso de duda póngase en contacto con el
centro de evacuación de basuras.

Las pilas no deben evacuarse en la basura doméstica.

entregar las/os pilas/acumuladores en un centro
de recogida de su ayuntamiento/barrio o en el
comercio. Esta obligación tiene el objetivo de que
las pilas puedan eliminarse de forma ecológica.

desde la fecha de compra. El aparato ha sido fabricado cuidadosamente y ha sido probado antes de
su entrega. Guarde el comprobante de caja como
justificante de compra. Si necesitara hacer uso de
la garantía, póngase en contacto por teléfono con
su centro de servicio habitual. Éste es el único
modo de garantizar un envío gratuito.
La garantía cubre sólo defectos de fabricación o
del material, pero no los daños de transporte, piezas sujetas a desgaste y los daños sufridos por las
piezas frágiles p. ej. el interruptor o baterías. Este
producto ha sido diseñado exclusivamente para el
uso particular y no para el uso industrial.
En caso de manipulación indebida e incorrecta, uso
de la fuerza y en caso de abrir el aparato personas
extrañas a nuestros centros de asistencia técnica
autorizados, la garantía pierde su validez. Esta garantía no reduce en forma alguna sus derechos legales.
Por el mero hecho de hacer uso de la garantía no
implica la prolongación del período de válidez de
la garantía. Ello rige también para piezas sustituidas y reparadas. Los posibles daños y defectos detectados al comprar el producto, se han de notificar

Non installate il caricabatterie:
• in luoghi direttamente esposti alla radiazione
solare. Altrimenti il caricabatterie potrebbe surriscaldarsi e venire danneggiato in modo irreparabile.

Vengono considerate tali per es. stufe, termoventilatori ed apparecchi simili nonché fori di ventilazione di altri apparecchi elettrici. Altrimenti il
caricabatterie potrebbe venire danneggiato in

• in ambienti umidi o vicino all’acqua. Altrimenti vi
è pericolo che nel caricabatterie penetri dell’umidità. Ciò potrebbe causare una scossa elettrica
e un incendio!
• Caricate esclusivamente pile ricaricabili al
„Ni-Cd“ e al „Ni-MH“. Non caricate mai pile
di atro tipo o batterie non ricaricabili. Queste
ultime non sono adatte a venir caricate. Le pile
non ricaricabili potrebbero surriscaldarsi ed
esplodere. Il caricabatterie e le pile in esso inserite potrebbero venire danneggiati in modo irreparabile. Sussiste il pericolo di lesioni!

Pericolo di scossa elettrica!
Non installate il caricabatterie:
• nelle immediate vicinanze dell’acqua, per es.
vicino a vasche da bagno o piscine. Se nel caricabatterie penetra dell’acqua, l’apparecchio potrebbe venire danneggiato in modo irreparabile.
• Prima di pulire il caricabatterie staccate il cavo
di allacciamento alla rete dalla presa di corrente. In tal modo evitate il pericolo di una scossa
elettrica. In caso nonostante tutte le precauzioni
dovesse penetrare nel caricabatterie dell’ acqua/
dell’umidità, staccate immediatamente la spina
dalla presa.
L'apparecchio è indicato solo per l'uso in
ambienti interni.
Pericolo di lesioni!
• Conservate sempre le pile lontano dalla portata
dei bambini! Vi è pericolo che i bambini ingoino
le pile! A causa dei componenti velenosi delle
pile vi è pericolo di morte!
• Durante la carica delle pile non lasciate mai il
caricabatterie incustodito.
• Durante la carica le pile potrebbero diventare
bollenti. Non toccate mai le pile! Vi potrebbe
essere pericolo di ustioni! Dopo la carica quindi
staccate innanzitutto il cavo di allacciamento
alla rete del caricabatterie dalla presa di corrente. Lasciate quindi raffreddare le pile prima di
estrarle dal caricabatterie.
• Se il cavo di allacciamento alla rete è difettoso,
fatelo immediatamente sostituire da un nostro
partner per l’assistenza ai fini di evitare pericoli.
• Il caricabatterie non contiene parti la cui manutenzione possa venire effettuata dall’utente. Se
l’involucro del caricabatterie viene aperto, la
garanzia si estingue! Per le riparazioni, rivolgersi
a un nostro partner di assistenza nella zona di
competenza.

• Per danni causati dall’apertura dell’involucro,
da tentativi di riparazione da parte di personale
non qualificato o di impiego del caricabatterie
non adeguato allo scopo non viene assunta alcuna responsabilità/garanzia!
• In particolare nel caso di pile vecchie potrebbe
fuoriuscire dell’acido di batteria. Rimuovete quindi tutte le pile quando non utilizzate il caricabatterie per lungo tempo. In tal modo proteggete il
caricabatterie da danni causati dalla fuoriuscita
di acido di batteria.

Maneggio di batterie ricaricabili
• Non utilizzate pile danneggiate (corrose).
• Se le pile presentano fuoriuscite di acido, evitate
il contatto con la pelle. Esso porterebbe ad
irritazioni cutanee.
• Se si è verificata una fuoriuscita di acido da una
pila all’interno del caricabatterie, pulite l’apparecchio con un panno asciutto. Indossate guanti!

