CONCEPT
Parola chiave: design, che ben si sposa con i tagli ergonomici, i materiali tecnici ed i
dettagli riflettenti.
La capsula “Match Race” è pensata per dare continuità e collegamento tra la collezione
estiva e quella invernale, per poter abbinare diversi capi tra loro e renderli quindi adatti ad
ogni stagione e ad ogni condizione climatica .
La capsula “Archivio” racchiude i capi iconici SLAM che restano sempre attuali perché
non tramontano mai
La collezione è suddivisa in quattro matrici che rappresentano il concept SLAM 2017:
PRO
La matrice PRO è la massima espressione di tecnologia SLAM che trae la sua ispirazione
dal mondo del racing e della vela Olimpica. E’ la collezione più avanzata nella quale tutti
i dettagli vengono testati dai nostri testimonials e atleti. Grazie a questa esperienza e
conoscenza nascono i prodotti più performanti della collezione.
SAILING
E’ un insieme di capi versatili per varie attività all’aria aperta, ideali per una giornata in
marina ed un’uscita in barca. Ai modelli più tecnici si aggiungono quelli più classici ed
evocativi del mondo nautico che vengono trattati in modo fresco e contemporaneo .
Capi realizzati con materiali ad alto contenuto tecnologico come la felpa in un morbido
jersey a doppia frontura ed il giubbotto in un leggerissimo 2,5L stretch WP traspirante,
indispensabile in mare con condizioni meteo incerte ma senza creare ingombri.
Le caratteristiche principali sono la leggerezza, la traspirabilità e la facilità di asciugatura:
pantaloncini e T-shirt in tessuti leggerissimi con inserti in rete, pack light antivento e un
soft-shell leggerissimo WP, stretch ed estremamente traspirante, trattamenti anti UV
e antibatterici per le T-Shirt, polo e pantaloni.
LEISURE
Abbigliamento di derivazione nautica che vede l’applicazione di materiali tecnici e
performanti, tagli innovativi per garantire un look slim ma senza nulla togliere al confort.
Lo stile è semplice, raffinato è aggiornato: il Pea coat rinnovato con particolari a taglio
laser, il Blazer informale che si raccoglie nel ristretto spazio delle cabine ma rende
elegante una cena allo Yacht Club .
La proposta di polo è ampia: le classiche righe sono arricchite da stampe 3D, i colli
hanno nuove texture e i fitting sono diversificati. Le grafiche sono evolute, trattate con
applicazioni laserate e lamine d’argento, arricchite da sfondi sfumati ed interpretazioni che
contribuiscono a dare il sapore marino, il mondo di appartenenza del marchio.
CITY
La linea presenta una nuova proposta di look urbano funzionale e moderno, giacche
adatte alle varie occasioni: l’ufficio, il tempo libero o per una passeggiata in banchina.
La linea City ha una forte connotazione grazie alla sua cartella colori dove il Carribbean
blu contrasta il Delft ed il Lizard è rischiarato dal Lime, e poi ancora si accende di luce con
i toni solari dei Crab, Poppy Red ed il Mais.
Gli imbottiti sono leggeri e trapuntati con gli ultrasuoni per evitare che gli aghi buchino il
tessuto e per conferire ai capi un aspetto decisamente hi-tech. Le ovatte utilizzate sono le
migliori e di ultima generazione, leggere e traspiranti (Primaloft). I materiali sono il cotone
nylon stretch abbinato ad un pantalone derivante dal jogging con vita e fondo elasticato
estremamente comodo e in forte tendenza.