Avvertenza:
Badate ad inserire le pile negli scomparti delle sedi
di carica posizionandole in accordo con la loro
polarità. Altrimenti esse non vengono caricate.
• Prima della messa in esercizio controllate che
quanto consegnato sia completo e che esso non
presenti eventuali danni visibili.
• Appoggiate il caricabatterie su una base diritta,
in piano, antigraffio e antiscivolo.
• Introducete le pile nelle sedi di carica.
• Inserite le pile a blocco da 9 V nelle sedi di
carica finché non scattano in posizione.
Avviso:
questo apparecchio è provvisto di piedini di
gomma antisdrucciolo. Poiché le superfici dei mobili
sono composte dei materiali più svariati e vengono
trattate con i prodotti più disparati, non si può escludere completamente che alcuni di questi prodotti
contengano componenti in grado di attaccare e
ammorbidire la plastica. Collocare eventualmente
un supporto antisdrucciolo sotto i piedini
dell'apparecchio.
• Paragonare i dati tecnici con quelli del proprio
fornitore di corrente. In caso di coincidenza,
connettere il cavo di rete a una presa di corrente.
I LED si accenderanno diventando di colore rosso
e verde. Il caricatore è quindi pronto per il funzionamento.
Caricare le pile
Pericolo!
Caricate esclusivamente pile ricaricabili al
„Ni-Cd“ e al „Ni-MH“. Non caricate mai pile di
altro tipo o batterie non ricaricabili. Queste ultime
non sono adatte a venir caricate. Altrimenti il caricabatterie e le pile/batterie in esso inserite potrebbero venire danneggiati in modo irreparabile. Vi è
pericolo di incendio nonché di esplosione!
Si possono caricare individualmente da 1–6 pile:
• 4 x tipo C o tipo D nei vani di carica da 1 a 4,
o
• 4 x tipo AA o AAA nei vani di carica da 1 a 4,
con in più 2 pile di tipo 9 Volt nei vani di carica
5 e 6.
• Il procedimento di carica ha inizio. Il Caricabatterie possiede un LED per ogni vano di carica. I
LED dei rispettivi vani di carica mostrano il livello
di carica delle singole pile.
• Nei primi 5 secondi, il caricabatterie esegue un
test rapido di capacità:
- Se il LED del vano di carica è acceso e di colore verde:
capacità superiore al 90 %.
- Se il LED del vano di carica lampeggia ed è di
colore verde:
capacità compresa fra l'80 % e il 90 %.
- Il LED del vano di ricarica si accende di luce
rossa:
capacità tra 70 - 80%.
- Il LED del vano di ricarica lampeggia di luce
rossa:
capacità inferiore al 70%.
Avvertenza:
Se il LED del vano di ricarica lampeggia di luce rossa per oltre 5 secondi, le batterie ricaricabili non
sono inserite correttamente nel vano oppure sono
difettose.
Una volta misurata la capacità della pila, comincia
il procedimento di carica.

Le diverse indicazioni hanno i seguenti significati:
- Il LED lampeggia a intervalli di un secondo, con
colore rosso e verde (Non per le pile blocco da
9 V):
Le batterie ricaricabili vengono caricate e scaricate alternativamente. (Funzione Refresh: le pile
vecchie o stoccate per lungo tempo vengono ripristinate)
Ricordare che i tempi di carica sono comunque solo
valori orientativi.

Il LED lampeggia a intervalli di mezzo secondo,
con colore rosso e verde (salvo per la batteria ricaricabile pacchetto 9 V):
Se non è necessario rigenerare (funzione Refresh)
le batterie ricaricabili, poiché sono vecchie o vanno magazzinate a lungo, avviene quanto segue:
le batterie ricaricabili vengono scaricate per ridurre al minimo dell'effetto memory.

Il LED resta acceso senza lampeggiare ed è di
colore rosso:
le batterie ricaricabili vengono caricate con la
massima corrente di ricarica.
-
Il LED resta acceso senza lampeggiare ed è di
colore verde:
le pile sono completamente cariche e l'accumulatore passa alla carica di mantenimento.
Questo caricabatterie comanda il tempo di carica
per pile ricaricabili al Ni-Cd e al Ni-MH separatamente. Questo comando si basa sul procedimento
–Δ U („minus Delta U“).
Con il Delta Δ si definiscono nella matematica le
differenze.
„Minus Delta U“ significa in questo caso una
differenza di tensione negativa.
Questo riconoscimento della conclusione del
processo di carica sfrutta il seguente effetto:
se una pila viene caricata con corrente costante, la
sua tensione continua ad aumentare. Tuttavia, una
volta che una pila è completamente carica, la sua
tensione raggiunge un valore massimo e poi cala
leggermente in caso continuasse a venire alimentata con corrente elettrica. Questa leggera caduta di
tensione viene rilevata dall’elettronica di caricamento e la carica viene terminata. Il caricabatterie passa automaticamente alla modalità „Carica di mantenimento“. Ciò significa che gli accumulatori non
vengono più caricati con corrente continua bensì
con brevi impulsi di corrente. In tal modo si impedisce l'autoscaricamento e gli accumulatori vengono
mantenuti in uno stato di carica completa.
Avvertenza!
Durante la carica le pile potrebbero diventare bollenti. Non toccate mai le pile! Sussiste il pericolo di
ustioni!
• Staccate il filo di allacciamento alla rete del
caricabatterie dalla presa di corrente e lasciate
raffreddare le pile.
Dopo di ciò potete prelevare le pile caricate dal
caricabatterie.
Calcolo del tempo di carica medio
Il procedimento di carica può essere più o meno
lungo a seconda del tipo, dell'età e della carica residua delle pile. I tempi di carica medi si possono
calcolare con l'aiuto della seguente formula.

Controllo del timer
Inoltre, l'apparecchio di caricabatterie dispone di
un controllo del timer che dopo 15 ore passa automaticamente alla carica di mantenimento. Esso serve come ulteriore protezione dal caricamento eccessivo, qualora il riconoscimento di carica non
funzionasse a causa di una pila guasta.

Eliminare le anomalie di
funzionamento
Il caricabatterie non mostra alcun funzionamento
• Controllate se il cavo di allacciamento alla rete
è correttamente inserito nella presa di corrente.
• Controllate se alla presa arriva corrente. A tale
scopo collegate a questa presa un altro
apparecchio elettrico funzionante.

Attenzione!
Non utilizzare detergenti aggressivi o abrasivi,
poiché essi potrebbero intaccare la superficie dell'apparecchio.
Pulire l'alloggiamento dell'caricabatterie esclusivamente con un panno asciutto. In caso di sporco resistente utilizzare un panno leggermente inumidito.
Non pulire mai a umido l'interno dei vani di carica.
Per la pulizia utilizzare invece un pennello pulito e
morbido.
Le pile inserite non vengono caricate
• Controllate se le pile sono state inserite
correttamente in base alla loro polarità.
• Controllate se avete inserito nel caricabatterie
delle pile adatte a venir caricate. Sono adatte a
venir caricate esclusivamente pile caricabili al
Ni-Cd e al Ni-MH di tipo AAA/AA/C/D e a
blocco da 9 V.
• Staccate il cavo di allacciamento alla rete dalla
presa di corrente e fate raffreddare l’apparecchio, in quanto probabilmente è stato attivato il
dispositivo di controllo della temperatura. Il
controllo della temperatura interrompe il
procedimento di carica non appena
l'apparecchio raggiunge una temperatura
eccessiva
Altri guasti di funzionamento
Siete pregati di rivolgerVi ad uno dei nostri partner
per l’assistenza in caso:
• non fosse possibile eliminare i guasti di
funzionamento nel modo descritto
• o durante l’esercizio del caricabatterie per
batterie si dovessero presentare altre anomalie
di funzionamento.
Smaltimento
Non gettare per alcun motivo l’apparecchio insieme ai normali rifiuti
domestici. Questo prodotto sottostà
alla direttiva europea 2002/96/EC.
Smaltire l’apparecchio presso un’azienda autorizzata o presso l’ente comunale di smaltimento.
Rispettare le norme attualmente in vigore. In caso di
dubbi, contattare l’azienda di smaltimento
competente.
Pile
Non gettare assolutamente le pile insieme ai
normali rifiuti domestici.
Le pile possono contenere sostanze tossiche
dannose per l'ambiente. Smaltire pertanto le pile
unicamente in conformità alle leggi vigenti.
Smaltire tutti i materiali d’imballo in conformità alle norme per il rispetto dell’ambiente.
Pulizia
Pericolo!
Prima di ogni pulizia staccare la spina. Sussiste il
pericolo di scossa elettrica! Impedire che penetri
umidità nell'apparecchio nel corso della pulizia!

Não coloque o carregador de pilhas:
• em locais que estão expostos aos raios directos
do sol. Caso contrário, o carregador de pilhas
pode sobreaquecer e pode ficar irreparavelmente danificado.
• na proximidade de fontes de calor. Dos tais fazem
parte, p. ex. fogões, termoventilador e aparelhos
semelhantes, como aberturas para ventilação ou
outros aparelhos eléctricos. Caso contrário, o
carregador de pilhas pode ficar irreparavelmente danificado.
• em ambientes húmidos ou na proximidade de
água. Caso contrário, a humidade pode entrar

• Carregue unicamente pilhas recarregáveis dos
tipos „Ni-Cd“ e „Ni-MH“. Nunca carregue pilhas
de outro tipo ou pilhas não recarregáveis. Estas
não são apropriadas para recarregar. Pilhas
não recarregáveis podem sobreaquecer e explodir. O carregador de pilhas e as pilhas inseridas podem ficar irreparavelmente danificados.
Existe perigo de ferimentos!
Perigo por choque eléctrico!
Não coloque o carregador de pilhas:
• na proximidade de água, p.ex. de banheiras ou
piscinas. Se entrar água no carregador de pilhas,
o aparelho pode ficar irreparavelmente danificado.
• Retire o cabo de rede da tomada antes de limpar o carregador de pilhas. Dessa forma, evita
um choque eléctrico. Se apesar de todo o cuidado entrar água/humidade no carregador de pilhas, retire a ficha de rede da tomada.
O aparelho é adequado apenas para o uso
em espaços interiores.
Perigo de ferimentos!
• Guarde as pilhas sempre fora do alcance das
crianças! Existe o perigo das crianças ingerir as
pilhas! Devido às substâncias venenosas das
pilhas existe perigo de vida!
• Nunca deixe o carregador das pilhas, durante o
carregamento das pilhas, sem vigilância.
• As pilhas podem ficar quentes durante o carregamento. Nunca toque nas pilhas quentes!
Caso contrário, existe perigo de queimaduras!
Por isso, após o carregamento, retire o cabo de
rede do carregador de pilhas da tomada. De seguida, deixe as pilhas arrefecer antes de as retirar do carregador de pilhas.
• Se o cabo de rede estiver danificado, deverá
ser imediatamente substituído por um parceiro
de assistência para evitar danos.

• O carregador de pilhas não contém peças que
necessitem de manutenção por parte do utilizador. Se a caixa do carregador de pilhas for
aberta, a garantia extingue-se! No caso de necessitar de uma reparação, dirija-se a um dos
nossos parceiros de assistência.
• Por danos devido à abertura da caixa, tentativas de reparação por não qualificados ou por
uma utilização incorrecta do carregador de pilhas não são assumidas quaisquer responsabilidades ou garantia!
• Especialmente pilhas antigas podem verter o
ácido que contêm. Por isso, retire todas as pilhas
se não utilizar o carregador de pilhas por um
período prolongado. Dessa forma, protege o
carregador de pilhas de danos causados pelo
ácido que pode verter.
• Este aparelho não deve ser utilizado por pessoas (inclusive crianças) com limitações das capacidades físicas, sensoriais ou mentais ou falta de
experiência e/ou de conhecimento do mesmo, a
não ser que seja efectuada uma vigilância por
uma pessoa responsável pela sua segurança ou
que recebam instruções acerca do
funcionamento do aparelho.
• As crianças devem ser vigiadas, de modo a
garantir que não brincam com o aparelho.
Manuseio com pilhas recarregáveis
• Não utilize quaisquer pilhas danificadas
(corroídas).
• Se as pilhas verterem, evite o contacto com a
pele. Caso contrário, pode causar irritações de
pele.
• Se uma pilha verter no carregador de pilhas,
limpe-o com um pano seco. Use luvas de protecção!