“Match Race” capsule is designed to give continuity and to link Summer and Winter
collection, items will perfectly match and could be used together, becoming a multiseasonal garment perfect for every weather conditions.
“Archivio” capsule includes all the iconic SLAM items that are always a modern evergreen.
Spring/Summer collection has four matrix that are the SLAM 2017 concept:
PRO
PRO matrix is the higher SLAM technology expression that gets its inspiration from
Racing and Olympic sail worlds. It is the most performing collection, all technical
items’ features and details are tested by our athletes and testimonials. Thanks to this
“first-hands experience” and on the ground gaining knowledge, the collection’s highly
performing items come to life.
SAILING
Is a collection of functional items perfect for several outdoor activities, great to spend a
day out in an harbor city or for a boat trip. Technical garments get along together with the
most classic and nautical inspired items, declined in a fresh and modern design.
Garments are made out of highly technical materials such as double-side knitted interlock
for the sweatshirt and the 2.5L Ultralight breathable jacket made out of a stretch WP
fabric, a key item that is essential to be overboard always under unreliable weather
conditions but easily packable.
Key features are lightness, breathability and fast dry: shorts and T-shirts made out of
ultralight fabric with mesh inserts, windproof pack-light and a WP ultralight soft-shell
jackets, stretch and extremely breathable, anti-UV and bacteriostatic treatments on
T-shirts, polo shirt and trousers.
LEISURE
Nautical inspiration apparel that as a wide usage of technical and performing materials,
innovative cuts that give a slim look but never forget the high comfort.
Simple but dressy and contemporary style: Pea coat jacket is updated by laser cut, casual
Blazer jacket that is perfect for the boat cabin compact space but also for an elegant
Yacht Club dinner.
Polo shirt proposal range is very wide: classic striped polo shirt are empowered by 3D
prints, new textures for knitted collars and a well-defined fitting range. Contemporary
technique for prints, laser applications, silver foils, with shaded backgrounds that enhance
the nautical flavor, a world that belongs to the brand.
CITY
Functional urban and contemporary look, all-occasion jackets: office, outdoor or simply to
take a walk along the dock.
City capsule has a very strong identity thanks to its color card where the Caribbean blue
is in contrast with Delft, Lizard is lighten up by Lime, and is even more lighten up by sunny
warmer tones as Crab, Poppy Red and Mais.
Quilted items are ultralight and have supersonic stitching that punches the fabric
without piercing it by a regular needle to give all the items a strong high-tech flavor.
Last generation and best wadding materials are used for this garments, ultralight and
breathable (Primaloft). Material usage includes stretch cotton nylon that is combined with
a jogging trouser with elastic waistband and cuffs extremely comfortable and “ a must ”
for the seasonal trend.

DUREVOLE RESISTENZA ALL’ACQUA - DURABLE
WATER REPELLENT
Il tessuto riceve un trattamento chimico che gli
conferisce una superficiale repellenza all’acqua.

layer water repellency.
ANTIVENTO - WINDPROOF
Trattamento di laminatura o spalmatura che rende il
tessuto resistente al vento.

TRASPIRABILITÀ - BREATHABLE
Creando artificialmente due ambienti con diverse
condizioni igrometriche e facendo passare il vapore
attraverso il tessuto si misura la quantità traspirata (grammi
di vapore acqueo x metri quadrati di tessuto x 24 ore).
Artificially creating two environments with differing
hygrometric characteristics, vapour is passed between

di protezione contro gli effetti dannosi dei raggi solari
ultravioletti è maggiore a 30 UPF. Questa protezione UV
si ottiene grazie alla speciale costruzione del tessuto
o all’utilizzo di microfibre superopache oppure con
l’inserimento nel filato di un filtro UV a base di Titanio.

RAPIDA ASCIUGATURA - QUICK DRYING
A fabric provides UV PROTECTION when it has UPF30+
rating, which means it effectively blocks solar ultraviolet
radiation from reaching the skin. This UV protection is
obtained thanks to the special construction of the fabric
or to the use of very tight weaves (microfiber) or by
finishing the fabric with a titanium-based UV filter.
BATTERIOSTATICO - BACTERIOSTATIC
Il tessuto batteriostatico serve ad impedire il proliferare dei
batteri mantenendo inalterato il ph fisiologico della pelle,
evitando la formazione di allergie, dermatiti ed altri disturbi
cutanei. Si ottiene attraverso il trattamento sanitized
oppure con l’inserimento di ioni di argento nel filato.
Bacteriostatic fabric acts as a barrier to inhibit the
growth and reproduction of bacteria; it also maintains
the skin’s natural PH balance, providing protection from
allergies, dermatitis and other skin complaints. It is
obtained through sanitizing treatment or by adding silver
ions to the yarn.