Colocação em funcionamento
• Verifique o volume de fornecimento, antes da
colocação em funcionamento, quanto ao seu
preenchimento e eventuais danos visuais.
• Coloque o carregador de pilhas numa base direita, plana, resis-tente a riscos e antiderrapante.
Nota:
Este aparelho encontra-se equipado com bases de
borracha antiderrapantes. Visto que as superfícies
do mobiliário são produzidas em diversos materiais
e tratadas com os mais variados produtos de conservação, não está totalmente excluído que alguns
destes materiais contenham componentes que danifiquem e amoleçam as bases em borracha. Se necessário, coloque uma base antiderrapante sob as
bases do aparelho.
• Compare os dados técnicos com os do seu fornecedor de energia eléctrica. Em caso de conformidade, ligue o cabo de alimentação a uma
tomada. Os LEDs acendem uma vez a vermelho
e outra a verde. O carregador de pilhas encontra-se operacional.
Carregar pilhas
Perigo!
Carregue unicamente pilhas recarregáveis dos tipos
„Ni-Cd“ e „Ni-MH“. Nunca carregue pilhas de outro
tipo ou pilhas não recarregáveis. Estas não são
apropriadas para recarregar. Caso contrário, o
carregador de pilhas e as pilhas/baterias inseridas
podem ficar irreparavelmente danificados. Existe
perigo de um incêndio, bem como perigo de explosão!

Indicação:
Certifique-se de que as pilhas são colocadas de
acordo com a polaridade nos compartimentos de
carregamento. Caso contrário, as pilhas não são
carregadas.
• Coloque as pilhas nos compartimentos de carregamento.
• Pressione as pilhas do tipo bloco 9 V nos compartimentos de carregamento até ouvir um clique.
Podem ser carregadas individualmente 1 – 6 pilhas:
• 4 x tipo C ou tipo D nos compartimentos de carga
1 a 4,
ou
• 4 x tipo AA ou AAA nos compartimentos de carga
1 a 4, e também 2 pilhas de 9 volts nos compartimentos de carga 5 e 6.
• O processo de carga começa. O carregador de
pilhas possui um LED por cada compartimento
de carga. Os LEDs de cada compartimento de
carga indicam o estado de carga da respectiva
pilha.
• Nos primeiros 5 segundos, o carregador de pilhas executa um rápido teste de capacidade:
- O LED do compartimento de carga acende a
verde:
capacidade superior a 90 %.
- O LED do compartimento de carga pisca a verde:
capacidade entre 80 % - 90 %.
- O LED do compartimento de carga acende-se
a vermelho:
capacidade entre 70 % - 80 %.
- O LED do compartimento de carga fica intermitente com a cor vermelha:
capacidade inferior a 70 %.
Indicação:
se o LED do compartimento de carga ficar intermitente com a cor vermelha durante mais de 5 segundos, a pilha não está correctamente colocada no
compartimento de carga ou está danificada.

Assim que a capacidade das pilhas for determinada,
começa o processo de carga.
Tenha, contudo, em atenção, que os tempos calculados são apenas valores de referência.
As diferentes indicações têm o seguinte significado:
- O LED pisca a vermelho e verde, em ciclos de
segundos (Não para pilhas de 9V):
as pilhas são carregadas e descarregadas, alternadamente.. (Função Refresh: pilhas antigas
ou armazenadas por um longo período de tempo são renovadas.)

O LED pisca a vermelho e verde, em ciclos de
1/2 segundos (não aplicável a pilhas de 9 V):
Se, devido a um armazenamento prolongado ou
ao tempo de utilização, não for necessário renovar as pilhas (função de refresh), tem lugar o seguinte processo: as pilhas são descarregadas, de
forma a minimizar o efeito de memória.
-
O LED brilha continuamente a vermelho:
as pilhas são carregadas com a corrente de
carga máxima.
-
O LED brilha continuamente a verde:
as pilhas estão completamente carregadas e o
carregador de pilhas muda para a função de
carga de manutenção.
Controlo automático de carga/
Carregamento de compensação
Este carregador de pilhas define separadamente o
tempo de carregamento para pilhas recarregáveis
do tipo Ni-Cd e Ni-MH. Esta definição baseia-se no
processo –Δ U („menos Delta U“).
Delta Δ designa-se na matemática como sendo as
diferenças.
„Menos Delta U“ significa, neste caso, uma diferença negativa de tensão.
Esta detecção de conclusão de carga tem como o
seguinte efeito positivo:
Se uma pilha é carregada com corrente constante,
a tensão continua sempre aumentar.
Se uma pilha estiver completamente carregada,
então a tensão alcança um máximo mas volta a
diminuir ligeiramente com a continuação
de corrente. Esta queda de tensão ligeira é detectada
pelo sistema electrónico de carregamento e o carregamento é terminado. O carregador de pilhas
muda automaticamente para „Carrega-mento de
compensação“. Isso significa que as pilhas recarregáveis já não estão a ser carregadas com corrente
de regime permanente, mas sim com breves impulsos eléctricos. Deste modo, é evitado o descarregamento automático e as pilhas recarregáveis mantêm-se com a carga completa.
Aviso!
As pilhas podem ficar quentes durante o
carregamento. Nunca toque nas pilhas quentes!
Existe perigo de queimaduras!
• Retire o cabo de rede do carregador de pilhas
da tomada e deixe arrefecer as pilhas.
De seguida pode retirar as pilhas carregadas do
carregador de pilhas.
Função de temporizador
Cálculo do tempo de carregamento
médio
Dependendo do tipo, tempo de utilização e estado
de carga das pilhas, o processo de carga tem durações diferentes. Pode calcular os tempos de carregamento médios usando a fórmula em baixo.
O carregador dispõe também de uma função de
temporizador, mudando automaticamente para a
carga de manutenção após 15 horas. Isto serve
como uma protecção adicional contra sobrecarga,
caso a detecção de carga completa não reaja
devido a uma pilha eventualmente danificada.

Eliminar avarias de função
Atenção!
Não utilize quaisquer detergentes agressivos, uma
vez que estes podem danificar a superfície do aparelho.
O carregador de pilhas não indica qualquer
função
• Verifique se o cabo de rede está correctamente
encaixado na tomada.
• Verifique se a tomada tem corrente. Para tal, ligue
outro aparelho, que não esteja avariado, a essa
tomada.
As pilhas colocadas não são carregadas
• Verifique se as pilhas estão colocadas de acordo
com a polaridade.
• Verifique se colocou pilhas apropriadas no carregador de pilhas. Para carregamento são apropriadas unicamente as pilhas Ni-Cd e Ni-MH
dos tipos AAA/AA/C/D e pilhas bloco 9 V.
• Retire o cabo de rede da tomada e deixe o
aparelho arrefecer, eventualmente o controlo da
temperatura foi activado. A monitorização da
temperatura interrompe o processo de carga,
logo que uma pilha recarregável atinja uma temperatura demasiado elevada.
Outras falhas de funcionamento
Dirija-se a um dos nossos parceiros de assistência
próximo de si, se:
• não conseguir eliminar falhas de funcionamento
como descrito
• surgir outra falha durante o funcionamento do
carregador de pilhas.
Limpar
Seite 22
Limpe o corpo do carregador de pilhas apenas
com um pano seco. Em caso de sujidade persistente, utilize um pano ligeiramente humedecido.
Nunca limpe o interior dos compartimentos de carga a húmido. Utilize antes um pincel limpo e suave
para a limpeza.
Eliminar
Nunca deite o aparelho no lixo
doméstico normal. Este produto está
em conformidade com a directiva
europeia 2002/96/EC.
Elimine o aparelho através de um serviço de
eliminação autorizado ou das entidades de
eliminação locais.
Preste atenção às prescrições actuais válidas.
Em caso de dúvida entre em contacto com a entidade
de eliminação de resíduos.

Safety instructions
Description of the appliance
Do not place the Battery Charger:
• where it would be subject to direct sunlight.
It could happen that the Battery Charger overheats and becomes irreparably damaged.
• in close adjacency to sources of heat. This includes for example ovens, fan heaters and similar
appliances, as well as the ventilation openings
of electrical devices. The Battery Charger could
be irreparably damaged.
• in damp environments or in the vicinity of water.
Moisture could permeate into the Battery Charger.
There would then be the danger of receiving an
electric shock and or causing a fire!
• Only charge rechargable batteries of the types
„Ni-Cd“ and „Ni-MH“. NEVER recharge batteries
of other types or non-rechargable batteries.
These are not suitable for recharging. Batteries
not suitable for recharging can overheat and
explode. It could irreparably damage the
Battery Charger and the inserted batteries.
There is also a risk of personal injury!

Danger of electrical shock!
Do not place the Battery Charger:
• in the close vicinity of water, e. g. baths and
swimming pools. Should water permeate into the
Battery Charger, the appliance could be irreparably damaged.
• Remove the power cable from the plug socket
before cleaning the Battery Charger. You can
thus avoid an electric shock. Should water or
moisture permeate the Battery Charger despite
observing all precautions, immediately remove
the power cable from the plug socket.
This device suitable only for use indoors.
Injury hazard!
• Always store batteries out of the reach of
children! There is a danger that children could
swallow batteries! Due to the poisonous content
of batteries there is a danger to life!
• When charging batteries never leave the
Battery Charger unsupervised.
• The batteries could become hot during charging.
NEVER touch hot batteries! There is a risk of
being burnt! After charging batteries, first of all
remove the power cable of the Battery Charger
from the plug socket. Then allow the batteries to
cool down before removing them from the
Battery Charger.
• Should the power cable be defective, immediately arrange for it to be replaced by a service
partner to avoid the risk of injury.
• The Battery Charger does not contain any userserviceable components. Should you open the
housing of the Battery Charger, the warranty
expires! Should repairs be needed, contact one
of our service partners in your area.

• No liability or warranty will be accepted for
damage caused by opening the appliance
housing, repairs attempted by non-qualified
persons or improper use of the Battery Charger!
• Leakage of battery acids can occur, especially
with old batteries. You should remove all batteries
from the Battery Charger if you do not intend to
use it for an extended period. You can thus
protect the Battery Charger from leaking battery
acids.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensorial or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
Dealing with rechargable batteries
• Do not use damaged (corroded) batteries.
• Should batteries leak, avoid skin contact with
them. This leads to skin irritation.
• Should a battery leak into the Battery Charger,
clean it with a dry cloth. Wear protective gloves!

Notice:
Ensure that the batteries are inserted into the
charging slots in accordance with their polarities.
Otherwise, the batteries will not be charged.
• Before taking the Battery Charger into use, check
that all items are complete/available and free of
visible damage.
• Place the Battery Charger on a straight, level,
scratch and slip resistant surface.
• Insert the batteries into the charging slots.
• Press the 9 V Block batteries into the charging
slot until they audibly engage.
Notice:
This appliance is equipped with non-slip rubber feet.
As furniture surfaces may be made of a variety of
materials and are treated with many different types
of cleaning agents, it cannot be completely ruled
out that some substances contain ingredients which
may corrode the rubber feet and soften them.
If possible, place an anti-slip material under the device.
•
Compare the technical data with that of your
current mains power supplier. If they are the
same, connect the power cable to a mains
power socket. The LEDs now light up red and
green. The Battery Charger is now ready for use.
Charging batteries
Danger!
Charge exclusively rechargable batteries of the
types „Ni-Cd“ and „Ni-MH“.
NEVER recharge batteries of other types or nonrechargable batteries. These are not suitable for
recharging. They could irreparably damage the
Battery Charger and the inserted batteries. There is
also the danger of a fire as well as an explosion!
Between 1-6 batteries can be loaded individually:
• 4 x Type C or Type D in the charging slots 1 to 4,
or
• 4 x Type AA or AAA in the charging slots 1 to 4,
with additionally 2 x Type 9 Volt Block batteries
in the charging slots 5 and 6.
• The charging process now begins. The Battery
Charger has an LED for each charging slot. The
LEDs of the charging slots indicate the charge
state of the battery they contain.
• In the first 5 seconds, the Battery Charger
performs a quick capacity test:
- The LED of the charging slot glows green:
Capacity over 90 %.
- The LED of the charging slot blinks green:
Capacity between 80 % - 90 %.
- The charging bay LED lights up red:
The capacity is between 70 % - 80 %
- The charging bay LED blinks red:
The capacity is under 70 %.
Notice:
If the charging bay LED blinks red for longer than
5 seconds the rechargeable battery is not correctly
inserted into the charging bay or the battery is defective.
When the capacity of the battery is determined,
charging process starts.

takes place: the rechargeable batteries are discharged to minimize the memory effect.

Calculating the average charging time
Dependant on the type, age and remaining battery
charge, hence the charging process takes different
lengths of time. The average charging times can be
calculated using the following formula.

Automatic charging control/
Retention charging
This Battery Charger controls the charging time for
rechargable batteries of the types Ni-Cd and Ni-MH
separately. This control is based on the –Δ U
(„minus Delta U“) calculation.
In mathematics, with Delta Δ differences are
described.
„Minus Delta U“ in this case means a negative
voltage difference.
This charge identification makes itself useful in the
following effects:
Should a battery be charged with a constant current,
its voltage rises continuously. When the battery is
full, its voltage reaches a maximum and falls lightly
with further current flow. This light fall in voltage is
recognised by the charging electronics and the
charge process is terminated. The Battery Charger
automatically switches to „Retention charging“.
This means that the batteries are no longer being
charged with continuous power, but with short power
impulses instead. This counteracts the process of
self-discharge, thus retaining the batteries in a fully
charged condition.
Timer control
In addition, this Battery Charger is fitted with a timer
control, which after 15 hours automatically switches
over to trickle charge. This serves as additional
protection against overcharging should the charge
terminating device not respond, due to a possibly
defective battery.

Important!
Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents,
as these can damage the upper surfaces.
The Battery Charger displays no functions
• Check to see if the power cable is correctly
inserted into the power socket.
• Check to see if the power socket is „live“. To do
this, connect a different, functioning electrical
appliance to the socket.
Clean the housing of the Battery Charger only with
a dry cloth. For stubborn soiling use a slightly damp
cloth.
Under no circumstances use moisture to clean the
interior of the charger. Instead, use a soft and clean
brush to clean the insides.
The inserted batteries are not being charged
• Check that the batteries are being inserted in
accord with their polarity.
• Check that batteries suitable for charging have
been inserted into the Battery Charger. Suitable
for charging are exclusively rechargable Ni-Cd
and Ni-MH batteries of the types AAA/AA/C/D
and 9 V Block batteries.
• Remove the power cable from the power socket
and allow the appliance to cool down, as the
temperature monitoring has possibly activated
itself. Temperature monitoring ensures that the
charging process is broken off as soon as a battery reaches an excessively high temperature.
Do not dispose of the appliance in your
normal domestic waste. This product is
subject to the European guideline
2002/96/EC.
Dispose of the appliance through an approved
dis-posal centre or at your community waste facility.
Observe the currently applicable regulations.
In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal
centre.
Other malfunctions
Battery disposal!
Make contact with one of our service partners close
to you if:
• the malfunction cannot be corrected as
described above,
• or, when operating the Battery Charger, other
malfunctions occur.
Batteries may not be disposed of with normal
domestic waste. All consumers are statutorily obliged
to dispose of batteries at the collection point in their
community/district or with the original supplier.
The purpose of this obligation is to ensure that
batteries can be disposed of in an environmentally
friendly manner. Only dispose of batteries when
they are fully discharged.

Disconnect the power cable before cleaning. There
is the risk of receiving an electric shock! Ensure that

Brandgefahr!
Stellen Sie das Akku-Ladegerät nicht:
• an Orten auf, die direkter Sonnenstrahlung ausgesetzt sind. Anderenfalls kann das Akku-Ladegerät überhitzen und irreparabel beschädigt
werden.
• in unmittelbarer Nähe von Hitzequellen auf.
Dazu zählen z. B. Öfen, Heizlüfter und ähnliche
Geräte sowie Belüftungsöffnungen anderer elektrischer Geräte. Anderenfalls kann das Akku-Ladegerät irreparabel beschädigt werden.
• in feuchten Umgebungen oder in der Nähe von
Wasser auf. Anderenfalls kann Feuchtigkeit in
das Akku-Ladegerät eindringen. Es besteht die
Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages und eines
Brandes!
• Laden Sie ausschließlich wiederaufladbare Akkus
der Typen „Ni-Cd“ und „Ni-MH“. Laden Sie

Gefahr durch elektrischen Schlag!
Stellen Sie das Akku-Ladegerät nicht:
• in unmittelbarer Nähe von Wasser auf, z. B. an
Badewannen oder Swimmingpools. Läuft Wasser
in das Akku-Ladegerät, kann das Gerät irreparabel beschädigt werden.
• Ziehen Sie vor dem Reinigen des Akku-Ladegerätes das Netzkabel aus der Steckdose. So vermeiden Sie einen elektrischen Schlag. Sollte trotz aller Vorsicht Wasser/Feuchtigkeit in das
Akku-Ladegerät eindringen, ziehen Sie sofort den
Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
Das Gerät ist nur für die Verwendung in
Innenräumen geeignet.
Verletzungsgefahr!
• Bewahren Sie Akkus immer außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf! Es besteht die Gefahr, dass
Kinder Akkus verschlucken! Aufgrund der giftigen
Inhaltsstoffe der Akkus besteht Lebensgefahr!
• Lassen Sie das Akku-Ladegerät während des Aufladens von Akkus niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
• Die Akkus können beim Aufladen heiß werden.
Berühren Sie niemals heiße Akkus! Anderenfalls
besteht die Gefahr von Verbrennungen! Ziehen
Sie daher nach dem Aufladen zunächst das
Netzkabel des Akku-Ladegerätes aus der Steckdose. Lassen Sie die Akkus anschließend abkühlen,
bevor Sie sie aus dem Akku-Ladegerät entnehmen.
• Wenn das Netzkabel defekt ist, lassen Sie es
durch einen Servicepartner sofort austauschen,
um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
• Das Akku-Ladegerät enthält keine Teile, die vom
Benutzer gewartet werden können. Wird das
Gehäuse des Akku-Ladegerätes geöffnet, so erlischt die Garantie! Wenden Sie sich im Falle einer Reparatur an einen unserer Servicepartner
in Ihrer Nähe.

Verwendung des Akku-Ladegerätes wird keine
Haftung/Gewährleistung übernommen!
• Insbesondere bei alten Akkus kann es zum
Auslaufen von Batteriesäure kommen. Entnehmen
Sie daher alle Akkus, wenn Sie das Akku-Ladegerät längere Zeit nicht benutzen. So schützen Sie
das Akku-Ladegerät vor Schäden durch auslaufende Batteriesäure.
• Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch
Personen (einschließlich Kinder) mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen
Fähigkeiten oder mangels Erfahrung und/oder
mangels Wissen benutzt zu werden, es sei denn,

Umgang mit Akkus
• Benutzen Sie keine beschädigten (korrodierten)
Akkus.

Hautkontakt. Das führt zu Hautirritationen.
• Ist ein Akku im Akku-Ladegerät ausgelaufen, reinigen Sie es mit einem trockenen Tuch. Tragen
Sie Handschuhe!

Hinweis:
Achten Sie darauf, die Akkus entsprechend ihrer
Polarität in die Fächer der Ladeschächte einzulegen.
Anderenfalls werden die Akkus nicht aufgeladen.
• Überprüfen Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme den
Lieferumfang auf Vollständigkeit und eventuell
sichtbare Beschädigungen.
• Stellen Sie das Akku-Ladegerät auf einem geraden, ebenen, kratzfesten und rutschsicheren
Untergrund auf.
• Setzen Sie die Akkus in die Ladeschächte ein.
• Drücken Sie die Akkus Typ 9 V-Block in die
Ladeschächte, bis sie hörbar einrasten.
Hinweis:
Dieses Gerät ist mit rutschfesten Gummifüßen ausgestattet. Da Möbeloberflächen aus den verschiedenen
Materialien bestehen und mit unterschiedlichsten
Pflegemitteln behandelt werden, kann es nicht völlig
ausgeschlossen werden, dass manche dieser Stoffe
Bestandteile enthalten, die die Gummifüße angreifen
und aufweichen. Legen Sie gegebenenfalls eine
rutschfeste Unterlage unter die Füße des Gerätes.
• Vergleichen Sie die technischen Daten mit denen
Ihres Stromnetzbetreibers. Bei Übereinstimmung,
schließen Sie das Netzkabel an eine Steckdose
an. Die LEDs leuchten einmal rot und grün auf.
Das Akku-Ladegerät ist jetzt betriebsbereit.
Akkus aufladen
Gefahr!
Laden Sie ausschließlich wiederaufladbare Akkus
der Typen „Ni-Cd“ und „Ni-MH“. Laden Sie niemals
Akkus anderen Typs oder nicht-wiederaufladbare
Batterien auf. Diese sind nicht zum Aufladen geeignet. Anderenfalls können das Akku-Ladegerät und
die eingelegten Akkus/Batterien irreparabel beschädigt werden. Es besteht die Gefahr eines Brandes
sowie Explosionsgefahr!
Es können individuell 1–6 Akkus geladen werden:
• 4 x Typ C oder Typ D in den Ladeschächten
1 bis 4,
oder
• 4 x Typ AA oder AAA in den Ladeschächten
1 bis 4, mit zusätzlich 2 x Typ 9 Volt-Akkus in
den Ladeschächten 5 und 6.
• Der Ladevorgang beginnt nun. Das Akku-Ladegerät besitzt je eine LED für jedes Fach im Ladeschacht. Die LEDs der jeweiligen Ladeschächte zeigen den Ladezustand der einzelnen Akkus an.
• In den ersten 5 Sekunden führt das Akku-Ladegerät einen Kapazitätsschnelltest durch:
- Die LED des Ladeschachts leuchtet grün:
Kapazität über 90 %.
- Die LED des Ladeschachts blinkt grün:
Kapazität zwischen 80 % - 90 %.
- Die LED des Ladeschachts leuchtet rot:
Kapazität zwischen 70 % - 80 %.
- Die LED des Ladeschachts blinkt rot:
Kapazität unter 70 %.
Hinweis:
Blinkt die LED des Ladeschachts länger als 5 Sekunden rot, ist der Akku nicht richtig in den Ladeschacht
eingelegt oder defekt.
Ist die Kapazität der Akkus festgestellt, beginnt der
Ladevorgang.

Die verschiedenen Anzeigen haben folgende
Bedeutungen:
- Die LED blinkt im Sekundentakt rot und grün
(nicht für 9V-Block Akkus):
Die Akkus werden abwechselnd geladen und
entladen. (Refresh-Funktion: Ältere oder lange
gelagerte Akkus werden wieder aufgefrischt.)

Die LED blinkt im 1/2-Sekundentakt rot und grün
(nicht für 9V-Block Akkus):
Wenn die Akkus nicht, bedingt durch lange Lagerung oder das Alter, aufgefrischt werden müssen (Refresh-Funktion), findet folgender Prozess
statt: Die Akkus werden entladen, um den
Memory-Effekt zu verringern.

Die LED leuchtet durchgehend rot:
Die Akkus werden mit dem maximalen Ladestrom geladen.

Die LED leuchtet durchgehend grün:
Die Akkus sind vollständig geladen und das
Akku-Ladegerät schaltet auf Erhaltungsladung um.
Warnung!
Die Akkus können beim Aufladen heiß werden.
Berühren Sie niemals heiße Akkus! Es besteht
Verbrennungsgefahr!
• Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel des Akku-Ladegerätes
aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie die Akkus
abkühlen.
Anschließend können Sie die geladenen Akkus aus
dem Akku-Ladegerät entnehmen.
Berechnung der durchschnittlichen
Ladezeit
Abhängig von Typ, Alter und Restladezustand der
Akkus dauert der Aufladevorgang unterschiedlich
lange. Die durchschnittlichen Ladezeiten können Sie
mit Hilfe nachstehender Formel berechnen.

Beachten Sie jedoch, dass es sich bei den
berechneten Zeiten nur um Richtwerte handelt.

Automatische Ladekontrolle/
Erhaltungsladung
Dieses Akku-Ladegerät steuert die Ladezeit für
Akkus vom Typ Ni-Cd und Ni-MH separat.
Dieser Steuerung liegt das –Δ U („minus Delta U“)
Verfahren zugrunde.
Mit dem Delta Δ bezeichnet man in der
Mathematik Differenzen.
„Minus Delta U“ bedeutet in diesem Fall eine
negative Spannungsdifferenz.
Diese Ladeschlusserkennung macht sich folgenden
Effekt zu nutze:
Wird ein Akku mit konstantem Strom geladen, steigt
seine Spannung immer weiter an. Ist ein Akku voll,
so erreicht seine Spannung jedoch ein Maximum
und fällt bei weiterem Stromfluss wieder leicht ab.
Dieser leichte Spannungsabfall wird von der Ladeelektronik erkannt und die Ladung wird beendet.
Das Akku-Ladegerät schaltet automatisch auf „Erhaltungsladung“. Das heißt, die Akkus werden nicht
mehr mit Dauerstrom, sondern mit kurzen Stromimpulsen geladen. Dadurch wird der Selbstentladung
entgegengewirkt und die Akkus werden in einem
vollständigen Ladezustand gehalten.
Timersteuerung
Zusätzlich verfügt das Akku-Ladegerät über eine
Timersteuerung, welche nach 15 Stunden automatisch in die Erhaltungsladung wechselt. Dies dient
als zusätzlicher Schutz vor Überladung, falls die
Ladeschlusserkennung aufgrund eines evtl. defekten
Akkus nicht reagiert.

Funktionsstörungen beheben
Achtung!
Das Akku-Ladegerät zeigt keine Funktion
• Überprüfen Sie, ob das Netzkabel richtig in die
Steckdose eingesteckt ist.
• Überprüfen Sie, ob die Steckdose Strom führt.
Schließen Sie dazu ein anderes, funktionstüchtiges
Elektrogerät an diese Steckdose an.
Die eingelegten Akkus werden nicht aufgeladen
• Überprüfen Sie, ob die Akkus entsprechend ihrer
Polarität eingelegt wurden.
• Überprüfen Sie, ob Sie zum Aufladen geeignete
Akkus in das Akku-Ladegerät eingelegt haben.
Zum Aufladen geeignet sind ausschließlich ladefähige Ni-Cd- und Ni-MH-Akkus der Typen
AAA/AA/C/D und 9 V-Block.
• Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel aus der Steckdose
und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen, da eventuell
die Temperaturüberwachung ausgelöst wurde.
Die Temperaturüberwachung sorgt dafür, dass
der Ladevorgang abbricht, sobald ein Akku eine
zu hohe Temperatur erreicht.
Andere Funktionsstörungen
Wenden Sie sich bitte an einen unserer Servicepartner
in Ihrer Nähe, falls:
• sich die Funktionsstörungen nicht wie beschrieben
beheben lassen
• oder beim Betrieb des Akku-Ladegerätes andere
Funktionsstörungen auftreten.
Reinigen
Gefahr!

Verwenden Sie keine aggressiven oder scheuernden
Reinigungsmittel, da diese die Gehäuseoberfläche
angreifen können.
Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse des Akku-Ladegerätes
ausschließlich mit einem trockenen Tuch. Benutzen
Sie bei hartnäckigen Verschmutzungen ein leicht
angefeuchtetes Tuch.
Reinigen Sie das Innere der Ladeschächte keinesfalls
feucht. Benutzen Sie zum Säubern stattdessen einen
sauberen, weichen Pinsel.
Entsorgen
Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den
normalen Hausmüll. Dieses Produkt
unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie
2002/96/EC.
Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen
Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre kommunale
Entsorgungseinrichtung.
Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden Vorschriften.
Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung.
Batterien/Akkus entsorgen
Batterien/Akkus dürfen nicht im Hausmüll entsorgt
werden. Jeder Verbraucher ist gesetzlich verpflichtet, Batterien/Akkus bei einer Sammelstelle seiner
Gemeinde / seines Stadtteils oder im Handel abzugeben. Diese Verpflichtung dient dazu, dass
Batterien/Akkus einer umweltschonenden Entsorgung zugeführt werden können. Geben Sie Batterien/Akkus nur im entladenen Zustand zurück.
Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker.
Es besteht die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages!
Achten Sie darauf, dass bei der Reinigung keine
Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät eindringt!
Führen Sie alle Verpackungsmaterialien
einer umweltgerechten Entsorgung zu.
